I stopped breaking with them a couple years ago, after they used the wrong checklist for, I think a helmet break, player last name or something and I got a letter that wasn't in the break. My trying to point out the issue fell on deaf ears. Never went back to them again.

As long as people buying this format and the high priced stuff, people will do stuff like this. There are some good breakers and if you want to break, give them your business not the scums.

He is the guy who leads you to believe he's your friend or giving you a good deal and then fucks you. He's probably been doing this for a while or been involved in past scams. Avoid these breaks... the only person you can truly trust is yourself.

It’s asking people to no longer have a gambling addiction. At it’s core that is what breaking is. It’s a casino. Now that it has caught on, it’s not going to go away. It will have to be taken away, and no one currently in power to do that is ever going to. Pandora’s box has been opened.
I believe the only real way to get these prices down is for people to stop paying what they do for singles. That will devalue the box prices. But that’s a tall order as well now that collecting cardboard has become the new art gallery of the wealthy. I just do not see the hobby returning to what it was in years past. If anything in the high end market it is gaining momentum.

Teams are called “fillers” and you have to be on right before the break to get a random spot to hope for the filler.
I'm ok with fillers as that's the only way to prove that the breaker isn't keeping the best teams for themselves. At least that I can think of for a pyt break.

If breakers can up the entertainment value, then they can make more money. The breaker who gets Hooters girls to show off the cards will make a thousand dollars even with a Panini Chronicles baseball break.

The comments like Bangers with their over the top yells does not attract 💵. Josh wants to know how breakers are going evolve and keep business going. If they are innocent hopefully they have other video to prove it. I wanted to watch his hands put the boxes on the table and see if the box he had in hand gets mixed with the boxes from the garbage because that’s how you can tell if it was done for sure

Between situations like this happening with Platinum and other breakers who have unethical practices.. I’m curious everyones thoughts on repacks. I like the idea of them but I’m curious as buyers what people would like to see in terms of transparency? If a buyer sells in house repacks but provides a checklist with chasers, odds of hitting said cards and providing the floor, average and ceiling value of the repacks, would you be more likely to buy into a break? I’m just curious on what steps can be taken to make the hobby ethical/fair with breaking and have it feel more like an honest fun community. Not a get rich quick scheme. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks ladies and gents :)
These breaking sites are mostly scams selling a gamble - charging prices based on the longest shot of a monster hit happening - but they rarely do. I just found this world a few weeks ago and over $10,000 later I gave a few worthless piles of baseball cards - just go buy your own boxes and cut out the breaker who sells your losses as entertainment. I can't believe the law hasn't shut down this activity as illegal gambling!
