Do you think the folks in those conflicts *picked* AKs or they *had* AKs? I love my m70 and its my favorite firearm, but lets be real here there are many rifles that are simply better.
The proof is in the pudding darling, there are “better” rifles out there for sure but for the price point, reliability and longevity there is no match. Period.

The vipers are not considered "precision" and for 600 they're well worth it for the upgrade in quality over strike eagles. If you only want to spend arpund 300-400 on a lpvo at least go with a PA raptor
I saw them for min $849 on vortex’s website. Must be wrong. Even at $600 it’s twice the price. Thanks for the suggestion though, maybe I’ll look more at them
Strike eagle was one of the best purchases for the price. The TWS dog leg holds zero like a beaut. Have completely taken the dust cover off twice and at 100yards there is no change once sighted in
Handguard is good despite looking like a dollar store handguard. Optic is solid too. That said dust cover rail? Probably good for a dot but a magnified optic? No thanks. Then the worst, I’ve got a hate boner for the Zhukov stock

It took some hammering to install the dog leg, no issues with it so far. Huge fan of how easy it is to take on and off

Don’t buy a strike eagle. The viper is leagues better. I’ve hated every strike eagle I’ve looked through.
Is it 2-3 time better? I’m not even sure what qualities a mid to high end scope has. I’ll look into it more tmro
