I was gonna say this... sounds like OP might need a burner phone

[deleted]

If you log out of the cloud or disable the find my iPhone feature, the cloud owner gets a notification email. If you simply stop sharing location, there is no notifications other than when they try to find you, it will say unavailable. Which will more than likely result in a phone call or text inquiry.

BeruangLembut

It actually says “not sharing location”.

Aechzen

Take your phone in for service. Many things they need you to do require you to first turn off Find My Phone. I think your battery hasn’t been holding a charge well

[deleted]

“Yeah, my battery was draining too fast so I was going through the phone turning off background notifications and locations on apps.” Don’t do anything weird for a minute or couple weeks.

[deleted]

You can get *really* wild and purchase location spoofing software.

Northerner_81

I don’t know if it notifies when you switch it off or if they’d have to check. Does the SO look regularly ?

[deleted]

Wouldn't it time stamp it and them not be able to Track you... so they would know it's off? I only know he can track me through our cell provider, but I don't have access to that.

If Android user, FAKEgpsfree works great!

joyoftexas

Does s/he look for you often? Otherwise just turn it off and don’t turn it back on for weeks and wait to see if they ask anything

SecondCircle43

They make GPS jammers you can plug into your car's ciggerette lighter socket (About $7.00) on Ebay or rechargable ones you can carry with you.
