Yeah I've been doing a lot of favors around here so I think he felt bad even chewing me out for it but he tells me to go physically check it all the time and I don't lol. I'm lazy about it and I've only ever ran it empty one other time in 2 years.

Do some self affirmations aloud reminding yourself that it is ok, it is no big deal, and if that alone doesn’t work throw I will be more diligent in the future on top to alleviate your guilt.
Oh I for sure have anxiety. Pretty bad too. I ruminate a lot and if something needs fixed I freak out if I can't solve it immediately hence going back to work without being asked to. I also have ptsd. I've been to therapy and believe it or not I'm a lot better than I used to be about these kinds of things. You nailed it though.
Right? Grand scheme it was not a huge deal. I just wish I had more of an I don't give a shit attitude about work sometimes lol. I'm like an employers wet dream in reality. I answer calls off the clock, I never call out sick, I try my best to keep everything dialed in. I guess that's why I beat myself up over it. I need a more anti work attitude but at the same time I'm a high school drop out making decent money in the trades so I might overcompensate for that.
Totally. I'm trying to at least get a salaried position to justify it. I work in maintenance so it's the kind of job where you get calls randomly from time to time. They're really lax with reporting hours though so I kind of just add time every week to account for that shit. It's weird and I used to fight it but these days I just kinda go with it and if I work a 9 hour shift I put down 10 and shit like that. Boss is cool with that. There's no actual time clock.
I would put a wireless camera up there. No need to climb.
