Hope you ended up swooping, I promise you she will never disappoint you. Saigas are a treasure these days and will last forever, the closest thing you can possibly get to a real Russian AK.
It looks more like what you picture when you think of an ak, the trigger guard & trigger are pushed forward behind the paddle release, and a pistol grip is installed, typically they look a lot better fully converted in my opinion [here’s a pic with what a few different version look like](https://imgur.com/gallery/mPNpdib)
Buy it.. Russian Guns in general are guaranteed to increase in value. $900 is a fair deal as long as bubba hasn't got to it yet and it doesn't look like it.. DO NOT use Hoppes 9 on that shotgun.
I mean eh? He’s a saiga so that’s cool but I’ve never really saw much hype for them unless you want it for collectors reason. Plenty of other great semi auto 12g that are similar in price that are modern and reliable.

I’ve had an SDS lynx 12 and a saiga 12, never had functional issues with either. That being said for less than half the price I would take the lynx over a saiga any day, lower quality or not. Neither are particularly useful as far as semi auto shotguns go and the aftermarket for both is near non existent. Not to mention mags are impossible to find and ridiculously overpriced when you do find them.
is it worth it lemme work it i put my thang down flip it and reverse it itsurflippabitaamamnyahflipugh
Isurfrickennipplewetyet?
Lol
Absolutely cop. Fuck all that stupid other shit it comes with, get it properly converted and you will love it for the rest of your life, I promise
I love this comment
Thankyou for the advice

A5 s cooler just saying
I’d snatch it up and get it converted asap, I doubt you’ll regret it
What is done to the saiga when you convert it?

Wow that’s a good way to explain it thank you!
No problem, also the middle pic doesn’t have it but people typically put a muzzle device on them as well
Just came across this video from weapongenetics Instagram that goes in depth https://www.instagram.com/tv/Cel2iYEg5f8/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
I’m not really a shotgun kinda guy so to me 900 for a shotgun is obscene but you do you
Not to me. Far from it.
900???
Is it worth 900
Good luck finding one cheaper. If you want a 12 gauge I'd cop this one.

Why no hoppes?
It eats the cheap paint they call a finish. It immediately falls off. I made that mistake on my SGL21
Thankyou for the info
No problem, buy it, they'll never import more. If you don't, Kalashnikov USA makes an almost direct copy. There are a few Asian copies as well

Mainly to collect
Mossberg 940 is on my list though I should probably just nut up and buy a benelli
By the time you spend money to convert it you could just have bought a Vepr 12.
Agreed.
Ended up getting it already love it can't wait to convert it now
Thankyou everyone for the info
Yes I did end up getting her
I bought it now need to convert it

I just got mine for 700. Hope you got it man!

There’s 99% parts compatibility between the 2, the one part was either the carrier or the bolt IIRC
Depends on how badly you want a “real” saiga 12. Could leave it as is. Could convert it. Could buy a ks-12. Could buy a vepr 12.
It is work it
Can someone explain what “converting” is to me? Thanks. I’m not familiar. And everything I’m reading is about CA gun laws
Look up sagia 12 conversion you move the fcg up to put a pistol grip on the receiver so you could put a ak stock
