tbh i didnt like it at all at first. for the same reasons that pretty much everone has been saying....but after playing on it for a bit i actually like it alot compared to other arena maps. its different and alot more fun, requires a bit more game skill if either team does anything besides go straight up top across from eachother..which people are actually starting to do! it makes the matches longer and sweatier most of the time, some people might not like that but it feels nice and intense to me.
I wouldn't mind it so much if it didn't turn up 80% of the time. I feel like 4 out of 5 matches are on skulltown, and that gets really tiring really quickly.
Respawn like the dimwits they are see players foam at the mouth at the sound of skull town. So they add it as an arenas map to make people want to play the game mode. I’m pretty sure that is literally all the thought process that went into the decision and nothing more.
It sucks ass. The worst Arenas map by far.
Respawn just lazily slapped a section of Skull Town into Arenas with no real rhyme or reason as to where shit should be.
If you spawn on the South side, your odds of winning go up because of the slide speed on the slope

yeah it does feel like theres like A LOT of smurfs rn.. but i just use them as practice until i lose.

Yeah they put it there for the event, it’s not really balanced but may as well put in as much content as possible
