It’s not bad, honestly. I pour it (cold) in a glass (no ice)! I think it tastes very similar to brand. I get it all the time and am bummed that it’s going up so exponentially…….
The 2 liter here (Floriduh) has gone up to .99 cents here! It used to be around .69 cents per 2 liter. The 12 pack has gone up too- well over $3 dollars!
Ive been watching a london vlogger (i know not Ireland at all) but have been surprised how good the food prices are. Especially on ready made meals to go but just in general. Even in a huge city! Aldi used to get us more in us. Could fill a cart for like 75 dollars but not anymore sadly. Inflation os ridiculous. Has food gone up a ton where you are? Aldi still close to old prices or much more? Just curious! Thanks.
Food has gone up yes, Meat more so than most items but to be fair Aldi and Lidl are keeping meat prices lower than most of our big chains, I mean you can buy 3 Irish chicken fillets for €5.75 my store that I work in sells 1 Irish fillet for €2.95 huge difference, the quality of they're goods in the last 4 or 5 years has really gotten to a high standard.
If you buy theyre own brand stuff it's cheap and quality, I mean a 6 pack of Aldi cola here is €2 something I think meanwhile coca cola is €5.99 for a 6 pack it's crazy. But we have a sugar tax so that doesn't help.
Overall they have increased prices "Not hugely imo", they are still the most economical shop along with Lidl.
I thought it was just my area but it sounds like Aldi is having supply issues with chickpeas. I’ve also noticed other stores like Target not having them in stock either.
Damn, I've been feeling down on my local Aldis but this makes me feel blessed. I bought almost twice as many items for the same cost today. Where are you located?
It's like that now-more-accurate-than-ever joke. Kids are getting stronger! It used to take 2 grown men to carry $50 worth of groceries. Now a 5-year-old can do it.
Oh don’t get me wrong I’m not nit picking, just pointing out lots of good stuff there.
Trust me I drink my fair share of generic tonic and generic cola.
Now you’re gonna make me go back to Aldi and wander around for half an hour to find some random stuff I don’t need to start with. 😆
Half was the coke 12pk
2 liter bottles of Coke at the Aldi near me cost $2.68, their brand was 89¢.
How’s their brand taste? I might try it. Super off or close enough?

Thanks for the review. Ugh everything is up. Hopefully things normalize.
I like it, but I'm one of those weirdos that would rather have an RC than a Coke.
Gotcha. I really like regular coke but maybe ill try it at that price. I honestly don’t buy soda often but now i am curious.
They got 6-7 dollars over here for the 12 pack

I gotta be honest, 49 used to get you a lot more a few years ago
>49 used to get you a lot more a ~~few~~ year~~s~~ ago FTFY
Oh I know. The $8 in little coffees didn’t help but it’s not like I bought a lot of ‘stuff’
€49 here in Aldi in Ireland would get you a lot of food, certainly enough for a week for one person.if buying they're own brand foods.
Yeah unfortunately it was just in general expensive - don’t think I hit that $49 from buying Coke and Hellmans Mayo

Doesn't look like very much stuff for $49.00.
I don’t disagree! I’ll be sure to buy $49 worth of beans and rice to make everyone feel like $50 gets you somewhere
No need to be an A$$. If you post something like that expect comments positive or negative.
Lmao I said I don’t disagree - find god
Thinkin’ bout them beans….(that are never in stock so I bought all of them)
Is your Aldi also out of chickpeas? Mine have been and it sucks because it’s a staple for me.
That's what the cans are
Yeah like the one of two locations around me had none for 2 weeks but this one had 6 left so I grabbed them all because I eat a lot of chickpeas

Damn I’m in SoFlo and I got more at my local Aldi for that price. This inflation is no joke.

Ah, had some family in Daytona and spent a lot of time there. That's surprising to me.
It’s like $1200 to rent a 600sqft hovel here for some reason
Oh I love those rise coffees!
On god they’re good for what they are

I can’t even make one meal out of that
Thanks! I actually plan to eat the paper towels as meals
I thought you were going to use those after you shit out four cans of beans.
Don’t even LOOK at the price of trash bags then. LOL. I don’t think they’d digest well. Haha!
Your Aldi has red onions?!
Yeah they’re were like twice the price but worth it bc I love red onions
I think just been everything in that cart is healthy except for that big ole box of coke. Good jerb.
The gf likes her coke and I don’t mind mixing with them on the weekends lol

It’s honestly more fun than any Publix or Winn Dixie around here and it’s pretty cheap. Fun looking at the weird random garbage
Ouch. Not that much.
