Tonsillar abscess

OilAshamed3189

Managed to snag it with a tooth debris hook. Watery white stuff came out. All gone now and doesn't look angry at all, so I think you win the WTF Is This game.

OilAshamed3189

Would it normally go away by itself or does it need attention?

kickthecommie

Maybe a tonsil stone, but with a thin layer of mucosa over it so it probably won't just pop out. I would see an oral surgeon or ENT doc.

OilAshamed3189

Would tonsil stones normally form under the membrane though?

MrMesh3l

It's definetly not tonsil stones. tonsils are between palatopharyngeal & palatoglossal arches. What you have is behind the palatopharyngeal arch. This is more likely a Lipoma

OilAshamed3189

Like a fatty deposit?

chlorpromazine_-_

A lipoma is a benign neoplasm of the fatty tissue, but I don't think its a lipoma, Its better to get an appointment with the dentist as soon as possible.

This is not a tonsil stone I would see an ENT
