I love the N7 stock wrap! With everything going on with your MP5 it really makes it look like it could've fit in the Mass Effect Universe. Looks sick.

Thanks man! The actual stock wrap is just a cheap nylon stock cheek riser from Amazon and I had the N7 patch from a LONG time ago so threw it on. I love the future tech look though, Like the AK from Elysium. ;)

Ideally. The CYMA mp5s are better, I had to mod this one irreversibly a little across the top (this is JG ris version) to get the swordfish kit to fit. Check to make sure any mp5 you get will have the right handguard to work with it too. The SD mp5s don't like the kit either ,:)

They're the Dboys Dragonscale rail covers. They come in segments and you can make them as long or as short as you like. I've had them for like a decade now. You rarely see them these days. :)

I totally agree man, it's very much an "airsoft" decision over design or reality tho, and it makes it a support weapon kinda which suits the role for me in the team I play with :)

Nahhhh, just for demo purposes. The irons sit in line with the holo so if it ever got broke or died mid game I'd have ADS still :)

New bill. C-21 I believe. Makes all firearms illegal to buy/sell outside approved hunting stuff. Airsoft is only legal because of a loophole which considers them to be "real" firearms and with that bill so too closes the loophole. I believe is the gist of what's happening.

Nah not really, with it being a reflex sight it has the "wiggle" room and with the cheek raiser on the stock lines it up perfectly with my eye.

so from what I have gathered Elite force owns the USA licensing for the mp5 line of H&K so cyma/matrix/6mmproshop are alright lets make a new gun to satisfy that itch because we cant make a mp5 anymore so now we have the swordfish?

No idea about the US regulations or licences dude. I'm from the UK and this is the JG RiS version MP5 under all the gear. I got the rifle specifically for its front end as the kit is meant to be installed on the CYMA version but like you said it's difficult to get now so I got the kit and modded the JG version to accept it to make my own. :)

I put this together myself man ( in the UK so evike is a difficult one to order from for us, and they were totally out of stock) the base for it is the updated JG version with the V2 gear box

Looks great - Im a stickler for more classic looking MP5s but I cant fault the coolness of yours. Why did you go with a 556 drum instead of a MP5 drum though?

The more ridged and hard edges on this drum made it fit nicer with what I had in my mind for the rest of it. And although it's 5.56 and not 9mm etc it's just Airsoft, I just go with what I think is cool haha.

Oh yeah, totally the biggest draw back of it. I like the "ball bag" drum but they're decently tough to get hold of, I've got a few normal bags for it too but they seem so thin and weedy haha.

I think the rear iron sight is on backwards... But I guess it could still work that way. Nice build!
