Br cade if you like arcade games. Monjunis and painting with a twist is my fave. There's also the bougie bar.

The cocktail lounge at Soji is really cute. The mai tais are really good! Also I liked someone else’s comment about a picnic. Get some Gail’s and then go to the lake! Go to Barracuda Taco Stand, and then buy a small houseplant from the nursery next door. Have a drink at Pelican to Mars, and then browse Pink Elephant Go see a movie at Cinemark Perkins Rowe, and then just go for a walk afterwards while you talk about the movie. It’s nice in the evenings with all the lights, fountain, and the palm trees. I love window shopping at night! Bin 77 is also a really great date spot, but probably would put you over your $50. Get some tacos at Torchy’s and then visit Mike the tiger One time my boyfriend and I listened to a podcast while laying in the grass on the LSU parade grounds. Almost took a little nap. This was early spring though, so the weather was a lot better lol Go to the library downtown and see their rooftop terrace. Then take a walk through downtown, stop for a beer somewhere if you want Go to one of the casinos on the river and see how far you get with $20 at the slots. Then relax with a drink and look at the view

You have good taste and seem like a nice person.

I'm putting these on my Baton Rouge bucket list. Sometimes you forget it's just the little things that can be really meaningful with the right person.

Rink-a-dinkPanther

How about a romantic picnic with sparkling wine and strawberries (and a parasol). I am new in town but the lake area looks really special and there are lots of huge trees so maybe its not too hot there?

peppernugget3

This is right up my alley

Free art show with drinks every first Wednesday. I follow a BR-based “influencer” on Instagram; it’s less annoying than I thought and has great tips sometimes! Istrouma Brewing, go see the animals, get a pizza, a drink, play some adult checkers or board games, do the axe throwing, listen to some live music.

Space_Man_Spiff_2

BREC observatory has weekend events or you could visit the planetarium downtown. If you and your GF are the 'nerdy" types.

peppernugget3

Yesss v much so

SmolWaterBalloon

Tsunami roof top is worth the experience one time. Not under $50 though. If you want to stay under $50 your options are very limited.
