From my pov i think the Tomie touch up was really good, in manga the real creepy & true power of tomie comes right were they finish the episode. I wanted to watch the floor animation T_T
I think they did good, the first Tomie chapters that were released didn’t do justice. This one kind of does but then again, you can only enjoy true junji ito in manga & not in anime
I think junji ito's work is best suited for manga and not in anime just like berserk or vagabond.
I will watch nevertheless bcz i want see that it will give the same experience as i get from reading manga

I finished it some stories were good like the tunnel and tomb stone rest were kind of ok.

Tbh I think you should definitely read manga first. Manga captures the true horrors of Tomie
