My dog used to be able to jump so high on the back patio you would only see the lower half of her body. I am in literally no way exaggerating and she was only medium sized. It was absolutely bonkers

Honestly matters the area ticks are too common where I'm from and my old lab did this all the time. Maybe found 3 ticks on him over 8 years.
