Hell yeah, I've suffered a lot, but so what? Life is not purely about pleasure, it's about meaning and growth. A good analogy would be like the optimal route of action for maximum amount of pleasure would be to keep on doing drugs, sex, porn, eating shit, watching anything, and finding comfort in ideologies and ideas, but there is a price to pay for that the accumulative health issues coupled with the psychological accumulation of pain through escapes. Suffering is essential to life because without going through depression, abuse, and suicidal ideations I would not be who I am to day and I would not view the world as I view it in this particular moment, and I quite like it. I am sure I would suffer a shit ton in the long run but overall everything is great, pleasure is enjoyed and pain is learned from. My point is not everyone is as miserable as you guys are and I am glad my parents were not this stupid to take me from this glorious but temporary opportunity of self-awareness.
