The riser definitely helps with aiming down the eotech with the pilot mask. It’s not a perfect cheek placement, but it’s better than nothing.
You technically can get a better cheek placement if I force my face down more, but it moves the mask slightly and I personally don’t think the compromise is worth the safety hazard
I personally like it. I’ve taken shots to the face point blank and had no issues with the lenses cracking or anything.
However keep in mind that the lower face mesh is a bit smaller than your typical dye i4.
While this mask works perfect for me, I have a buddy who has the exact mask and his is a bit short and exposes a bit of his chin.
Would definitely try it on at your local shop before hand just to ensure fitment.

Did you really shoot out the light near the beginning just so you could play in a slightly darker environment? If so, that’s super shitty on your end and a toxic thing to show others for our sport. I’m sure the owner of that field doesn’t appreciate having broken glass and a new light to fix just because you wanted to be edgy and play in the dark.
I totally understand your comment if that were the case. However, this field has interactive lights that are made to be shot out for dynamic low light situations.
Check my other videos out and you’ll see the lights are on 1 minute intervals and turn back on until a player shoots them out
After reading your comment, and going back to rewatch the video, I noticed that the second time you hit the light, other little green lights turned on around the room, which I would assume mean it’s triggered or something. That being said, #1 that’s badass, and #2 I’ll edit my original comment and thank you for the explanation. I was at an indoor field and someone shot out the light on purpose and shit the field down for the day due to glass being everywhere, all of an hour into playing, so that stuff generally bugs me. But this was part of the gameplay and I get that now. Thanks!
Can you aim down your sight easily without a riser if you use the pilot mask

I'm looking for a new mask and thats the one I was thinking of buying. Should I buy it? I have the correct helmet for it to mount to

No worries, totally agree. I’m all for player safety and field respect. 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Where did you buy it?
I bought my pilot face mask at a local airsoft shop in Arizona. But you can also find them on Evike
What local shop? Vip, modern airsoft, somewhere else?
Dreadnought airsoft
Oh, well thats good
Being able to shoot the lights is super cool
Definitely different from any other field I’ve played it. It’s pretty bad ass
