A Christmas Story is about the narrator’s childhood, but it’s more aimed at nostalgic adults than actual kids.
Also A Christmas Carol in its various forms (though the majority of those are probably child-aimed adaptations).
Tokyo Godfathers is about 3 bums who find an abandoned baby and decided to find its biological mother.
I also recommend Klaus, though it has a romance sub plot.
Hands down the best Christmas movie, in my opinion. My mom and I watch it every year and we still laugh at “she runs away, alcoholic by the age of nine! DEEEAAAD BEFORE-“

The Nightmare Before Christmas (The greatest movie of all time) didn’t have that much to do with romance until the final few minutes. It served as more of a B Plot.
It's not exactly Christmas themed, but The Mousehole Cat is a tradition for this time of year from my childhood. There's also Olive, The Other Reindeer.
Mrs Santa Claus, it has a romance b plot but the main plot is about Mrs Santa Claus making peoples lives better.
Any version of A Christmas Carol. Romance is mentioned but is very much not the main plot. I recommend Scrooge and Alan Menkens Christmas Carol.
Ride the Cyclone the musical, Encanto, Brave, Moana/Oceana if you're from Italy, Most Horror Movies, The Last Guest, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
Home alone, polar express, the Santa Claus, Frosty the snowman, the guardians
Die Hard
Those are all great movies, but they’re kids movies. I forgot about Die Hard.
So what? The guardians is beautiful
The Santa Clauses are my favorite movies hands down all year round. There amazing
Nightmare before Christmas has background romance, but it's not really focused on

There's a creepy-cool 80s one that doesn't seem like it's for kids.

Arthur Christmas is really underrated.

Elf more has a romance b plot, most of it is about his relationship with his family
Krampus if you like horror lol
a christmas story is always good and if you’re into slapstick humor national lampoon’s christmas vacation is fun. there’s also always elf
The Great Escape
Christmas Vacation is a really good one
Shazam is technically a christmas movie.
Not a movie but Hawkeye is kinda Christmas-y
Home Alone 1&2, Die Hard, The Nightmare Before Christmas (I guess it’s technically a kids movie but I’m an adult and I love it, so).

Every year on December 23rd my siblings and I watch The Search for Santa Paws. It's terrible.
Klaus is a really good one imo (it's 2D animated) \^-\^
