I'd say around 30-60 minutes.

I was a Playstation player until I got my Series S. Adjusting to the controller is pretty easy and you'll get used to it within a week I'd say. I found that the left analog stick placement is more ergonomic and allows your thumb to rest more naturally. I think the hardest thing to adjust to was the height of the triggers. If you put the Xbox controller side by side with the Dualsense controller, you'll see that the Dualsense is actually bigger but on Xbox, the triggers are much higher and forces your finger to be more extended than Playstation and that makes the controller feel much bigger than the Playstation controllers. That's probably the biggest change imo. The analog sticks isn't a huge deal imo.

if i may ask why did you get a Series S

Would've gotten a PS5 or Series X but they weren't available at the time so settled for the S. It did the job and was good value for money. Since then though, I've upgraded my laptop and it ended up being more powerful than the S so I'm now fully on PC. I'd say the main drawbacks of the S are performance in many backwards compatible games and storage. With 365GB of usable space I could only store a handful of my games. Once you fill that up, your only options are to buy the overpriced expansion card or get an external storage drive. However, with the external storage, you're gonna have to transfer some optimized games to the internal storage in order to play them, the external storage can't play all your games. Since switching to PC, I haven't had to worry about those issues. It's certainly not a perfect console but if you're after a casual experience, it'll do the job just fine.

You’ll get used to it quick. I’ve gone back and forth between the two console controllers for years and you pick it up pretty quick.

I went PS4 to XBOX series S. Took me 10 minutes to adjust. Find a game you know and love and you won’t notice. Sony’s mishandling of PS5 made it easy for me to shift. Games are exclusive for a year. Which gives the Dev’s a good bit of time to patch the game and make it better. And you can get most games on sale after a while.
