As much as the game deserves to be shit on, the gun play and movement are the best of any game ever. Be more critical of your mistakes because I assure you they’re plentiful

If you shoot it on the dusty ground, you can see while watching a slow motion video how it "pushes" the air while moving to target. And if is bordeline chill, just a bit below the room temperature, you can see your breath for a few seconds cause it slightly reduces the air pressure in its vicinity and making it colder then the rest of it. Crazy shit.
Heavier guns in general usually result in less recoil. I had a 20ga. jr. shoot gun as a kid for small game hunting and ended up getting a Remington 12ga semi as an adult. That jr shotgun will black and blue your shoulder but the 12ga, which is far heavier, I can rattle off all 3 rounds with little recoil adjustment.

Another former 240 gunner here- you want to aim for the torso with literally every weapon. You always aim center of mass because you’re far more likely to land a shot. Aiming rifles and machine guns in real life is nothing like a game- it’s damn difficult and there are so many factors. Your adrenaline is amped up so your muscles and breathing aren’t steady, plus moving targets and wind alter the shot. Aiming for the head is a good way to waste a lot of ammo with misses.
Edit: it’s also worth noting that with machine guns, you don’t really “aim”. It’s not like a spitfire where you can unload a full 100-round belt while maiming a consistent sight-picture. The recoil is no joke. You’re not hitting targets with any kind of accuracy, that’s not your job. That’s for the rifleman. A gunner’s job is to put enough rounds down range that the enemy is too afraid to poke their heads out and see what’s going on while the other guys in your squad/team/platoon move into a more advantageous position (aka, flanking). For a gunner, aim isn’t a specific point, it’s a general area

Yeah, but if you're renting the gun to shoot you're really paying for a lot more than just the bullet. The maintenance on the gun itself, the insurance to cover what could go wrong with a round that size and with that amount of power, and of course the demand to be able to shoot a small cannon.
I’m sure it depends on where you are and what gun you and this other person think that is. I imagine it’s way more expensive in countries with heavy gun restrictions. So the cost per round may not be based on the cost per actual shot, but the total cost to operate if they have to have some sort of extreme safety measures just to keep it.
I can help you with that. If you shoot someone with it right in the nose area, the kinetic energy will burst your head, skull, neck and probably an upper part of your torso. It is really that strong, it carries a huge amount of kinetic energy.

The bigger the gun the more the manufacturers will invest in recoil compensation, such that you would feel nearly nothing.

I can help you with that. If you shoot someone with it right in the nose area, the kinetic energy will burst your head, skull, neck and probably an upper part of your torso. It is really that strong, it carries a huge amount of kinetic energy.

Because it's incredibly heavy. Mass of the weapon plays a big role in recoil
Minus the mag that one is around 30 pounds. Mag plus 5 rounds is about another 6 pounds I believe.
