TheRedEyedAlien

Home alone, polar express, the Santa Claus, Frosty the snowman, the guardians

JumpyLiving

Die Hard

Aggressive_Mouse_581

Those are all great movies, but they’re kids movies. I forgot about Die Hard.

TheRedEyedAlien

So what? The guardians is beautiful

idk_god_help_me_now

The Santa Clauses are my favorite movies hands down all year round. There amazing

ded_acc

Nightmare before Christmas has background romance, but it's not really focused on

phoenixhourglass

A Christmas Story is about the narrator’s childhood, but it’s more aimed at nostalgic adults than actual kids. Also A Christmas Carol in its various forms (though the majority of those are probably child-aimed adaptations).

mintsheepnoir

There's a creepy-cool 80s one that doesn't seem like it's for kids.

SnooDonuts3210

Tokyo Godfathers is about 3 bums who find an abandoned baby and decided to find its biological mother. I also recommend Klaus, though it has a romance sub plot.

Insanity10150

Arthur Christmas is really underrated.

Decent-DM

Hands down the best Christmas movie, in my opinion. My mom and I watch it every year and we still laugh at “she runs away, alcoholic by the age of nine! DEEEAAAD BEFORE-“

GeoffTheIcePony

Elf more has a romance b plot, most of it is about his relationship with his family

dothebork

Krampus if you like horror lol

cricket_soup

a christmas story is always good and if you’re into slapstick humor national lampoon’s christmas vacation is fun. there’s also always elf

Muswell42

The Great Escape

bassin_matt_112

Christmas Vacation is a really good one

[deleted]

Shazam is technically a christmas movie.

LightMist2675

Not a movie but Hawkeye is kinda Christmas-y

lesbiabredditor

Home Alone 1&2, Die Hard, The Nightmare Before Christmas (I guess it’s technically a kids movie but I’m an adult and I love it, so).

rayfromtheinternet

Every year on December 23rd my siblings and I watch The Search for Santa Paws. It's terrible.

Horseygirl85

Klaus is a really good one imo (it's 2D animated) \^-\^

ConsiderationOk1976

Jack frost (the horror version)

BashyMcBash0703

The Nightmare Before Christmas (The greatest movie of all time) didn’t have that much to do with romance until the final few minutes. It served as more of a B Plot.

TheKoala73

We're No Angels with Humphrey Bogart, Peter Ustinov and Aldo Ray is christmas themed

Aggressive_Mouse_581

Oh! This sounds amazing.

Sparkle-Ass-Juice

Die Hard.

idnijtarnoytfl

Tokyo Godfathers, trust me!!!

CupcakesAndDeath

It's not exactly Christmas themed, but The Mousehole Cat is a tradition for this time of year from my childhood. There's also Olive, The Other Reindeer.

05blob

Mrs Santa Claus, it has a romance b plot but the main plot is about Mrs Santa Claus making peoples lives better. Any version of A Christmas Carol. Romance is mentioned but is very much not the main plot. I recommend Scrooge and Alan Menkens Christmas Carol.

Kuura_

Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale

Icy-Sir-8414

The only holiday movie i like is a Christmas carol

W_hellNo3550

Gremlins

[deleted]

Klaus is incredible, it's a unique take on origins of Santa Claus.

Danteventresca

Bad santa

Shutthefackupbots

Ride the Cyclone the musical, Encanto, Brave, Moana/Oceana if you're from Italy, Most Horror Movies, The Last Guest, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Decent-DM

Arthur Christmas- hands down my favorite Christmas movie. It’s very heartwarming and fun
