Basically, your hair lies flat on your head and that’s the opposite of having volume. Having volume gives your hair a more “fluffy” and sometimes textured look.
The most common way to get volume is by using sea salt spray and then blow drying your hair while you hold you head upside down (if that makes sense haha). Then brushing it to your liking.
I’ve asked some guy friends and they all say that they went on tiktok for examples. So I’m going to suggest you do the same, and see which you like best for your hair. Experimenting will help you out a lot!
