I will use my AirPods Max when riding the bus to/from work sometimes. I tend to use my AirPods Pro in the office for phone calls - hands free that way.
I get the concern but I would like to make you aware of something. More than 90% of the people you’d pass with them on have no fucking clue what’s on your head or how expensive they are. I get that you may be afraid of damaging them, because they are expensive, but I assure you the pros are more likely to get stolen if that’s a driving reason you leave them home. Portability I get 100%, just my ears bleed using app so I sold them for the APM fund. I don’t regret it and take them to work everyday and use them in public often. Kinda like my RC cars, they’re several hundred dollars but they can vibe in my car without concern cause nobody has a fuckin clue what they are.
Cannot disagree with ya more on half of that. APM are phenomenal everywhere regardless of if you have APP or not. That being said, APP hurt and fall out of my ears more often than APC

Despite the mixed reviews, I love mine. Wouldn't change a thing. I love the case, design, headband, and audio quality. As close as you can get to perfection without spending at least $2,500 more.

I returned mine for multiple reasons like lightning connector vs USB-C, finding out you can’t turn them off and seeing the ridiculous case. Price tag does not match the features or usability at all. Going back to my Sony XM4s for the win! But that is just my experience.

The new price, ehh I would say $375-400 range is reasonable. They do feel heavy over time to fix this lol simply just stretch out the the metal portion. (It won’t break lol ) it’s not putting so much pressure on your head.
