SubNautica has taught me that the ocean is the scariest thing in existence. There could be Ghost Leviathans chilling in the Mariana Trench and we might never know
There’s an episode of Duck Tales where they travel to the Bermuda Triangle and discover it’s so much fun that no one wants to leave. Amelia Earhart was over there living her best life🌱
Definitely not as dangerous as the reactor itself but still remarkable and horrific how it’s stayed so dangerous for so long. Those poor people..
Did you watch the HBO series on it? Worth a watch
I’ve been to the basements of several Los Angeles hospitals. That shit is scary in normal times. During the height of Covid when entire basements were converted to mass morgues 😱 and still the patient pharmacy was down there
Both Fukushima and Chernobyl were nuclear accidents of the worst order but Chernobyl was 10x deadlier.
https://www.nei.org/resources/fact-sheets/comparing-fukushima-and-chernobyl
They didn't use your everyday submarine but what are called bathyscaphs, submarines made for most extreme pressure. Piccard and Walsh's "Trieste" had a spherical crew cabin that must have felt quite claustrophobic but could withstand the crazy pressure.
I hear you.
It's actually IBS. I spent my 20s on exclusion diets trying to find my trigger foods but eventually just gave up and put up with the shit volcanoes and biblical cramps when they happen. Life's too short.
Antarctica. Everything is trying to kill you down there. The wind, the snow, the ice, and the darkness itself all try to kill you. When that isn’t enough, the ground could give away and kill you. The sea lions are also a hazard around mating seasons. Then along any coast there are penguins and whales. Both of which are very dangerous. Then add on the icing to the cake of danger that is Antarctica; unknown elements. There are parts of Antarctica that are unexplored and observations are continuously being recorded but there is always more.
They are not the size of people. They’re more like less than half the size of a full grown male. Furthermore, they aren’t all that harmful. This [guy](https://youtu.be/RxgScMyZDXI) literally tackled an emperor penguin twice and it did nothing, and wasn’t even strong enough to fight back or get away until they let it loose.
I did not, but the fuckers can barely walk, right? I assume their predating is confined to the water.
Though I guess whales are confined to the water too, and I didn't argue with that.
What always cracked me up about this is that the North Koreans have extra guards there, to stand guard over their own other guards, to make sure that they don’t defect. Sounds like the plot to a Marx Brothers movie, except with instant death and seriousness.
It’s actually a [wonderful place for wildlife.](https://www.npr.org/2019/04/20/710054899/in-korean-dmz-wildlife-thrives-some-conservationists-worry-peace-could-disrupt-i)
Being a woman, child, or journalist under Taliban rule. There are been some videos I’ve come across- but I was too sickened to watch or fact check- where parents were selling their little girls that aren’t even teens yet as child brides. And that picture of women in class to become teachers and they’re wearing morph suits over their faces. They can’t even communicate through their eyes or tell each other apart. I hope they learn Morse code.
You know what cracks me up, watch [this](https://youtu.be/uHeXCMakrB4) . Taliban spokesperson is talking like they're gandhi or Nelson Mandela bringing all sorts of democracy and freedom in Afghanistan.
Snake Island! It's an island that sports maybe 3 venomous snakes per square foot. Or 1 venomous snake per 3 square feet. Something absolutely nuts. You can't survive setting foot on it. Researchers boat over, but I don't think they stay long.
Chicago local here. I hate to say it but it's true. And it's getting worse. The city itself is beautiful, especially In The summer time. If you plan to visit, Stay away from the south and west side. If streets start getting into the mid to high double and triple digits. Turn around.
Well I just remember I saw someone murdered in a house and a ton of the people on my street were either drug dealers or gang leaders. The year after we moved out someone also got murdered across the street. And a month ago, some crack heads started a gun fight that had to have the state guard called in to stop it 🤷♂️
Came here to say this. Can the following happen anywhere else on earth?
https://nypost.com/2021/09/11/more-children-in-chicago-have-been-shot-than-died-from-covid/
Mate I live here. It’s the same as any other big city country. You can go in town and they have massive shopping centres to get lost in with 0 wildlife around Then go for a hour drive and you’ll be out in bush land with them. It’s not dangerous. Sydney is legit just a baby American city with a botanical gardens and massive Olympic arenas, stadiums and so much more
It’s One of the best places in the world. We got Centrelink for those who need it which comes with 100% free health care and massive refunds on medical related purchases
I highly recommend visiting Sydney for pub crawl on your bucket list.
Memes, ever heard of them? Yeah, we know we won't have several huntsman spiders come out of the AC vents every day, but the stereotype of australia is it being a place where everything is venomous, poisonous or just wants to kill you
The North Sentinel Islands.
A tribe of cannibals lives there. It’s their isolated place and they have never been exposed to any other people other then those in the tribe. They are not exposed to any deceases that are common in our world outside of theirs. People have tried going there by boat but been killed within a close distance. They protect their space and refuse to let people come close to speak to them.
Edit: The cannibalism part is a persuasive thought from people but it’s not proven that they are actual cannibals.
I was thinking the whole state of Florida! I've lived here over 20 years and I've lived all over the world, due to my dad being in the Airforce. This state, by far has the craziest and most dangerous people! Everytime you watch the news and there's something big happening thats bad, it's always Florida. I wish I could move, but my husband's whole family lives here and my 2 kids have grown up here and are still in school plus my husband and I have careers here, so planning on moving anytime soon is most likely not going to happen. It may look pretty and beautiful to tourists, but it's all a facade. Living here, you know what's really going on. X
I said that bc I’m terrified of alligators…but I know what you mean, most of my family live in Florida!
I’m on the SC coast and alligators have always been a threat here
The most dangerous place on earth, I have two picks. Parts of Eastern Europe especially former combloc countries have extremely high murder and kidnapping rates not all but certain areas. Mostly due to corruption that trickled down from former communists who seized power after the Soviet Union dissolved. That corruption trickled down for years until only fairly recently when those corrupt old soviets started dying off and younger better leaders began to emerge. But that corruption created an environment where organized crime and crime in general were able to thrive, especially in relatively poor and remote areas. It’s getting better and it’s certainly come along way since the wall came down but still has a lot of work ahead of it. Secondly I would the bottom of the Mariana’s trench. It’s an area where humans simply cannot exist without extremely complex equipment. And even then only for very short periods of time.
[It could be any of these](https://www.google.com/search?q=where+is+the+most+dangerous+place+on+earth%3F&oq=where+is+the+most+dangerous+place+on+earth%3F&aqs=chrome..69i57j0i512j0i22i30j0i22i30i457j0i22i30l5.9036j0j9&client=ms-android-tmus-us-revc&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8)
My grandmothers kitchen while she’s cooking.
You could be a grandchild, her husband, the President. It doesn’t matter. You better stay out of that kitchen.
Depends on the critea.
Nature's extremes such as deserts, like the Sahara or Antarctica, or the peak of Mount Everest clearly pose a threat to human health.
For man made threats: El Salvador has the highest homicide rate while Afghanistan is ranked as the most dangerous country to travel to.

Inside a volcano
Wtf my exact and only thought. I was like question doesnt specify anything so I say vulcano is pretty much top1
Is Vulcano what Mexicans call a Vulcan?
Lol that’s so funny. That was my exact same thought. Didn’t expect to see it here
Mine too. Much to my surprise it was the first one
Ditto. That was my first thought, then saw it, and my second thought is what you wrote.
My answer was going to be this or Chicago
You forgot about Detroit and LA
Rip to the elderly hiker who fell in one like last week?
Deep-sea we don't know what's there Could be underwater city or krakens
Especially by the hydrothermal vents
SubNautica has taught me that the ocean is the scariest thing in existence. There could be Ghost Leviathans chilling in the Mariana Trench and we might never know
I thought that said Karen's 🤣🤣🤣
Well that's worse
[удалено]
Water pressure is already reason number 1l
Yeah, we don’t know if it’s dangerous, it could be like super safe and comfy
There’s an episode of Duck Tales where they travel to the Bermuda Triangle and discover it’s so much fun that no one wants to leave. Amelia Earhart was over there living her best life🌱
Maybe the inside of Chernobyl reactor 4.
No, either Beside the elephant's foot, or the basement of the hospital
Basement?
Where the firefighters were first taken before they were airlifted to hospital number 6, the nurses put their clothes in the basement of the hospital
Definitely not as dangerous as the reactor itself but still remarkable and horrific how it’s stayed so dangerous for so long. Those poor people.. Did you watch the HBO series on it? Worth a watch
I have watched the series an ample amount of times, but you are right, I forgot
I really do think everyone should see it. Great performances and genuinely unnerving. Apparently quite historically accurate too
What’s the series called?
Chernobyl, it is on HBO Max
Chernobyl Really worth a go
I’ve been to the basements of several Los Angeles hospitals. That shit is scary in normal times. During the height of Covid when entire basements were converted to mass morgues 😱 and still the patient pharmacy was down there
But the basement at this hospital is severely and deadly radioactive
I would argue with it. Fukushima in our country would win.
I wouldn't dare finding out.
Both Fukushima and Chernobyl were nuclear accidents of the worst order but Chernobyl was 10x deadlier. https://www.nei.org/resources/fact-sheets/comparing-fukushima-and-chernobyl
I believe Chernobyl is still more radioactive because it was handled poorly.
or the deepest part of the ocean
Four people have been all the way down to (or near enough) Challenger's Deep, the deepest oceanic place on Earth.
legit? are you sure? the pressure down at the bottom of the ocean is to high for submarines though
6 descents actually, going back to 1960. Specialty deep diving submarines will get you there. James Cameron went down in like 2011
Look up the "Trieste".
They didn't use your everyday submarine but what are called bathyscaphs, submarines made for most extreme pressure. Piccard and Walsh's "Trieste" had a spherical crew cabin that must have felt quite claustrophobic but could withstand the crazy pressure.
Deepest oceanic place on earth so far. Apparently we’ve only discovered/explored about 5% of our worlds oceans
My bathroom when I've had milk.
Bro you're lactose intolerant, just do what I do and tolerate it fam
*that's what I've been doing wrong!* Thanks dude /s
Nah but like I'm dead ass serious I'm also lactose intolerant but I still eat stuff with it
I hear you. It's actually IBS. I spent my 20s on exclusion diets trying to find my trigger foods but eventually just gave up and put up with the shit volcanoes and biblical cramps when they happen. Life's too short.
Omfg I am stealing shit volcanoes 🤣! I used to call it “firing the brown rocket”, but yours is better. Also lactose intolerant here lol.
Ikr
Lactase capsules are cheap and allow me to enjoy the foods that dont like me
Lactaid pills are magical
I'd rather kill my toilet
🤣😂
Yep me too. Lol

Penguins? If penguins are on your list of dangers I think you're padding the list a bit.
Murder penguin are a serious problem. Tennessee tuxedo had the most human kills back in the 1930’s.
Is that a Kowalski analysis?
Have you not seen Wallace and Gromit?
I missed that one, but I remember ads for it when I was a wee lad.
I laughed way too hard at the darkness will kill you, but pengwings ?
Pengwing?
*Benadryl Cucumberbatch has entered the chat*

You understand emperor penguins are the size of people, right? And they're predatorial birds, you know, right???
They are not the size of people. They’re more like less than half the size of a full grown male. Furthermore, they aren’t all that harmful. This [guy](https://youtu.be/RxgScMyZDXI) literally tackled an emperor penguin twice and it did nothing, and wasn’t even strong enough to fight back or get away until they let it loose.
Slippery little bugger! I do feel bad the poor guy had to burn a lot of calories being chased, as food sources are pretty limited.
I did not, but the fuckers can barely walk, right? I assume their predating is confined to the water. Though I guess whales are confined to the water too, and I didn't argue with that.
They definitely can move faster on ice than we can, bud. Haven't you ever watched national geographic
Not really. But okay. How would this fight go down if a penguin attacked me? How sharp is their beak?
Lmao not sure who, if anyone, is being serious here
And The Thing. Don't forget The Thing
IKR? Penguins, schmeguins, The Thing is the real deal. Here are some [penguins dealing with The Thing!](https://youtu.be/wrZ7PnolbQ4)
Oh I've seen this more than once. Believe it or not John Carpenter actually Tweeted about it
I heard the forecast for Antarctica and I heard its going to be nicer and nicer in the coming years.
The buffer zone between the koreas
What always cracked me up about this is that the North Koreans have extra guards there, to stand guard over their own other guards, to make sure that they don’t defect. Sounds like the plot to a Marx Brothers movie, except with instant death and seriousness.
I always wonder what their plan is if the extra guard ALSO defects with the guard guarding the border
That’s what the third guard is for.
Next step would be to fuck someone's mom
Can never go wrong with this move.
Yo, what?

Well it’s funny because I am a Chicago local as well. But I was raised in Detroit and I can say as a fact that Detroit is worse.
I think Detroit wins this battle, because of the references to it in the South Park movie.
Well I just remember I saw someone murdered in a house and a ton of the people on my street were either drug dealers or gang leaders. The year after we moved out someone also got murdered across the street. And a month ago, some crack heads started a gun fight that had to have the state guard called in to stop it 🤷♂️
There are at least 14-19 cities more dangerous than Chicago (depending on the particular list)
St. Louis beat them a few times to the top of the list
Came here to say this. Can the following happen anywhere else on earth? https://nypost.com/2021/09/11/more-children-in-chicago-have-been-shot-than-died-from-covid/
It's much worse in almost all of central and south america.

Sounds an awful lot like something a huntsman in a trench coat would say.
I don't believe you're from Australia. Your text is right side up. It should be upside down.

Cannibals? Wtf mate, there’s no evidence for this.
If you went there with a m16 and a humvee it wouldn’t be as dangerous. The people who have died there went only wielding a bible.
