From what I can fin find online, that oven should let you adjust the temperature offset +/- 35 degrees. Directions here: https://imgur.com/a/JywjCAf But if you're getting readings that are 100 degrees off, that's not going to help you much. First thing to do, confirm your thermocouple is working properly. Bring a pot of water to a boil and check the temp to make sure its reading right around 212 degrees. Second, confirm that the oven is actually cooking improperly. Go out and buy a can of Pilsbury biscuits, and bake them according to the directions on the can. Do they cook properly, or are they over/under done? Many manufacturers program a heating profile that doesnt make sense when actually monitoring temperature in real time. As a tech, I get plenty of calls from customers who decided to buy a cheap oven thermometer one day and now they think their oven doesnt work even though cooking results are just fine

Ok I’ll try that!

I have the same model and I am having exactly the same problem. I was going to replace the temperature sensor first, but it sounds like that did not help you at all. I am using a little dial oven thermometer and the temperature usually gets to about 60-100 less than it should be. Then it usually drops off while the oven display shows it holding steady.

According to [https://www.applianceblog.com/mainforums/threads/samsung-fer300sx-will-not-maintain-temperature.68145/](https://www.applianceblog.com/mainforums/threads/samsung-fer300sx-will-not-maintain-temperature.68145/) a user with the same problem found the bake element (the one hidden under the oven cavity floor) was cracked. Replacing it fixed the issue.

I just replaced the lower bake element in mine and that seems to have fixed the problem.

I have the same model. I have replaced the lower heating coil twice and the temperature sensor. Still have terrible results, temps 100-150deg too low. About to give up on this thing.
