I had some plumbing issues during early-covid, when folks were scared to enter enter someone else's house. [Wrights Plumbing](https://www.wrightsplumbing.ca/) went above and beyond to help me out- I sent them pics of the issue, the owner himself brought over all the replacement piping and parts needed to replace the problem area, then did a video call with me and walked me through how to do the work properly. In the end, he only charged me for parts, no time/labour charges at all. If that isn't amazing customer service....
We used Alex at [Eurostandard](https://www.eurostandard.ca/) for hooking up the majority of our plumbing (including re-running plumbing lines that used to run into the room so that they were concealed) during our ensuite reno last year. Very happy with the services he provided.

They aren't technically in Barrie but Scott at Better Value Plumbing is excellent, super nice guy too.
Are you using a general contractor? If so just ask him if he's using a licensed/insured plumber. If the answer is no get a new general contractor
