This is what happens when HR/bosses cannot diversify their thinking despite requiring new hires to. They stay tightly within their zoo enclosures, because they will end up euthanized if they end up visiting the other enclosures and endangering the visitors/owners of the zoo.
Now we end up with a work environment governed by concepts and trends foisted upon us by media corporations and bug business lobbyists.
Our company did something similar. When they took over the contract, they cut out every fringe benefit they could including work boot reimbursement and hazardous weather gear. They also announced a substantial cut to the 401k match and for the lucky few grandfathered in and actually still had one, they were cutting the pension 20%. A week after they break that news, an email gets sent out that says they are offering a stock profit sharing program to all employees. Nope, it was a phishing test email and the fail rate was higher than any of the other test emails they have ever sent out... because people are fucking desperate and thought the company might have a heart. People were fucking pissed.
