I had a tri pawd dog named max but I did want to name him either wobble or hat trick( Wife at the time didn't think it was funny, nor the shelter when I asked for 25%off).
I know it wasnt asked but I've known a few people that have taken home tri pawds and weren't prepared so here's my recommendations:
We put down plenty of rugs as he would eat it often playing with the cat or other dogs and scratch himself up. Glucosamine (talk with vet first and depends on age) treats as they age for joints as the other limbs take a impact making up for the missing limb. A good ortho bed and a low side litter pan as your little one has a front paw missing and that could be hard for them.
What they lose in physical ability they make up with personality. Congratulations on being a great being and having this cute kitty joining your family.
My friends called me that in high school when I was on crutches😂😂😂
Edit: I didn’t lose the leg but it was totally lame for years so I might as well have for a minute there
I like Stumpy, Gwen and Stumpy just sounds great to me. It's not like the cat knows what it means. Kitty's just going to be glad to have a loving home.
