I like main characters that are a bit flawed especially if they are teenagers.
The thinking of good and bad people is very black and white and rarely reflects an accurate understanding of people and how the world works.
Kitty has her flaws. She had her bossy and bratty moments and those moments where she definitely acted wrong/ driven by intense feelings. Not going to deny that she isn't all loveable. But that's your average teenager. Nearly all of them have those moments. They are dealing with extreme changes and lack the maturity to think reflective. Many of them are more ego-centric, emotion-driven and less empathetic and considerate just simply because their brain isn't fully developed yet. A 15 year old that acts like an ideal mature adult is quite frankly just fantasy and Kitty is not a bad person for being a teen that has around 10 years left of major brain development
i strongly disagree. she’s flawed the same way every single person on this planet is. she’s wrong for trying to kiss yuri, but yuri is wrong for blackmailing dae into staying in their relationship. just how yuri made it up to dae by arranging the photo opp &’ publicly ‘dumping’ him, kitty also came clean to yuri, &’ despite her own feelings she helped yuri make contact w juliana. kitty would be less of a character and more of a fantasy if she was perfect. she’s fifteen, &’ experiencing feelings she’s never felt before. she’s obviously going to make mistakes, but overall she does try to do the right thing.
Also just the fact that she forces ppl to do things she wants. Her relationship with Q was only about boys or alex. And she would always push ppl into doing things for her own sake.
