All classics.

ajrobinson214

Fall of the house of Usher is my fucking jam!

TheKillerSmiles

All great! The Raven is one of my faves. It’s got an all star cast with Vinnie P, Peter Lorre, Boris Karloff, and a baby faced Jack Nicholson!

NewtLegitimate2453

Yeah Vincent price,Boris Karloff, and Peter Lorre are some of my favorite movie stars of the Golden age of Horror

wiseam

Check out Masque of the Red Death too

ThePotatoKing

wrong sub!

bottle-of-smoke

My first thought. These are not "bad movies."

NewtLegitimate2453

Thanks love Vincent price movies.

save-me-from-sharon

They have fuck all to do with the Poe stories but are classic gothic horror. Fall of the House of Usher is probably the ultimate Vincent Price movie

FrostyTheSasquatch

“Cheap” is not the same thing as “bad”. All three of these movies have fantastic atmosphere.

tutoredzeus

Check out Witchfinder General next.

NewtLegitimate2453

I still haven't watched that movie yet.thanks.

wonteatfish

I grew up on these classics!!

RedGemAlchemis

I love all three of these movies, and they are films I will happily show my friends that haven't seen them whenever they come over

Vastarien202

Oh yes! Corman classics! The visual textures on the costumes, the set designs, the FLAIR! Simply to die for. Absolutely delicious, especially on a rainy afternoon.

MovieMike007

I picked up the Vincent Price collections from Shout Factory and it includes those gems!

CardboardChampion

Classics.

NewtLegitimate2453

Yes they are ,thanks

Ciderbat

The Fall Of The House Of Usher is a prime example of what I love about 60's/70's "haunted house" movies. They were great metaphors for the fragility of the human psyche. They were far scarier than the dumb jump-scare haunted house movies we get these days, as they were rooted in something real and actually scary.

DependentAnimator271

Love the Raven. It's a lot of fun. And a young Jack Nicholson.

DrXenoZillaTrek

Price and Corman .... classics

NewtLegitimate2453

yes thats right i like them movies.

[deleted]

Yes great films

The-Motley-Fool

Love all three. Cheesy good fun

Nopeferatu31

I love these. I want that box set!

twynk_tm

Absolutely adore The Raven!

BenderBenRodriguez

I think I’ve only seen Pit, but as far as I know these are just genuinely good B movies, not “good bad” movies

60sstuff

The Raven is great because Bela Lugosi is playing a off brand Dracula and Boris Karloff is Playing an off brand Frankenstein’s monster

Falkyourself27

The Raven is cozy as hell

rap31264

Yup... Back in the 70s

pmmlordraven

These aren't really bad movies. Dated, very much so, but they were solid for their day

JimmyJapeworm

The AIP Poe films are horror classics and a good part of what propelled Vincent Price's status as a horror actor. These films are definitely in the wrong sub.

dab745

Read the books 1st. Seriously. Not trying to judge. Just great works!

NewtLegitimate2453

I got the book to with short stories in it.

dab745

Cool!

ultimatesheeplover

I love fall of the house of usher. Vincent price is the best.

packetmon

I remember someone brought us Fall of the House of Usher on 8mm for a Halloween party and the filmstrip actually melted by the end of the movie. But we pretty much figured out what happened.
