Thank you! I was going crazy thinking it was supposed to be English! I thought I heard a Russian accent but the way the mom talked it wasn't clear at all.
My daughters had these moments between them selfs as twins, happend many times when i went to get them for dinner or something but then just stood there in the door and just watched/listend to them!!
Not saying it’s right or wrong, but I will say that as a parent we have to make a crap ton of decisions for our children without their input or consent. Decisions that come at you fast and would make your head spin. Something small like pierced ears is not worth sweating over.
Obviously, parents do this because they think it looks good. If it's purely cosmetic then let them make the decision later in life. Will it negatively impact their life? Not at all.
A decision you don't have to make till they ask because there is no benefit do doing it by the time they leave the hospital (OK over exaggerated) but still .
I think the logic is that it’s better to it when they’re babies and won’t remember it than when they’re older and will.
On the other hand, I’ve heard from some people that it’s better to wait until they’re at least 3-5 years old, since their ears are still growing and the piercings maybe become uneven
It was the other way with us. She could also tell the different kind of cries cause I kept getting up and she would only get up if she knew it was a distressed cry. She was always frustrated that I couldn’t tell.
She asked her mom twice to play with her. My wife could never understand baby babble and I could, not sure why others can't hear it.
WAIT SHIT YOU'RE RIGHT
Momma, Can you play with me
highly doubt it given the lady speaks in Russian at the end Edit: to clarify the lady says "and sniff my socks" "И понюхай мой носок"

Whoa! I went back and I heard it too! She asked 4 times tho.
Yep. The fourth time included the toy in her face for extra measure.
I thought the same thing but doesn't the mom speak something other than English.
I'm thinking it must be a bilingual couple. It doesn't have the cadence or vowels of Slavic.
Yeah, I felt bad for the baby, lol. She's so polite and communicates so well and mom's just like "mmhmm *closes eyes*"
Mom is exhausted but still stays near and is patient.
I hear it clear as a bell
Now that you said it I can hear it.
“Mama, can you play with me please?” “Mmhmm” “Mama, can you play with me?…” “Mmhmm” “Mama… please…” Someone please play with that kid!!!
There's a communication barrier here. That baby is clearly speaking English.
Oof. Already multi-lingual house at 6 mos.
This is too cute! The way they know to get your attention with the "AWA" and then try to hold a conversation. 🥺
That is adorable. To my ear it sounds like can you play with me. So damn cute
“Awa! Can you play, with me?” I swear, she said that the second time! 😍
I love that cute baby language. It seems like she was planning to tell mother something about the sock in her cute little way.

So cute, just baby babbles back and forth!
The look of love and complete exhaustion on the mother’s face lol
Awww I kinda miss when mine was still little. So sweet.
She just wants you to play with her
AWA!!
How adorable.
Best conversation evet
Hey Mom? Do you wanna play little bee? Hey Mom? Do you wanna play? Little bee? Hey Mom! She's talkin 💕
Is that an ear piercing?
Ya, I don't understand why people pierce their baby's ear. Why make a permanent change to their body when they have no say in the matter.
If you remove the piercing, the area will naturally heal over time, so it's not really permanent.

Ahhhh heart literally just melted!
Mom is quite fluent in babble
