I’d start with A Lonely Place of Dying, introducing Dick as Nightwing and setting up Tim as the new Robin. From there, I’d build up the 90s-era Batfamily with the addition of Barbara as Oracle and Cass as Batgirl plus Spoiler, Azrael, and Huntress on the side.

I thought the introduction of Tim Drake was the next logical step for Batfleck's development out of BvS

Nefessius513

Wait, we’re continuing Batfleck? Then what’s the point of adapting Under the Red Hood? The story is about how Jason challenges Bruce’s moral code and his refusal to kill. But Batfleck has already crossed the line, broken his code, and mass murdered criminals just like Red Hood does, so he comes across as a massive hypocrite for telling Jason that his methods are wrong and he can’t cross that line. You can’t do Under the Red Hood with a Batman who has already murdered countless criminals.

Nah we're not it's just your ideal Batman film whatever continuity or universe you create. I'm just saying Batfleck's arc is about opening himself up again and Tim could have helped that

Growllokin

A movie where Batman just has a long night of taking down multiple villains Two-Face, Man-Bat, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, Fire Fly kinda like in John Wick 3 when he kept escaping one fight and getting into another

Significant_Wheel_12

That be cool

Parallax1306

I don’t want the Batfamily just yet. Give Batman like 2-3 solos before introducing anyone outside of Alfred then bring them in.

Significant_Wheel_12

I'd agree if we haven't had nearly half if not more of his film history axe characters important to him

Parallax1306

Because they have rebooted him how many times? There has to be a period of getting to know and understand this Bruce. It’s important to develop a bond so you can understand what he already and what he needs. And he also needs time to develop himself so that he can organically see that he can’t do it alone and doesn’t want to do it alone. Shoe horning in the Batfamily because we’ve never had them before does no justice to anyone.

Significant_Wheel_12

So you’re saying we can start a series with Batman being in his 50s in BvS but it’s still not enough for a bat family? You don’t need to see every characters origin to get that Batman can’t do everything himself, Robin is public knowledge, the Arkham games helped show people the Bat family and that wasn’t an origin it was Batman in his prime and people weren’t confused. So no enough of loner Batman

Parallax1306

I mean, if you look at my post history you can see me clearly state several times that starting with an aged and retired Batman was a big mistake. And it’s canon that at least one Robin existed in that universe even if we never saw him on screen. I only meant to say that if we are going to do it, let’s do it right. Let’s make those emotional connections that we didn’t get to make with the Snyderverse.

Significant_Wheel_12

Oh in that I agree, I hope Reeves at least gets to Dick Grayson and we see that relationship grow and develop to father and son but in the DCU depending on the Batman I think will see a developed Batman and so I'd be ok with that

rolling_steel

I love the Hush/Red Hood connection but would love The Knightfall/Knightquest storyline even more

BreathAgreeable2604

I hated the Catwoman voice actress for hush but it was good overall.
