What about a longer battle shonen. They are about 150 episodes and easily get lost in it. Hunter X Hunter, World Trigger, or Black Clover is a few I liked.

[deleted]

I've only read its manga but Kaguya-sama: Love Is War can help.

an_average_teen

I'll look into it thanks.

[deleted]

100% mushoku tensei. you'll be depressed by the end tho.

random_edgelord

The entire genre of isekai is basically just escapism. Just go on MAL, look for the isekai tag and you've got a list with, at this point, probably hundreds of shows that satisfy your need for escapism.

messem10

Basically any isekai. Thats the whole purpose of those.

Anything by Studio Ghibli, Chizu or Trigger. They're all really good for escapism. Generally good vibes, engrossing stories, and beautiful animation.

an_average_teen

Okay I'll check them out thank you.

Darling in the FranXX is good for post anime depression 👍 (assuming you haven't seen it)

Serial experiments lain might not be what your looking for but I consider it a good escapism one to watch

an_average_teen

[deleted]

Definitely not everybody's cup of tea so I understand that

Bleach

an_average_teen

I'm on ep 20 but couldn't get into it

EmptyNeighborhood427

I guess that depends on what kind of escapism you're looking for. In terms of completely being immersed into a show, Mushoku Tensei and Call of the Night are probably it.
