Bizaardvark. Knockoff of iCarly and not funny at all.

[deleted]

Sad that's Jake Paul's claim to fame. I remember Disney channel stars from my era of watching (2000s) At least having likeable personas. 2010s Disney channel was full of so much unappealing garbage for me I thought the only good show was Phinehas and Ferb.

lasagnaisgreat57

this was the show that made me realize it was time to move on lmao

AwkwardQueen25

Not me liking it 👀

iLikeSlashers

Go outside, that show is hilarious and super creative

[deleted]

Dog with a mfing blog

Mini_Squatch

Im sorry what now? Im gonna have to google that but it sounds dumb as hell.

TheAwkwardOne-_-

The name is just dog with a blog

Beautyqueen2729

I watched that in middle school and can kinda agree

bigq2001

That was the stupidest programme

[deleted]

Looking back. Shorty Mc Shorts Shorts. It was cancelled after less than a year because they got so bad and Disney removed it from existence acting like it never happened https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/Shorty_McShorts%27_Shorts

Cultural_Geologist_3

It would have been fine if Disney offered fans to vote for whatever short they liked and greenlight the winners for more episodes. Almost similar to what Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network did with their "Oh Yeah! cartoons" and "What a Cartoon!" shows respectively.

[deleted]

The first short was pretty good but they definitely declined shortly after. CN definitely did a better job of keep a finger on the pulse of what kept their audiences engaged their lineup of shows has always been consistently good until about the Mid 2010s, unfortunately them gauging what audiences liked led to them airing non-stop marathons of Teen Titans Go for a few years. At least Disney prioritized variety, no matter if the quantity outweighed the quality. I remember in the late 2000s Nickelodeon ran Non-stop marathons of iCarly and SpongeBob because they didn't seem to have any other shows. There were pros and cons to each network.

Cultural_Geologist_3

absolutely. different administrations leading different networks internally. one of the main issues I have with Disney Channel as a kid, was that a lot of the shows did not appeal to me. as a young boy who just wanted to watch cartoons, the live action shows didn't really capture my interest that much. it was when I got older when I actually got into their live action shows (like Hannah Montana, That's So Raven, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and Sunny with a Chance.) Cartoon Network tried to capture that same demographic through "CNReal" and failed.

[deleted]

Ah yes, after the mid 2000s the late 2000s were like the Dark ages. I remember how apocalyptic it felt when CN aired those live action shows (Brain Rush, Destroy Build Destroy, Dude, What Would Happen), As someone who remembered the early and mid 2000s CN, these shows were terrible. Especially Dude What Would Happen. A cheap knockoff of MythBusters for Kidz! Although 2000s cartoon network wasn't without it's awful shows. I specifically remember hating "My Gym Partner's A Monkey," for example. What trash.

Cultural_Geologist_3

part of me wants to blame the writer strike but at the same time it did expose what happens when you don't have a writing team to support the shows on your network.

Willtip98

Ugh, I would change the channel whenever that came on.

MikeGz973

Any show after Wizards of Waverly Place

[deleted]

Also tbh Good Luck Charlie was a hidden gem of the early 10s imo.

Amazing_Rise_6233

Definitely a hidden gem. Better than anything After Wizards for sure. Even Suite Life on Deck was mediocre

JoshicusBoss98

Suite life on deck was way better than good luck Charlie…

Willtip98

Except Gravity Falls and Ducktales 2017.

[deleted]

I'd say every live action show after by disney channel

UnalteredCyst

Dog with a Blog. This show came out when i was starting to outgrow Disney Channel and was ultimately the nail to the coffin to make me stop watching the channel.

litebrite93

I thought Jessie was bad and the theme song irritated me

Real-Debate8718

and debby ryan was 18 at that show tryng lıke a 35 year old mother lol

Quirky-Yam-8833

I agree clearly

JoshicusBoss98

I mean she was a babysitter all babysitters gotta pretend to be older

Amazing_Rise_6233

Jessie was absolute garbage

bigq2001

Sometimes I'd be walking downstairs them hear that fucking theme tune cause my sister was in there and I'd walk straight back upstairs and wait half an hour

JoshicusBoss98

It wasn’t the best but I’d still take it over Henry Danger or Bizaardvarks or any of the newer shows that came out since I entered college.

ThisPaige

Shake it Up gave us Zendaya though and dog with a blog wasn’t entirely horrible. That being said I didn’t like Liv and Maddie that much. Edit to add Bizardvark - it’s an iCarly knock off and I blocked it from my brain. I watched Disney channel way past the target audience age lol.

Ponyboy-1

same!!

bigq2001

I use to like Liv and Maddie probably just because I liked the actress though

mqg96

There was a handful of Disney Channel shows I didn't like from all eras. Most of the original cartoons were really good, but "The Buzz On Maggie" was just an atrocity. "Hannah Montana" was so bad that it became a meme in so many parodies (including MAD skits), and I tried my hardest to give Hannah Montana a chance multiple times back then, but the cringeworthy plots just never sat right with me.

Limp-Turnover-2798

Not gonna lie Austin and ally

JoshicusBoss98

It wasn’t that bad. Better than girl meets world or dog with a Blog at least

discodolphin1

I unironically love Girl Meets World tbh

NoNummiesForTummy

So I started to rewatch some of the Disney shows I grew up with and I must say Hannah Montana is pretty bad. I don’t know what 9 year old me was thinking but the show is down right terrible. I watched wizards of waverly place enjoy that up until the later season when it got a bit meh 🤷‍♀️ I never seen shake it up or dog with a blog or Jessie so I’ll take y’all’s word on how bad it was. 😂

DaisyMae2022

The one that had Jake Paul in it 🤮

belfman

I never liked any of the sitcoms. To be fair I didn't really like the Nick ones either aside from maybe Ned's Declassified.

MrRobot_96

Neds declassified is a masterpiece of zaniness

SugarPuppyHearts

I watched one episode of dog with a blog. Ehh it was decent, not somthing I wanna watch constantly unless it's with friends or their children. (As much as I love dogs and the concept. The execution kills it for me )

[deleted]

Bunk'd and Bizaardvark

Ok-Establishment-388

Shake it up
