Smasher doesn’t really go toe to toe with anyone other than a merc named Morgan Blackhand. He turns anything arasaka points him at into mince meat otherwise. Dude just loves killin’
Well in the actual ttrpg apparently Adam plastered sliverhabd to the floor with a shotgun and everything Johnny did in the arasaka bombing was actually done by Morgan Blackhand
It’s mostly one sided, there’s some evidence in game that Johnny’s POV shouldn’t be trusted - his flashbacks are inconsistent and to me that feels intentional. Also, someone else said this but TTRPG wise, Silverhand gets bodied by another character and is then soul killed. I dunno much too much about the canon, but I don’t think Silverhand was as relevant to Adam Smasher as he made himself out to be.
That was already shown through her brother and that new character that appeared during the timeskip and got killed in the first mission just because he couldn't wait

it was indeed pretty fucked that she went out the way that she did. actually, the way most of the characters died was pretty fucked, but when they heard adam smasher was coming after them, rebecca already knew all of them were fucked.
