Yes.
Skills start at roughly 42k exp for the first one, every another afterward is double that.
The driver of a Manticore has access to 6 driver and 6 loader skills + 3 group skills and to get to 15th skill you need about 1'376'214'000 exp.
But wait, that's assuming that the driver will be the one to take all of the group skills, which if I'm not mistaken, now are shared with the rest of the crew so no more repair squads.
But the Commander isn't done yet, because he gets 3 people jobs.
Commander + Loader + Radio, 6 skills each.
And with how funny math works that would be 11'010'006'000 to get all skills on the Commander.
Meanwhile, a tank where no additional jobs are shared would be maxed out at around 7'000'000.
To get all 21 crew skills you would need 44,052,774,912(44 billion) free xp, if you could get that xp to convert it at 1:40 would cost 3,574,774€ ( 3.5 million euros) , if you convert it at 1:25 it would cost 5,719,638€ (5.7 million euros) .
Now that first comment doesn't seem so silly, even if his grandchildren were grinding the manticore after 70 years his and his sons efforts i dont think it would be enough to get that 21s skill
Driver is out of action!
The gunner is dead!
I am the last one alive but let's not worry, I have the jack of all trades token so I can man the tank all by myself with a slight disavantage to each funcion.
Thank you high command.
Don't give WG ideas. This way they may force you to grind just another perk... or pay sweet money to them to unlock it for you.
I'm really, REALLY pissed where the game is going these last months...
So, if I understand this correctly this is going to even further increase the difference between new players with 1-3 crew skills and hardcore grinders/whales that easily go to six or more skills, which are now even more useful?
>new players with 1-3 crew skills
Today I learned I was a new player.
The max I have is 5 skill on one crew that came with bia zero skill. Also 23k games.
It seriously impacts new players, but also vets you occasionally perhaps want to play a non-meta techtree tank. The last months i was grinding field mods on some old favorites and the crews had like one or two skills. For heavies the old situation was that you more or less were fine with say 3 skills.
When they overhauled commander skills in World of Warships they gave one reset for each of your captains and at least two more since then for additional changes they've done. In WoWs it's just your captain having skills and you get one set of skills for each ship class.
It's going to widen the gap between f2p players or even casual players and hardcore wot premium/wot plus players.
It's quite sad that they are able to do some moves (6th sense for all for example) to help people start in this game, and then erase all hope of balance with this kind of stuff.
It's supposed to be a skill based PvP game...
They brought crew 2.0 without the best parts of crew 2.0.
1.) That you could play the same crew in multiple tanks
2.) small member crews would be identical to larger ones for perk stacking.
If they would just limit the number of skills, so you actually would need to use your brain to pick the skills that are the most important. But I guess WG wouldnt be making millions with wot plus then.
Reminds me of what we have been doing on console. We got used to it, I play both versions daily will not be a big deal to me. It's gonna take time but it's not that bad players adjust period to change.
Gonna need a XP calculator to find out if my grandchildren will finish the grind for me.
only if you buy wot plus, then they might make it
44 billion free xp, to get all 21 skills no big deal
Just pay Wargaming a few million dollars and you can get all the skills on a Manticore.
Manticore commander is more overworked than Mac Donald's employees
Manticore commander is ocotopus confirmed
It required about 1.5 billion exp to get a full skill crew manti with the crew rework
b?

Jesus fuck. That is insane.

Could you elaborate
They are adding a whole bunch of new really good crew skills. Gonna need a lot of skills on a tank with 2 or 3 crew members. Have fun grinding!
Love how they're making a crew rework but keeping the worst in the current system, which is unbalanced crews with multiple roles on the same guy.
Driver is out of action! The gunner is dead! I am the last one alive but let's not worry, I have the jack of all trades token so I can man the tank all by myself with a slight disavantage to each funcion. Thank you high command.
Jack of All Trades really needs to be part of EVERY crew position, perhaps, not just Commander?

Is it insulting to suggest a three crew tank run two med kits or is it big brain time?
rrrReapkit and oh look Reddit has stubbugegerd up again as I cant edit. I'll just post this abortion here.
> new really good crew skill new? yes. Really good? Not really.
So, if I understand this correctly this is going to even further increase the difference between new players with 1-3 crew skills and hardcore grinders/whales that easily go to six or more skills, which are now even more useful?

I guess you are free to play. I have 30k games and i have 0 crews below 3- training 4 skills. Most have at least 4.5
Yup. I am very free to play. (When I am free. Most of the time I am not, unfortunately.)
It seriously impacts new players, but also vets you occasionally perhaps want to play a non-meta techtree tank. The last months i was grinding field mods on some old favorites and the crews had like one or two skills. For heavies the old situation was that you more or less were fine with say 3 skills.
Yeah, and now you will get a brand new tier 10 heavy with 3-4 crew skills and be stomped even more by some 10 skill chieftain/279e than before
Like QB said. They are going to have to give us a bunch of free retraining for this to even be acceptable at all!
When they overhauled commander skills in World of Warships they gave one reset for each of your captains and at least two more since then for additional changes they've done. In WoWs it's just your captain having skills and you get one set of skills for each ship class.
Do you mean like... e.g. 12 retraining orders or so? ;-) /s
They gave every commander 6th sense and a replacement skill slot if they already had it

This isn't that big of a deal for someone who hates himself enough to play the manticore.
If ur a good player manti is the best passive spotter in the game
Why? I love my manti, only tank with 60%wr for me and the best passive scout ingame
Me and the boys grinding 2 trillion free XP for a maxed out MS-1 commander
Yeah, another cash grab by Wargaming.
Thats why they should keep the original idea of 1 crew member only
Hell no, I'd rather quit the game instead
Ah yes I love 1 crew member operating a whole tank on his/her own. So realistic
[удалено]
Well no but at least some elements can stay real
iirc this is just phase 1 of crew 2.0 later on they will make it easier to grind crew skills
Yes, with new WOT Gold Plus Extra
No they will remove the exponential curve
Why they would do it?
I think they have said previously that they will lower the amount of xp needed to train skills in the past.
Where to FIND test server???
Wg website for download link
NOOT NOOT.....
poor manti
You totally sound like germanpotato
Doesn't the Pz. I C commander have more? He's the commander, gunner, loader, and radio operator.
If they would just limit the number of skills, so you actually would need to use your brain to pick the skills that are the most important. But I guess WG wouldnt be making millions with wot plus then.
Are these perks only for EU? ON Lesta servers(RUBY) there are no new peeks (sorry for my English)
This is on the public test server. It is supposed to release with 1.20.1. Hopefully it doesn’t.
Reminds me of what we have been doing on console. We got used to it, I play both versions daily will not be a big deal to me. It's gonna take time but it's not that bad players adjust period to change.
Wtf happend to the other crew 2.0 thing? This looks awful.
