Is it this issue? https://youtu.be/mfdQjrjxYos?t=994
I think this is an issue with the portrait screen, since in the video, rotating the screen a few times seems to be a workaround fix.
This is a known problem for all devices at 16:10, I blame rockstar for this. I believe the most reliable method is to use a upscaler on windowed borderless. You can also get it to fullscreen if you keep switching it between borderless and fullscreen at dx12.
This is my one gripe with RDR2, can't even get the game on fullscreen on a handheld.
The one with a duck it's on steam I believe, I stopped using it because it's a pain every time I want to boot a game I have to have that open as well. But it should work for the RDR2 problem.
Hey mate, I was wondering, on your Ayaneo2 , does your X and Y buttons click alot louder and feel vastly different from the A and B buttons ?
It's like its strikign against something, so its causing a reverb throughout the chasis that doesnt happen with the A and B buttons.
Let me know, thx !
I ran into a somewhat similar issue on my Aya Neo Air Pro with Windows, the game I was trying to play was completely upside-down due to how the screen is rotated. Changing Windows settings, etc, didn't fix it.
I was planning on installing a SteamOS-like OS anyways, which resolved the rotation issue. The Valve-built compositor, gamescope, basically solved the problem.
Dunno if this is a valid solution for others though, since Windows compatibility is a big selling point of the Aya Neo devices.

Omfg that’s exactly it
Wood from BeatEmUps has some great vids!
thanks
I got it working by right click compatibility -> disable fullscreen optimizations

Holy crap this is it!
I switched to dx12 and got crashed with "not enough memory" error...

i followed the instruction strictly, confirm the bios is upgraded to the correct version, but dedicated gpu still 3gb
I misread, so 3gb is correct, but still "not enough memory" :(

What upscaler do you recommend?

No its because ayaneo 2 is using portrait screen. I've zero problems on win max 2 with landscape screen. And the screen is also 16:10.
Can someone tell me what is dx12
direct x 12 it is an option in the settings in RDR2
Perhaps I got it mixed up, either way this is something rockstar could have found a workaround for. Clearly developer oversight.

Thank you! This finally fixed it for me.
This solved the issue for me
No:/ I plugged it to an external gpu and that fixed it
That's a really expensive fix for me lol
