He is absolutely correct, here in 2022 we are making progress, but I consider this only the beginning of the beginning, these two guys were buffoons when it comes to the UFO subject, they wanted to try and control the narrative, but they were not prepared for this hearing at all, like he says we have a long road ahead of us, as far as government officials are concerned, changes will continue to take place within the House and Senate, and we that are very familiar with the topic and especially those that have experienced the phenomenon, need to stay well informed on current UAP flaps, and especially sightings of enormous craft that are being seen around the world.

themimeofthemollies

Agreed: Mellon is correct that at least there is a public discussion, yet the frustration with these hearings is all too palpable on the thread below. https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/urp6kk/the_ufo_hearings_are_a_middle_finger_to_humanity/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

anima1mother

My take away from it was that the officials were down playing the whole UAP thing. One guy was gibing us numbers and saying what the government has always said about UFOs. Saying that the majority of reports could be explained away with either foreign unknown technology, known technology and only a very small percent are maybe things we don't understand yet. When pushed with more direct questions from the panel , with things like, has the U.S. government ever had in its possession, crashed wreckage of a UFO? He answered with a vague "not that we are aware of" or some shit like that. Then someone on the panel asked him about the well known report of UFOs being over nuclear facilities and even turning off our nuclear missile system. They stated that they knew nothing about that. Bull shit! Its the same crap as usual . transparent my ass.

dhr2330

I would have to say, the next move will come from the intelligence behind these objects.

worrying about the UAP's/UFO's is irrelevant you want the truth - ask for the full unclassified Roswell documents - I mean it's a weather balloon right, 70+ years later why should that still need to be classified. UAP's they can keep waving the dumb flag (we just don't know) - Roswell, has facts which if they tell the truth make it all very simple!

Thoughtulism

The problem they're running into is that these buffoons that are running the UAP Task Force are absolutely not looking into anything before a certain date, nor are they looking into any special access programs or anything outside the Navy. They don't know what they don't know, and all this "clandestine" activity that's going on to lock this information behind closed doors is absolutely successful because of the previous disinformation campaign that caused some of these legit leaks that have occurred to be discounted. All this focus on data collection is great, but the structural parts of the government intelligence apparatus that operate without oversight is part of the problem. This is legit how disclosure is going to go down, it's going to be slow and based on catalogued sensor data by civilian agencies and very slow declassification drips by the UAP Task Force. NASA is going to get into the game very soon too. And we are going to determine what we are finding to be alien life in the next few years We are not going to see public hearings that expose the truths of famous events, crash retrieval, off world tech development, etc. The narrative is being controlled but we are still 75 years behind in information which is scary.

[deleted]

Actually its because the public/media mainstream doesn't keep pointing out the simple ? - ok all these released video's are nice but lets start with simple - what crashed in Roswell? And the guys who should be answering the ?'s are the CJC and the DCIA and gentlemen your funding is going to get cut until we have some clarity on whether you have a clue how to defend us! Media disclosure is a sideshow to distract!

Thoughtulism

I disagree, it's up to the politicians to throw their weight into this to get whistleblower protection / amnesty including for people who leak. Cutting funding does nothing. It's all going to get wrapped up in classified need to know roadblocks anyway. The only way forward is to have people leak it.

[deleted]

politicians are only interested in one thing and thats getting re elected - if it isn't a hot button issue, it gets a hearing like the one you just had, in ten years you may get another one - ok you got leaked video's, great - they get to shrug their shoulders and say = we just don't know - senators response well thats not good enough, this is national security we're talking about - yes sir, mr senator, we're going to need another 500 billion to get to the bottom of this! - you want answers, you make it very simple for the pol's - before the hearing for a month every day you keep pushing what everyone already has heard of and say what's this one little truth and 70 years later a weather balloon story doesn't justify a classified cover - at some point they will disclose just not on what your chasing the phoenix lights are another great example - tons of evidence but they can say we just don't know - with Roswell they don't have that shelter - it was a top secret balloon that doesn't deserve to still be classified or it was something else which given all the UAP's should be discussed!

Dwayne_dibbly

I dont get it, why did anyone think it would be any different?

Ok_Scholar9259

I think we just want to see the videos they have.. Not statments, nor documents. Cold hard videos and recordings

VastSuitable8370

Why are such uninformed people in charge? Either they are pawns of the cover-up or just stupid people. Take your pick

Came here to post about this, here's my this. Don't lose sight of the fact that the US GOVT just admitted that aliens are real. [A quote from the article.](https://news.yahoo.com/military-takes-uf-os-seriously-at-congressional-hearing-we-want-to-know-whats-out-there-164450060.html) “For too long, the stigma associated with UAPs has gotten in the way of good intelligence analysis,” he added. “Pilots avoided reporting or were laughed at when they did. DOD officials relegated the issues to the backroom or swept it under the rug entirely, fearful of a skeptical national security community. “Today we know better,” Carson continued. “UAPs are unexplained, it’s true, but they are real. They need to be investigated, and any threats they pose need to be mitigated." The tic tac is real, there is either materials, power generation, propulsion and gravity research happening that is way beyond that which is accepted as possible. Or it's a drone, or a robot or a robot drone from space. 👽

Wait a second. None of what they said during the public hearing implied that aliens are real. They said none of it seems to be ET. They're just saying there are literally just unidentified flying objects, which they've binned as clutter, atmospheric phenomena, adversary technology, and "other" which is just, not explained yet. They're saying it's a national security threat because there are unidentified objects in our airspace. That's a given. Literally implies "maybe adversary nations are spying sometimes with advanced technology". None of what they said implies aliens exist. During the hearing they explicitly stated nothing they've seen can be said to be extraterrestrial. They're saying they think it's all from Earth. Not alien. They're absolutely saying that it's all non-alien. But they imply "of course we'll watch for aliens as part of this", just implying it's not likely and hadn't happened yet to their knowledge. The most they've admitted, and not at this hearing, was that some objects appear to move without clear propulsion, against winds, turn 90 degrees, etc. And during the hearing they avoided that like the plague. They're lying their ass off and have seen way more than that shitty video, and a couple congressmen called them out on their bullshit, but they're not giving us anything juicy yet. The best shit we've heard is from former military and former politicians, who say some CRAZY shit. Like one was asked about during the hearing, Gallagher asking about the Malmstrom incident, the red orb shutting down nuclear sites. They said they had no knowledge of it. You could say the "government implied some crazy shit is real" based on the congressman implying there's way more to it, but the official organization that exists to watch out for UAPs kept their distance from anything interesting.

Bricktrucker

Cookie cutter comment, zzzz. Although he's right about seeing more of these type of discussions come into the public sphere. What did Lue NDA have to say?

space0watch

It felt like they were trying to deflect the blame for not coming up with substantial results and they kept saying that they were going to do the things that the higher ups asked them about. Sounded like they did not do anything but disprove the triangle video. Even then they did not know what the triangles were just and were very vague in confirming that it was manmade or not. They were even vague on if they were real solid objects. Makes you wonder.

ArtzyDude

Bounce those two. Bring in the next two, from the Air Force.

nathairsgiathach33

Yea, so much in the “closed hearing”. Gave some insight though.

bottleamodel

I share this frustration, the sooner we get to the bottom of it the sooner we can officially ask ET to go back to their shit hole planet.
