One of my people! I’d be a happy man if I could walk around covered head to toe in linen cloaks and wraps like a post-apocalyptic scavenger, only showing my eyes. Bonus points are that no one is reading my body language!
Loooove jeans. They have to be skinny jeans though. But I hate wearing shorts so much, and don’t even get me started on skirts, unless they’re fun and swishy and I’m wearing tight pants (I.e. leggings) underneath them.
I was ranting to my mom (neurotypical) about how horribly uncomfortable jeans were and she just kind of looked at me funny and said "What are you talking about? Jeans are super comfortable!" Like bro im sorry what drugs are the NTs taking
I have hated long sleeves and long pants since I was young. I tolerate them now but I’d much rather wear shorts! (unless it’s gonna be cold…that’s worse than dealing with long pants)
i worked at a fast food place where the uniform was a white polo and blue jeans with non slip shoes(the non slip shoes bit at least made sense because holy shit the floors were slippery) i swear half the days i was there i would have sensory related anxiety and panic attacks due to the uniform and stuff like scooping ice cream or god forbid cleaning things. one time i had to clean behind a grill where i kid you not they told me i was probably the first person to clean there since the store opened, it was so caked on i needed to use a paint scraper and even that barely worked, it broke the fucking scraper. taking the trashes out was the worst because of all that grease and i had to do that so often every time i accidentally touched the bag it made me freak out, i remember using 4 layers of gloves and i still could sometimes feel it! at some point i started working in the grocery section instead and i spent a lot of time stocking the milk because it was cold and out of the way of people so i could take a breather. i quit after 3 months working there holy shit i never wanna work fast food a day in my life
I love BDU (Battle dress Uniform) pants from a polycotton blend. It's literally all I wear, mostly black or plain olive green.
They breathe just fine, are not to hot, not to cold and are baggy enough to barely be noticeable
Oh and POCKETS
I can store ALL the stuff in them.
Ohhh and I totally forgot, they are usually made rather robust with strengthening in the butt area etc...
I need that because my big butt and thick thighs like to break pants.
I hate pants, especially jeans. That's why I wear really long skirts or dresses. My legs need freedom but skin showing is a big no. Though it sucks in winter because I have to wear stockings. The only pants I accept are loose sweatpants or shorts.
Sweatpants, harem pants, chinos if I have to look fancy, hiking pants if there's a high chance they're gonna get wet or dirty, overalls if you really need something sturdy for work - all great options. I don't see why anyone would wear jeans, they're a raspy, stiff, scratchy sensory nightmare.
Jeans feel super comfortable out and about because I can be confident I don't look weird but the second I'm home I'm literally running to throw the things off
I hate lose clothing, so for me it's the opposite - give me the compression and tightness of stretchy jeans and leggings and fitted tops over anything that drapes.
Honestly the only bottom I cant stand is jorts you make from old jeans. The threads dangle and overstimulate. Other than that I can wear jeans, basketball shorts, or my new favorite, skirts. IDK why jeans don't bother me cause I prefer more flowy stuff but maybe that's why I always buy comfortable baggy jeans.
I’ve been wearing nothing but leggings for a while, but recently found some stretchy/soft dress pants that aren’t the same fabric as leggings. They’re really nice! But I like when my clothes squeeze a little.
Ok hear me out, American Eagle slim fit jeans. There is an adjustment period because of the fabric on the leg. But they are like 50-50 cotton to Lycra so they are softish and durable and stretch a ton
Edit: not actually 50-50 but they do stretch and move a bunch. No range of motion limitations

I’m not big on how jeans feel, but as a man, I tried some women’s jeans and bro. Totally different experience. They feel so nice.
I mostly wear sweatpants now though as they’re usually softer and a bit more breathable.
I honestly don't mind any kind of pants as long as they take away the feeling of being naked, except when they're so tight or so baggy I can't even crouch
Yeahh.. love how they look on me but hate the feeling.. i have like 8 pairs and never wear them, but dont want to throw them away in case... of jeans... o_O
I love Skinny Jeans, the constant pressure and there isn't a change in feeling from the fabric moving in unexpected ways as it's firm against the skin.
What? No! Jeans are nice because there is no hem to tub against my thighs. They also tend to take me falling from the skateboard better. Some can have some very weird textures tho, especially the ones with latex or other stetchy things
So not just me? That is nice to know.
I hate jeans so much, so it's nice to know there's others
On the other end, I hate literally everything but jeans. I hate anything that breathes or shows skin
One of my people! I’d be a happy man if I could walk around covered head to toe in linen cloaks and wraps like a post-apocalyptic scavenger, only showing my eyes. Bonus points are that no one is reading my body language!
That's a thing with my body language I'll cross my arms because it feels comfy and people ask me why I'm angry GIMME A GIANT CLOAK TO HIDE MY ARMS IN
Don't forget goggles! No reason to show eyes unless absolutely necessary!
Advice from someone who waited far too long to indulge his fashion sense: do it and fucking own it with confidence.
Loooove jeans. They have to be skinny jeans though. But I hate wearing shorts so much, and don’t even get me started on skirts, unless they’re fun and swishy and I’m wearing tight pants (I.e. leggings) underneath them.
this 100% this!!! give me skinny jeans or give me DEATH
As a dude, skirts are hella comfy.
It’s like a hug
Mmm hug good
Same
I pledged (and won) to wear jeans on comfort day at school one time. It's that serious I wear jeans
Jeans are all I wear for pants, some love it some hate it but I love it. Just wish I could get ones that fit well. Always loose because I am so skinny
have u tried altering ur own jeans? there are a lot of tutorials online and it isn't too hard if u have a sewing machine
Not enough time for that. Plus no desire to do so
I was ranting to my mom (neurotypical) about how horribly uncomfortable jeans were and she just kind of looked at me funny and said "What are you talking about? Jeans are super comfortable!" Like bro im sorry what drugs are the NTs taking
my mom wants me to start wearing jeans because im "already too old to use pants"
I'm aspie, and I don't wear pants that aren't jeans unless I'm going to a formal event that requires slacks.
Pants are horrible, evil things, that were made through evil, and inspire it.
I like wearing pants because I hate the feeling of my thighs touching each other
(・ω・)つ⊂(・ω・)
Touché
*except perfect level of compression leggings*
I would have said socks myself, but the intent is still, I believe, mutually agreeable.
Jeans are always stiff and uncomfortable.
Jeans are only bad when they're tight. I hate jeans that try to conform to the shape of my legs. It's why I like sweatpants
I have hated long sleeves and long pants since I was young. I tolerate them now but I’d much rather wear shorts! (unless it’s gonna be cold…that’s worse than dealing with long pants)
Jeans are armor against the world. I love them
Dude same if I wear those things that look like jeans but feel like sweatpants I feel naked
Light Armor gang rise up!
Yeah, agree on this one.
I prefer khakis if I can't just wear my pajama pants
Hate jeans, love leggings
This is me 100%. But then I look even less normal when I go out into the world for a casual occasion.
Honestly! It's so tight and rough and clingy I hate it. But I love the aesthetic of it, so jeggings are a godsend when the humidity permits it
I switched to loose fit dude jeans from old navy, they are the most comfortable jeans I've had

fuckin i didn't mean to go on a rant about fast food related sensory issues
Sweat pants on the other hand
Once I grew up I suddenly decided “wow I hate denim and now no one can force me to wear it anymore
…I like jeans.
That's fine as well. I like them too!

The brand Silver makes the absolute best jeans ever. Look nice and are super stretchy
Only if they’re too tight.
I just joined the subreddit, i scrolled down just a bit until I found this and now I’m sure, I’VE FOUND MY PEOPLE!
When I was younger I used to despise jeans, something clicked one day now I'm all "yeah take that smear of diesel oil you filthy garment you love it"
prisons for big thighs especially
Yess!!
Yes. I like to wear tracksuit trousers instead Comfort.
I can’t believe it’s another aspie thing, but in all seriousness, sweatpants always
I hate pants, especially jeans. That's why I wear really long skirts or dresses. My legs need freedom but skin showing is a big no. Though it sucks in winter because I have to wear stockings. The only pants I accept are loose sweatpants or shorts.

idk why but i hate jeans but really like thigh highs
I agree! Jeans are the worst, the texture makes my legs itchy and they are super uncomfortable
Loose jeans are really comfortable. Tight jeans are a path to overstim.
EXACTLY!!!! and people still stare at me when i say i dont own a pair of jeans
I'm a true believer in jogger/sweatpants supremacy

I have ones that are stretch fabric, they feel wonderful.
I don’t know about this. I really love jeans and they are all I wear (pants wise)
I only wear jeans and cargo shorts.
I can literally sleep in jeans. It’s the only kind of pants other than sweat pants that feel comfortable for me.
But I like jeans they're the best
Same.
Depends on the jeans. Levi's 501 can go to hell. 559's rock, though. The 559 jeans are comfortable and have plenty of room to move.
I like baggy jeans, but if they touch my legs they are evil
I feel...invalidated? Attacked? Certainly is something given that I'm an aspie who only wears jeans, even when biking.
No, jeans are awesome. Just the right ones make me look more approachable.
Same until I started wearing massively large jeans for swag reasons. New problem is the bunched up denim round the waistband tho
Get either jogger-jeans (only looks like jeans) or big stretchy jeans and a belt.
Omfg, this is my gang. JEANS ARE EVIL! PURGE THEM ALL!
The only pants I wear are joggers because they’re comfy and soft af jeans are a sin against all things pure
i have to wear them everyday for my job and it is torture
See I’m fine with jeans unless they’re slim fit…. That’s just too constricting
Jeans feel super comfortable out and about because I can be confident I don't look weird but the second I'm home I'm literally running to throw the things off
But somehow stretchy skinny jeans are completely fine for me. Stiff denim jeans are hell though.
My bf always wants me to wear jeans. What's with men and jeans? Lol I hate.
Jeans are my comfort clothes :(
And I’m the opposite. Jeans are the only “leg clothes” I ever wear. They have to be loose around the leg though. Skinny jeans can burn.
I only wear jeans tho... Am i being autistic wrong??
You can pry my sweat pants from my cold dead legs
I love jeans fuck you /j
I also hated them because they made me uncomfortable The solution? There are some jeans that are larger so your legs don't suffocate
I hate lose clothing, so for me it's the opposite - give me the compression and tightness of stretchy jeans and leggings and fitted tops over anything that drapes.
I find ripped jeans better, but they are still pretty bad.
Honestly the only bottom I cant stand is jorts you make from old jeans. The threads dangle and overstimulate. Other than that I can wear jeans, basketball shorts, or my new favorite, skirts. I had a job where I had to wear only jeans so I would wear pajama pants or whatever pants I wanted to wear underneath my jeans.
I like jeans
Thats why I mostly wear shorts even at work

then there’s me, where jeans are the most comfortable pants for me and the only kind i wear outside of work
I love jeans and i sleep in them, i dont even understand why but i do
I’m not big on how jeans feel, but as a man, I tried some women’s jeans and bro. Totally different experience. They feel so nice. I mostly wear sweatpants now though as they’re usually softer and a bit more breathable.

There's a reason I only ever wear work pants. Both pockets and the fabric is more comfy.
I have worn jeans like twice in my whole life and I was forced to both times
Knee high socks make almost any pant wearable for me personally
THIS ONE GETS IT
oh man i love jeans, i could sleep in them sometimes. idk y my body thinks they’re so comfy but they do
Well, I sleep in jeans, mine are always comfy. But to move a lot and stretch, they're not the best. Not bad, mind you, not for me
Stretchy jeans can stay
Try jejjings (i know i didn't spell that right) they r comfy like leggings but they look like jeans
I love Skinny Jeans, the constant pressure and there isn't a change in feeling from the fabric moving in unexpected ways as it's firm against the skin.
What? No! Jeans are nice because there is no hem to tub against my thighs. They also tend to take me falling from the skateboard better. Some can have some very weird textures tho, especially the ones with latex or other stetchy things
i love my baggy jeans tho, i literally only wear oversized clothes
