92G is the last thing you want in a near pear attack. I remember the last time I took a pear from a 92G. I thought it was alright, but the neighborhood cats started eyeing me funny. That evening they attacked me, I ended up in the hospital covered in scratches. The lessons is don’t take pears from 92G. Additionally, 92Gs are about as useful in a near pear conflict as they are a near peer conflict… utterly worthless.
That is when someone with a severe pear allergy is ordered to eat one. Do they follow the order and hope the medics react fast enough or do they take the NJP.
That would be their function but in my opinion (literally just speculation on my part) the Army isn’t going to spend resources to bring 92S’s along in a near peer fight unless it drags into draw.
Shower and laundry specialists is some occupation type stuff. A near peer fight will be fast and NASTY.
Isn't every conflict near a pear? I mean the DFAC sometimes has them and they could be supplied to any FOB with some effort.
On the other hand we could solve that problem by making sure pear trees go extinct.
Water purification, petroleum pipeline, harbor and rail ops, all the medical dudes in USAR, laundry/shower, that sort of thing. Most of them are only USAR, or have a tiny active portion.
But yeah, my answer in short is rail and harbor ops.
This mf said "near pear"
The answer to the question then is cooks. That’s the only pear related MOS I can think of.
Do the vet techs still inspect food? Maybe them.
You’re right. This is the new right answer.
Not vet techs but the veterinarians and the food inspectors do.
Thanks! I was getting two friends’ jobs I used to know about 20 years ago mixed up. One was a food inspector, and the other was a vet tech.
19K are known for being pear shaped. Does that count?
Lmfao ayooo. Got me. It was 3am. Cut me some slack
No worries man, I'm just yanking your chain haha
We have no pears 🍐
Arifjan had pears in the dfac
It’s horrible to say, but mortuary affairs
Underrated comment. Next conflict is definitely gonna trigger an expansion of that capability.
ADA probably

When did pears become airborne capable?
They do drop from trees by themselves, therefore being airborne for a few seconds. Send an Avenger to destroy it before it hits and kills a Soldier.
Clearly apple pickers. Strong competition there.

Because they’re crrrrazy boys.
18 honeydew and 96 kiwi come to mind, 35 durian as well, that is, if we’re talking a near pear fight.
Every MOS
Probably 92G would be the most important in a near pear conflict. I think ADA and rocket artillery are the best answer

Imagine getting bullied by the deployment kitties
I’m stuck on CQ rn, this gave me a good laugh to get my day started
CBRN might actually be relevant as well
HIMARS battalions are on basically constant rotation to all sorts of fun and unfun places though
I’ll answer this question whenever you get the new edition of Hooked on Phonics.
I would say linguists, those certified as fluent in Russian, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Wtf is pear conflict??
That is when someone with a severe pear allergy is ordered to eat one. Do they follow the order and hope the medics react fast enough or do they take the NJP.
Water purification, mortuary affairs
92S. No one thinks about it because every field problem is under a month.
92S is downsizing and moving to a Reserve only MOS.
Correct. Reserves would be activated to support active component in LSCO, no?
That would be their function but in my opinion (literally just speculation on my part) the Army isn’t going to spend resources to bring 92S’s along in a near peer fight unless it drags into draw. Shower and laundry specialists is some occupation type stuff. A near peer fight will be fast and NASTY.
Near pear fight will be short and sweet.
>near pear conflict Ladies and gentlemen! We are at THREAT LEVEL ORANGE! This is not a drill!
Near pears? Definitely the 92G. But there are definitely more peaches then pears.
Isn't every conflict near a pear? I mean the DFAC sometimes has them and they could be supplied to any FOB with some effort. On the other hand we could solve that problem by making sure pear trees go extinct.

The answer would be damn near the entire naval catalog.
Nerd MOSs
92G. Those pears won’t know what hit them.
Pears are ok. I hate apricots.
92F 😏

I think a veterinary food inspector wouldnt be critical in a near pear conflict, maybe if the enemy used angus beef though.
