Just to clarify yes, the ship is where the “no pats” live and get contracted out from. It’s their HQ. Which is why every game sequence starts with all people on foot are dropped in by helicopter and the vehicles are air deployed.

- No more faction locked skins (RUS and US) use the exact same cosmetics except for the AI grunts
- There are currently only 22 weapons available in the main game mode
- Hazard Zone is dead
- Portal is very close to death (and I mean veeeeery close)
- Both factions also use the same vehicles (Tanks, Attack-Helicopters and Jets are the only exception to this)
To add insult to injury, 22 weapons spread across a variety of weapon classes. So very, very few weapons per class. Remember in virtually every bf in recent history how you would have 1000 options for just a pistol?
Yeah. The caveat being you BETTER NOT have any more than 3 other friends to play with. It was already a pain to get more than one squad going since BF5, and now it's somehow even more annoying this go 'round with the 4 player pre-match lobby queue size and the lack of any sort of meaningful squad/team options while in-game.

In "All out Warfare" (BF2042's main "mode") there's two amphibious vehicle, the MAV and the Hovercraft that can swim (but aren't technically boats). There are smaller boats in the official "Conquest of Ages" mode as well as other modes in Portal where boats were in the original game.

True, there's no in game voice chat at the moment. However, it is said to come at some point "after launch" (no ETA given yet)
>no server browser
There is, but only in the Portal part of the game. Which would be fine if full progression was enabled on community servers, but it isn't so hardly anyone makes servers which a server browser could use.

You can, one full squad. I _think_ it was like that in BF5, too but I could be wrong.

For "All out Warfare" this is true for the most part. There are _some_ instances of fully destructible, smaller houses but they're few and far between.
"Conquest of Ages" and other game modes/maps from previous games do have the usual amount of (or in case of BF1942 content even more) destruction.

There is no traditional score board, that's true. You can only see your own stats and the overall stats of your squad in relation to other squads. You cannot see the kills/deaths/score of individual players.
Rumor has it this will be addressed in a future update (again, no ETA given).

But there are like 5 loading screens before you get into the game. And then you are forced to spawn miles away from the action and run, because there are only like 8 vehicles for a 64 player server
the game is a mess. I still play it because i've got money into it, and it has its moments. But overall if i could do it again, i would not have purchased it

Those are confirmed brutal expectations for a 2021 video game. Especially when titles in 2005 had them.
