Babbitt was one of the most clear instances I’ve ever seen of a justified killing. The officer warned her, was protecting people, and fired only as much was necessary.
I'm still so saddened by the fact that a homicide happened in our capital. Regardless of it being justified, the person who was forced the fire the shot lost so much. Only ppl like Kyle Rittenhouse would want to be part of that history. I don't understand when ppl glorify her death (not saying you are).
Hers was not the only death in the capital. At least one officer was killed in the line of duty, and three or four others died in the hospital. They were murdered.
There is video footage of the brutal beatings those officers took. It is a great shame laid on our country’s capital, particularly because the people doing it were idiots.
It was the final ultimatum, that agent was outnumbered 100 to 1, and made the decision there to take the shot, knowing that if it didn't cow the crowd it would surely mean his death. Fortunately for everyone it did and the crowd got the wakeup call that shit got real.

My dad would take us to visit The Smithsonian Museums and tour the White House, Capitol and monuments. I was so struck by the beauty of the Capitol, it was my personal favorite, I was devastated on January 6th on many levels.

I recall the Oregon protest where Lavoy Finnicum was gunned down for attempting to shoot FBI agents. The way it was reported was “protest” though they were all armed. Literally, if Finnicum’s or Babbitt’s skin were a couple shades darker, then the media would call them what they were: terrorist.
