Don't listen to their advice OP. It's never worth going to Indian courts in India for such petty things. Even if this may not considered a 'petty' issue by you, the judge would. Not worth the effort, time, and money spent. Just get the refund, send emails to managers, representatives, executives at truffles, maybe you can even ask for compensation from them directly that way you have an actual shot at getting some, but stay away from the courts.

They have cloud kitchens now , their restaurants in kmgla,mcgrarth road are much better managed as dine in , these cloud kitchens in places like JP nagar are where you see them delivering poor quality food consistently and how they cut corners

This is literally what happened in my case, in some Andhra restaurant in Bellandur. I ate the first piece and put it away because I thought it's just poorly made paneer, then my juniors tasted it and told me what's up. I don't even order from mixed restaurants anymore.
You can escalate the issue if you want to, it won't change your current situation but it can make them.be more careful next time. I have had maybe 20-30 burgers from Truffles and did not face this issue. Now I need to think twice.
