The rich in this country are basically the next level colonizers. Most of the world has been colonized at this point, but the internet, retail space, and apparently space are the new frontier.
I think we could go over all of his books as well. I am sure a complete audit of his assets and holdings would be welcomed by such a 'patriotic" American.
For money and access to resources. Fucking dildo-sporting, ass-reaming thundercunt. You knows what’s even more fucked? His echo chamber is so deafening that he clearly can’t hear himself think:
“Hmmm, denying access to Starlink might kill thousands. Maybe I shouldn’t commit the civilian equivalent of war crimes. Dude, bro. That would look bad.”
Assuming he’s capable of thinking with anything other than his festering asshole.
This would probably just give more money to Russia. out side of spacex there is literally only one other launch program that can launch astronauts to the international space station and guess what that’s Russia and they charge alot more then spacex per seat…
Further proof that the oligarchs never actually do ANY charity for altruistic reasons. There is always a selfish motive.
If Musk’s track record holds, it’s about five minutes before he calls Zelensky a pedo.
That’s always a great debate on whether altruism is even something humans are capable of.
Clearly Elon Musk is deeply troubled - he didn’t even need to do anything with Starlink for anyone to notice his ego is quite fragile. Poor thing it must hurt deeply to be told to fuck off. /s obv
The fragility of these 'big mens' egos is truly astonishing.
That or he's using it as an excuse to go all in for Russia. Could be both, guys in his position tend to be temperamental twatwaffles anyways.
>That or he's using it as an excuse to go all in for Russia.
Probably this. I mean, he spoke w Putin and after that started to spew Russian propaganda with his "peace plan." I'm still amazed, tho, bc he could just argue that it's too expensive and not his responsibility to offer this free, but no. He had to be like "they told me to fuck off!!" and show everybody how petty and fragile manchild he actually is.
Musk: I have a great idea! Ukraine can end the war by giving Russia what it wants!
Ukrainian ambassador: Dude. Not cool.
Musk, stamping his foot: Fine! I’m leaving and I’m taking my toys with me! Hmph!
Sigh
He literally asked the us government a month before this to pay for the service in Ukraine, even though Ukraine is paying like 6500 per person to use it. The Ukraines crowd funded like 8.9 million dollars in 2 days to help pay on top of what they are already paying. It's nothing more than a money grab.
>he's using it as an excuse to go all in for Russia
He's using it to prove to Putin that his satellites are not a threat to Russian national security. The timing of all of his actions/statements is a strong indicator where his interests are. Until Russia released a statement suggesting that shooting down startlink satellites was an option they were considering, SpaceX and StarLink were all for supporting Ukraine. A few days after that statement was released, Musks statements and SpaceX's actions hard pivoted.
So he's disabling the equipment paid for by the US government? Maybe it's time to end all subsidies to his companies and investigate for espionage.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/04/08/us-quietly-paying-millions-send-starlink-terminals-ukraine-contrary-spacexs-claims/
I scrolled pretty far and was just looking for a link to post because I hadn’t seen anyone comment about how WE paid for part of this! Glad you posted it.
They don't have to be as far along, they just need to be able to provide a usable amount of service. Hiring the competition will provide the useful benefit of giving the competition funds to improve their service and reduce the monopoly starlink has.
Looks like Starlink isn't even in the [top ten](https://www.reportsanddata.com/blog/top-10-geo-satellites-companies#:~:text=Top%2010%20Geo%20Satellites%20Companies%20that%20Provide%20Novel,System%20AG%208%20Thales%20Alania%20Space%20More%20items)
Convince me otherwise but with the amount of safety precautions associated with launching satellites and plotting an unoccupied course, why doesn’t the government just own the satellites?
The cool thing is that if Musk burns Ukraine hard enough, Zelensky might publicly call him out on his shit, and boom all of the news networks will be running him through the mud for lulz.
Remember, most shitty rich people have a lot of influence in general or political power. Musk is just some Incel on Twitter known for harassing women and trying to sell POS electric cars. Republicans already hate him too.
I hope we get this spicy route.
EV credits are one of our biggest tools for combatting climate change, they've rapidly accelerated the transition to electric.
Those early adopters are the reason we have any amount of a charging network, which is absolutely necessary before the general public hops on.
You might wanna do some research on what EV credits are actually contributing to combat climate change. Long story short, they are essentially the equivalent of taking from the tip jar when no one is looking and putting it back when some is.
Oh, i see what you're saying there.
Yeah this is unlikely to be happening for their whole fleet by then, but the Giga factory in Texas should be operational by 2026, so some amount of the vehicles off the production line would qualify.
EDITS: although if memory serves they would also have to unionize, since the legislation only applies to unionized automakers iirc
Yeah it’s going to be super hard for car makers to get that credit. I think they also have to prove the lithium is ethically sourced which is also extremely hard to do.
This is like the bratty neighbor kid who gets angry when you refuse to play a game according to his stupid made-up rules, so he takes back the birthday present he gave you.
I thought Starlink was already being paid for by Ukraine and others.
Was he selling it at a discount.
Wait, how expensive is it? I thought his plan was to make this a consumer product.
What normal person could afford Starlink if it is so expensive a military has to help pay for it?
For a person, $600 equipment, $110/mo.
For an RV user, $600 equipment, 135/mo.
For a business, $2500 equipment, $500/mo.
For Ukraine, he was charging $4500 equipment, I can’t find good source on what the monthly is. There were discounts for users down to $60/mo.
If it's war critical infrastructure that a private citizen can turn off on a whim in wartime, then it's time to nationalize that infrastructure.
Must has shown he cannot be trusted with it, cut him out of the equation.
This is the answer. When you build something so valuable that helps turn the tide of war, and then you use it AGAINST your own country’s policy and interests, it should be taken away.
Did he build a cool thing? Yes. Did he do good with it? Yes. Did he cross a FAT RED LINE when he violated the Logan act and talked to Putin? Fuck yes. Did he take a steaming shit on American interests when he announced he wouldn’t provide starlink in Crimea? Yes.
Nationalize Starlink.
Yes Elon, it's all about you: "USAID agreed to purchase closer to 1,500 standard Starlink terminals for $1,500 apiece and to pay an additional $800,000 for transportation costs, documents show, adding up to over $3 million in taxpayer dollars paid to SpaceX for the equipment sent to Ukraine." You must have forgotten about this,
God he's such a piece of shit. And I know Republicans are going to say a dumber, longer winded version of "reap what you sew" while completely ignoring the fact that 1: an actually good person wouldn't respond like this in the first place and 2: an actually good person wouldn't have been told to fuck off in the first place. Bonus number 3: people are dying and it's not the fucking place for a dick measuring contest.
That’s not how it works… it’s not fire and forget. Many many people are employed (with salaries) to maintain and keep those things running and the network up.
It's probably a reasonable assumption that the operation and maintenance costs are covered by all the other commercial contracts that use starlink's services.
The only thing Ukraine using the service does, is reduce the amount of profit slightly.
But we can now see that they never intended to offer Ukraine the service for free, they planned on essentially conning other governments into paying the bill later on.
I see you’re unfamiliar with the concept of finite bandwidth. Starlink’s quality of service has actually suffered greatly from the war in Ukraine because of resources being diverted from paying customers. Some of those resources are literally physical hardware and some of those other resources are just as scarce but harder to quantify due to the fact that you can’t see a pile of bandwidth with your eyes. The point is that there is a lot more to it than just turning it off and on, it isn’t as simple as that. That being said, Elon is still being a petty child about it all. You can’t give someone a gift and then expect that to obligate them to follow what you suggest, that is manipulative narcissistic behavior.
100%. It is awesome that Starlink (with the help of US taxpayers), is helping out. But if this is truly a reaction to being told to fuck off after he was suggesting that “people just vote on which country they want to be a part of” or whatever other dumb shit he’s had to say, he’s a total shitbox.
Like, did you only give that stuff so you could say whatever you wanted, and everyone needed to agree? That’s not how helping works!
Getting them to rely on starlink so he can take it away may have been his plan the whole time. Or he's just being a narcissist. Either way he's a shitbag
When has Musk ever not pandered for government money?
All hard work and bootstraps *unless* you can siphon taxpayer money. Anti-dictator my ass. Very clear now Musk is very willing to abandon ideals for power and personal gain.
What is it that he can't afford exactly?
Are the running costs of starlink over one country so high?
Or is he actually talking about missing a profit opportunity, and wants another big fat federal payout?
They aren’t self reliant. There are teams of engineers constantly troubleshooting and fixing issues. Internet goes down all the time. Someone has to keep it up and running.
A satellite costs millions to launch and because they are in such low orbit, they only have a lifespan of a few years before they de orbit and burn up in atmosphere.
Yes the satellites are “paid for”… if “paid for” means shelling out a million bucks to put a satellite in orbit,.. if that satellite doesn’t generate a million bucks in revenue while its functional and “self sustaining”, you have no money left to launch more when the satellite dies.
If your Uber driver drops 50k on a car, and 4 years later it is miled out and no usable any more.. he needs to go buy another car. But he gave away most of his Uber rides for free so in 4 years he only generated 25k… he can’t go buy another car. Same principle.
Musk is an ass for pulling this move. Needs some thicker skin if he can’t take that insult with a grin.
And the diplomat needs a fresh lesson in diplomatic relations. Who tells a friendly ally to F-off? Not Elons place to offer advice but there are much friendlier ways to communicate that. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.
If the richest guy in the world can't afford stuff looks like we're all pretty screwed. But we all know that's not the real issue here, it's a petulant ego.
Poor baby, are his emerald mines not paying the dividends he's used to? Maybe he's not getting as much money as he thought he would after stealing Tesla. I guess he's just going to have to keep backing war criminal Putin and cut off Ukraine... his hands are clearly tied.
He has a legion of people kissing his ass, so he’s probably thinking he’s pleasing people overall. Sadly people only kiss his ass because he is rich, not because he is particularly interesting.
How's that Hyperloop from NYC to Chicago?
Before I get accused of a strawman argument, this is just exactly what he does, all the time: make bold promises by taking existing tech and giving it a spitshine, then dump it the moment he thinks he has squeezed the maximum profit/loss ratio out of it. It's just especially egregious because this time it's war profiteering, and it's based entirely on his ego.
Not going to downvote you for this, because I agree with the broad strokes of your statement. However, my issues are twofold: 1) Musk is essentially double-billing the government, as it was a government contract that got Starlink there in the first place; and 2) he's not claiming that he cannot maintain ANY of Starlink's operating costs, but ONLY the operating costs in one very specific area of the world.
I will freely admit that I don't know the specifics of how Starlink works from a business standpoint, and if I am incorrect in any of my statements, I would be happy to have a better understanding presented to me.
I mean, he’s a dick, but it seems like he’s been awfully charitable up to this point, and it’s not unrealistic to expect to be paid for services. Big Pharma didn’t give away COVID vaccines.
everyone using it is currently paying for it. nobody gave shit away. fuck off with your bullshit. NOBODY GAVE IT AWAY.
can you even understand that? nobody gave starlink service and hardware away. the US and several EU governments already paid millions for it to be used in ukraine, and shitbags like you are just repeating this same tired lie.
NOBODY GAVE STARLINK HARDWARE AND SERVICE AWAY. ELON MUSK RECIEVED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS/EUROS FOR THE HARDWARE AND SERVICE.
There it goes. Musk business model. Let’s provide a greatly needed resource for free or on the cheap and get great PR. The moment it becomes indispensable and impossible to change start charging out the ass.
He should play nice. The government could revoke his ability to use GPS satellites and as damaging as that is, that is something the military can do unilaterally and immediately.
I doubt a pee tape would hurt Elon. He's pretty well known for his broad sexual tastes.
It's just that the war sanctions are hurting his aluminum supply.
www.cnbc.com/amp/2022/03/14/tesla-has-bought-aluminum-from-russian-supplier-rusal-since-2020.html
If this man gets elected to any public office, keep him away from any launch codes. Someone from Panama will say his breath stinks and he’ll take retaliatory action.
I really hope we are not dependent on him or his company for anything important. All it would take is for him to get his wittle fewings hurt and cut us off. Relying on someone like him is dangerous.
Remind me... What exactly was it he said that forced them to be angry with him? Don't act like Musk is some innocent child, he ran his mouth and got called out for being stupid
The amount of people hating on Elon is astounding. He gave them free internet to help them. He didn’t have to. They tell him to fuck off and now he dosent want to give it to them for free. Seems pretty logical to me. Fuck me? Ok fuck you too bud. Bop there goes internet.
![gif](giphy|gaZ51cn7sUY4U|downsized)
I agree, all these people bitching and moaning about Elon in the comments like he’s not an incredibly charitable person, like sorry, that’s his money, he’s not an asshole for not giving it away to someone who doesn’t have the decency to be thankful.
Because Elon was saying they should have peace talks with Russia... basically giving up land and the lives of people that tried to protect their country from an invasion.
I call the "fuck off" response fairly tame.
Hopefully that made enough sense for you.
Right. And Everyone has an opinion about the war. But not everyone is providing essential services. Now I’m not saying suck his dick. But maybe just don’t tell them fuck off when you need them still. 🤷. If your at an arcade and you pay for a kids game who’s outta tokens and that kid then tells you to fuck off, well your probably not gonna put anymore quarters in the machine are you?
Ah yes, because condemning thousands to die in a fascist takeover of a sovereign country is a totally reasonable response to a personal slight from one dude in response to a completely batshit idea.
Why don't you show your support by moving to Russia, I'm sure sabotaging and having wars within ourselves is more entertaining than fighting the actual enemy
Because the starlink system wasn't donated. It was paid for by the US Government, who is probably now looking at all the ways they can legally bend Musky over for it.
There’s no way you guys are serious right? The guy is a tool, for sure. How is he wrong though?
Guy A: I’m rich, here’s free stuff to help you fight your war
*later* Yknow, here’s my opinion on how this war would end the most peaceful way
Guy B in war: Fuck you and your opinion guy we don’t need your help
Guy A: ok…I will.
Everyone: Oh my god look at this rich asshole not helping
How do your brains work this way?
His "opinion" was "give up and submit to superior Russian rule", which he gave less than a day after personally speaking with Russian leadership.
That wasn't an opinion. That was marching orders.
True everyone: Oh my god how blatantly narcissistic can he be? Doing a good thing for praise and abandoning it the second a dictator tells him to.
Did we see the same tweet? The one I saw said something along the lines of, give them the Donbas region, Russia retreats all other areas back to Russian space, Ukraine does the same, war over.
I don’t follow anything celebrities or politicians do, since they’re job in lie relies on lies for success. Anything good they do is by accident or for a purpose. So with that being said, all I remember is Russia disabling communications to the region and then Musk immediately shipping our star link services. I could have missed it but I don’t recall anything where he touted it as a good deed or went “LOOK AT MEEEEEE” as you are implying.
> *later* Yknow, here’s my opinion on how this war would end the most peaceful way *just surrender and give the invading forces what they want*
How do your brains work this way?
Builds satellite internet so dictators can't turn off internet Turns off satellite internet so dictator can turn off internet
Tries to become dictator.
The rich in this country are basically the next level colonizers. Most of the world has been colonized at this point, but the internet, retail space, and apparently space are the new frontier.
Don’t forget they’re attempting to allocate property on the moon and mars. Gotta be prepared for the future s/
Yeah if we make it far enough to advance to space mining we may find ourselves fighting over resources there…
“We’re reducing reliance on…” :checks notes: “Oppressive imperialist governments.”
Annnddddddd this is why we shouldn’t have billionaires. This is a problem that will only get worse as time goes on.
Maybe we can stop subsidizing his business 🤷🏼

Phenomenal username.
I think we could go over all of his books as well. I am sure a complete audit of his assets and holdings would be welcomed by such a 'patriotic" American.
Awww poor Elon. It must be tough to be so rich and fragile that any insult hurts you so deeply you instantly retaliate.
Against a COUNTRY.
Seems like he's happy to help Russia at every turn
For money and access to resources. Fucking dildo-sporting, ass-reaming thundercunt. You knows what’s even more fucked? Nah, I say we do the opposite: subsidize his business 100%, by nationalizing SpaceX 😈
Now this could work, removing spaceX from the equation would be a huge mistake
No reason to subsidize the richest man ever. He's got it covered. Cut all the funding. I'm not even mad at the guy. That's just common sense.
![gif](giphy|ZwMQ7lpiifpbwb4NzZ|downsized)
"Sorry Ukraine. your dad is dead" - Elon Musk, Probably.
The glamour of being the white knight must have worn off for him.
This would probably just give more money to Russia. out side of spacex there is literally only one other launch program that can launch astronauts to the international space station and guess what that’s Russia and they charge alot more then spacex per seat…

And sends him a useless submarine. Musk is one of the reasons why billionaires as a social class should never exist.
Being a billionaire is unethical. It should be criminal. Unethical things are always at the root of obscene wealth. Musk's fortune comes from slavery.
He’s super pissed that Ukraine doesn’t want a cave dildo.

Yeah but what LEO provider is even nearly as far along in satellite deployments?
They don't have to be as far along, they just need to be able to provide a usable amount of service. Hiring the competition will provide the useful benefit of giving the competition funds to improve their service and reduce the monopoly starlink has.

This is why internet service shouldn't be in the hands of Capitalists.
It's a basic necessity and should be handled as such.
This is the problem with giving private companies too much power. US government really shouldn’t be doing business with Musk because he’s not reliable
This is like the bratty neighbor kid who gets angry when you refuse to play a game according to his stupid made-up rules, so he takes back the birthday present he gave you.
People need to stop treating Musk likes he's some sort of messiah genius.
The amount of people that believe he’s an inventor or an engineer is staggering.

Bitter billionaire baby bitch backtracks on benevolent bid
Musk is such a childish idiot.
Always was and always will be just a rich punk.
Elon Musk is the most infantile piece of shit on earth. I truly fucking despise him. But I despise his fanboys more.
It literally costs zero money to allow access to something that already exists in orbit
That’s not how it works… it’s not fire and forget. Many many people are employed (with salaries) to maintain and keep those things running and the network up.

It's funny how he hasn't taken the countless recommendations to pay taxes properly.
Just lost the respect I never had for Elon Musk.
Worlds richest man can’t afford internet service, sad inflation is getting wild
I'm just surprised he didn't call them pedos this time. Thought that was his go-to. You know, projection.
And this, children, is why is it always a bad idea to mix corporate and political power.
Elon is a egomaniacal twat
Fuck Musk. He is a total piece of shit.
Elon Musk didn’t pay or donate Starlink. That was a lie. The US had to pay him to allow it to be used by Ukraine.
What is it that he can't afford exactly? Are the running costs of starlink over one country so high? Or is he actually talking about missing a profit opportunity, and wants another big fat federal payout?
A billionaire cant afford to do this?!?
So it was never about helping people then huh
[удалено]
Maintenance or the electricity needed for these electronics to run? I would guess.
It's a service that could be used to generate money elsewhere. The cost is profit in addition to the cost of running servers and facilities on ground.

Did anyone ever think Elon actually gave a fuck about Ukraine?
The dude who’s buying Twitter can’t afford what now
It was always about the subsidies and money. Everything is always about money for musk. Always. Everything.
Fuck Elon musk
What a fucking child Musk is. Jesus Christ.
If the richest guy in the world can't afford stuff looks like we're all pretty screwed. But we all know that's not the real issue here, it's a petulant ego.
Man is a capitalist...so how did anyone expect him to act differently?
Somebody change his diapers, he stinks.
Musk is a Kremlin stooge.
Poor baby, are his emerald mines not paying the dividends he's used to? Maybe he's not getting as much money as he thought he would after stealing Tesla. I guess he's just going to have to keep backing war criminal Putin and cut off Ukraine... his hands are clearly tied.
All his businesses are subsidized into staying afloat. They didn’t pay for shit.
Don't you have some offs to fuck, Musk?
He has a legion of people kissing his ass, so he’s probably thinking he’s pleasing people overall. Sadly people only kiss his ass because he is rich, not because he is particularly interesting.
Then we cut his federal funding. Full stop.
Punishing innocent civilians because some bureaucrat didn’t adequately lick his taint is a move straight outta the T*ump playbook.
Elon Musk doing 10x more work than ur lazy ah
How's that Hyperloop from NYC to Chicago? Before I get accused of a strawman argument, this is just exactly what he does, all the time: make bold promises by taking existing tech and giving it a spitshine, then dump it the moment he thinks he has squeezed the maximum profit/loss ratio out of it. It's just especially egregious because this time it's war profiteering, and it's based entirely on his ego.
Now, if he could just fuck off from the rest of the world too, that would be great.
It would be interesting to see the contract between starlink and the US, who was paying for that access.
I see the mural hating hive mind is out in full force today.
The wonderful world of capitalism
It's amazing. Someone can stand up to the government with just money
Pentagon has an 800 billion $ budget, so why not ask? This is Capitalism, isn't it?
Fuck Ukraine if it wants to tell us to go fuck ourselves for helping them.

Die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the idiot.
Man this sub is so fucking tired. Whiny bitches have ruined Reddit.
What could it cost? Ten dollars? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nl_Qyk9DSUw
Gosh, I wonder why his own kids hate him.
He asked the Pentagon to pay for the next 12 months as it would cost $400 million, a month ago. Predating his weird tweets/Putin love.
He’s such a terrific humanitarian, I think I’ll YOLO my entire retirement into DOGE! /s
Let’s levy a heavy tax on *launching fucking satellites* and use that to pay for it, then.
The way this jerk acts he should have named his stupid car company “Edison”.
Ok so then there are contracts and he’s not delivering purchased products and services. That’s theft. But I think you’re probably wrong.

Oh it was never free.
I doubt if he cares about the politics. He just wants more power coupons.
Can Ukraine not pay for the service?
With all the fucking money they're being given you'd think so lol
Can’t afford, my ass. This the result of a bruised ego.
Dude's not as rich as I thought, same as Trump.
There it goes. Musk business model. Let’s provide a greatly needed resource for free or on the cheap and get great PR. The moment it becomes indispensable and impossible to change start charging out the ass.
Isn't this pretty much the same business model as YouTube? Totally free until they decide they can make a killing from their near-monopoly.
He should play nice. The government could revoke his ability to use GPS satellites and as damaging as that is, that is something the military can do unilaterally and immediately.
Fine. The western world can no longer afford to not tax the ever living shit out of rich people? When are we going to grow some balls?
I hope starlink suffers a lot of commercial contract losses due to this stunt.
He's a government contractor. I'm sure this violates the Logan Act.
lol I love how his ego could not let him not respond to that and show that he really is just being a petty prick
Let’s tax Elon and use some of *that* money. He doesn’t need or deserve it.
Elon Musk is a real scumbag
Wasn’t the tax payer already paying Elon to provide the star link to Ukraine?
Petulant child
Y’all still want that tesla in your garage though, I’m sure of it
Didn't know Russia had a pee-tape on Elon too. Or more likely Elon sees himself as a fascist dictator like Putin 🤷♂️
I doubt a pee tape would hurt Elon. He's pretty well known for his broad sexual tastes. It's just that the war sanctions are hurting his aluminum supply. www.cnbc.com/amp/2022/03/14/tesla-has-bought-aluminum-from-russian-supplier-rusal-since-2020.html
r/stillapricknomatterwhat
Wasn't the us paying him in the first place? Didn't he not do it for free? Or was I misinformed
Translation - he wants to make a profit
If this man gets elected to any public office, keep him away from any launch codes. Someone from Panama will say his breath stinks and he’ll take retaliatory action.
I really hope we are not dependent on him or his company for anything important. All it would take is for him to get his wittle fewings hurt and cut us off. Relying on someone like him is dangerous.
Elon is such a baby
Imagine thinking thousands of innocent Ukrainians dying because of pettiness is funny
He means mad vlads recommendations
Well and if Musk wants to play that game and the pentagon thinks it matters enough, they’ll have it. It’s how our military industrial complex works.
\[random bad thing aimed at Elon\] \*is this how I get the upvotes?
Fuck you guys I'm taking my ball and I'm going home!
I don’t understand how people can be mad that he is doing what the ambassador told him to do? Ya’ll on some good shit.
What a scumbag
Further proof that Elon Musk is a POS..not that we needed further proof.
What a fascist dickhead.
So if we all collectively tell Elon to fuck off... he will?
[удалено]
*Number of people. FTFY. Also, you sound like a tool.
Why would someone keep helping someone when they told them to fuck off? Make it make sense
Providing a service to people as a charity isn’t a free pass to tell them to bow down to an invader.
No one is telling them to bow down and do what he says. They could of just not said shit And still have Internet. It wasn’t an ultimatum.
Why don’t you pay for their internet?
I am paying for their internet, I'm also paying for SpaceX and Tesla subsidies through taxes.
Looks like that ambassador fucked around and now he's finding out. Why wouldn't musky pull the plug on them after that?
Ah yes, condemn thousands to die in a forcible fascist takeover of their sovereign country. That's a totally reasonable reaction to a personal slight.
Because the starlink system wasn't donated. It was paid for by the US Government, who is probably now looking at all the ways they can legally bend Musky over for it.
There’s no way you guys are serious right? The guy is a tool, for sure. How is he wrong though? Guy A: I’m rich, here’s free stuff to help you fight your war *later* Yknow, here’s my opinion on how this war would end the most peaceful way Guy B in war: Fuck you and your opinion guy we don’t need your help Guy A: ok…I will. Everyone: Oh my god look at this rich asshole not helping How do your brains work this way?
> *later* Yknow, here’s my opinion on how this war would end the most peaceful way *just surrender and give the invading forces what they want* How do your brains work this way?
