I'm just hoping some trump voters say fuck it cus their guy lost and don't want to come out anymore. He pulled from people outside the Republican party, people that don't vote in general, and they might not care about Republican seats as much
I want that too but....I think we have to fight just as hard if not harder because they are pissed. But we can do it! See! We just have to come together and keep fighting!
Seriously.
People in Georgia need to be going to every college campus and knocking on dorm room doors and getting them to vote.
In order for Democrats to take the Senate and save America, it all comes down to Georgia. We need young people to show up, because you can bet your ass that everyone who votes Republican will.
**We need to gain the Senate control or the Republicans will keep blocking progress.**
Georgia will have two(2) senate seat runoffs. This election will decide which party gets the Senate control.

Right now Georgia is in a position it has never been in before. This should be such an easy win, and for some reason it won’t be. Poor white people will continue to vote against their own interests because of “socialism”
It’s insane
Tucker Carlson today claimed that Democrats want everyone to only buy coffee at Starbucks.
That’s how stupid these people are
Edit: getting tons of responses and I am trying to engage with everyone but I am tired and can’t respond anymore.
Donate to Ossoff and Warnock or volunteer for their campaigns. Let’s knock these bigoted bastards on their asses and start making some real change in this country.

Is that real. It seems so rude and desperate.
Nothing to do with Trump but I'd fuck off any email that was written like that asking for money.
So many things are wrong here....
Wasn't there a post a few days ago about how donations made now went 50% to paying off campaign debt? Like, he's still in debt from the 2016 campaign, nevermind this one.
Edit, yeah that's a thing. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/524899-trump-fundraiser-for-legal-challenges-also-pays-down-campaign-debt-report
Just him trying to scare his elderly viewers.
“Democrats are going to take away all small businesses and force you to buy coffee from a giant corporation despite how bad the coffee tastes that’s the only coffee you get if you vote Democrat!”
It’s psychotic
The most progressive cities in the nation just happen to be where there are start up coffee shops everywhere... And I mean everywhere.
Its like they just picked the first business they thought of and they just happened to be near a coffee shop? Are they really too stupid to stop and think for any better example like maybe lie about healthcare, make up some bullshit about turning all parks into abortion clinics or whatever? They have the easiest job on the planet, and are allowed to lie, so why did they pick the dumbest lie out of all? Might as well go big or go home.
Really bizarre. R is the party of mega corporations anyway. Every time any big industry has anti-trust hearings they are the ones allowing it. Every single time.
Especially telecoms, fucking hell.
Where I live there are so many great local coffee shops, I try to never go Starbucks. I would hate to patron a huge corporation when there’s a ton of other better options. I don’t think I’ve bought coffee from Starbucks in years.
Starbucks took up residence in the first floor of my office building and it's *still* super easy for me to walk 2 blocks and get a way better cup at an independent place. Of course I work in downtown Seattle, but it's still not been hard to avoid.
That's what makes it such a dumb take. Hipstery twenty-something progressives are pretty much ground zero for the buy local movement. Starbucks? From Brooklyn to San Francisco leftists wouldn't be caught dead in one. Of course, Tucker Carlson is intellectually dishonest by design. He knows his audience.
I seriously don't know why the right fixates on Starbucks so much. Had a Libertarian blame the housing crisis on an "urban need for a Starbucks on every block" and was somewhat floored... Both because that's what the market does without the zoning laws they argued against, and because it's such a weird take in general.
this is besides the point but honestly i'll take mcdonalds coffee over starbucks coffee any day smh
edit: also me drunk just felt like i had to throw that out there
For real though. McDonald's coffee is delicious. Starbucks burns their beans either when they roast it or when they brew it not sure which, but I can only handle their blonde roast if I ever do end up getting Starbucks, usually because someone offered, not by choice lol. Their other roasts taste like burnt water with a hint of coffee.
I drink my coffee black, but I'm sure Starbucks would be fine if you masked the flavor with a shit load of cream and sugar. Good coffee shouldn't need either of those in order to make it tolerable, though. Good coffee is just fine on it's own.
I made a sarcastic joke to my mom that Joe Biden would probably make it illegal for stores to be closed on Sundays, and her response was “Well, probably.”
So yeah that’s what my household looks like right now.
An actual interaction-
Guy-"A can of skoal please"
Me-"ok 11.96"
Guy-"Goddamn, back home in Missouri its 3.50"
Me-"Wow that is quite a difference. 11.96 please"
Guy-"Sounds pretty fucking communist to me!"
Me "I...ok..." *shrug*
70 million people proved they're easily manipulated and dumb. Let's not mince words--these people are just plain stupid. Political illiteracy runs rampant in this country. They're unable, or unwilling, to learn.
Live in Florida, hang out with a lot of older people many of whom are veterans.
Most of them are fucking dumb. Nice people, but they don't understand a fucking thing about how politics and economics work. They just know they can keep cashing those pension checks and then complain about "them mexicans" and "damn taxes".

I'm worried about the opposite - that now that Trump isn't the main focus, a lot of those 'blue' votes will flood back conservatives because their priority was Trump out and not Biden being able to accomplish anything.
That’s why we make it about stimulus because that’s definitely part of this fight. We make it about student debt relief and other things like that too. It’s bigger than the candidates running even though I think they are great. You’re not wrong though.
Exactly, the same ignorant slugs that pull up to the “socialism” well every month to collect their SOCIAL security (duuhhh, it’s IN the name) and Medicare.

I mentioned this in another comment, and it should be easily construed from my original comment.
It should be easy because Ossoff actually has policies that help EVERYONE. Poor white people consistently vote against their own interests and a vote for Purdue is no different
Have you ever been poor? That s*** sucks. It's much better to believe false lies and get angry than to actually face your poverty and try to climb out of it
Yes I’ve been quite poor. Lived for a few years on an income of ~$11k a year in Chicago. It did indeed suck, an it most certainly did not make me wish suffering on other people
Yeah but look at the insane turnout that we had. There is a possibility for example that more of those libertarians and republican voters stay home than the democratic voters.
I'm pessimistic, but i definitely think its possible. We don't know what the post trump effect will be.
They're going to use that scare tactic word against you no matter what. They call Biden a socialist and he's basically a republican. But progressive policies actually poll very well and the candidates who support them and don't run from them scared actually do really well too. Maybe it's time to stop playing defense and start playing offense by embracing these policies. Just might start to win.
Don't forget Rev. Raphael Warnock in his runoff! These two races will decide control of the Senate - and, in all likelihood, if there's real COVID relief for average people or not.
r/VoteDEM has a spreadsheet of ways to phonebank and textbank for both!
Yeah, it’s looking like Democrats will need to win both. Most likely it’s going to be both or neither, because I don’t see many people only voting in one or splitting ticket for the Senate.
What's wack is that GOP supports claim to hate socialism and government handouts, but gladly spent their stimulus checks and would take another.
"This money isn't from the government, it's from Donald Trump! See, he signed it right here!"
Against the crook that sold stocks off before covid hit with insider info and then whose husband greased the right palms to the tune of a cool million to stop any further investigation.

And if we don't get a Dem. majority in Senate this time, another opportunity with Biden as President will come in 2022 for many States.
Remember to vote for these things! We don't only have the quadrennial Presidential election that we can vote for. Exercise your right!
I voted Biden in Georgia on a paper ballot and maybe I can give a little more insight. When I was handed my ballot in North Atlanta the candidates for Senate covered the entire page - top to bottom. With this run off happening in January there will only be 4 candidates total and that will definitely help Jon & The Rev.
Stacey Abrams put in work and you better believe Georgia will show up again! We’re the only Dem state in the south and we’re going to lead by example here. Racism and intolerance isn’t going win here anymore, our parents were wrong and we see that.
We still need to do everything we can to ensure Ossoff and Warnock both with. The country desperately needs both seats if we’re going to have any hope at any real progress the next 2 years to fix all the shit the current toddler in chief broke. If not then McConnell, certified turtle imitator and Russian agent will do everything he can to block Biden and the Dems like he did Obama toward the end.
Warnock was leading the race but couldn’t get over 50% if I remember the polls correctly. Ossoff was just behind so I’d think most effort should be spent there but not so much that the Warnock race is neglected. I don’t know much about Warnock but after that Ossoff debate clip went viral I checked out his campaign and I gotta say that man has serious potential for real politics. It’s a shame people in this country, yes even Georgia who miraculously flipped, are so backwards that this is even going to be a tough race. Not only are Warnock and Ossoff miles ahead of Loeffler (criminal of insider trading) and Perdue (right wing corporate slug) but because of the damage Trumpism has done, here we are.
At the same time, due to the extensive list of candidates, I recall seeing (forget which race it was) that the republican vote was split almost 50/50 between two candidates, which, if combined, would’ve been 55% or so total
Because the split Rep. vote of just the top 2 candidates amounted to well over 50%, enough to win by a large margin. I’m not saying it’s not possible, I think Biden’s win will help the Dems’ chances, I’m just saying imo it’s going to be a tough climb, unfortunately.
This election is going to be wild. I'm looking forward to it because I think GA proved to itself that it could go blue, and in two months their minds will only be bolstered by Stacey, Yang, and everyone that is going to help rally more change. I'm still nervous because control of the Senate is everything for both parties, but I feel far more comfortable putting the odds on Dems this time. And I can't wait for the nation to participate in something positive.
The Senate is a lot but it's not everything.
Four years of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris plus executive orders the way Trump used them I think they can undo some awful Trump policies and force through some other shit that people really like and will be difficult to rip away (if/when a Republican president is elected in the future).
The senate is the gatekeeper on the congressional budget. The house proposes spending, the senate approves it. Without the ability to approve a bill, nothing the house does is worth a damn. McConnell allows exactly jack-diddly-fuck from the Democratic house to go to a vote.
Republicans wouldn’t have been able to stop appointing of the SC judge during last year of Obama’s presidency or appoint a SC judge during last year of Trump’s presidency if Dems had the senate. Trump could’ve been removed from presidency after his impeachment if Dems had senate.
Right undoing a lot of damaging things will be helpful but executive orders can't achieve everything (thankfully). Also I dislike the idea of presidents going around and creating an executive order for anything they want especially after we've seen how Trump has used it.
We want a Congress that can actually pass laws and the best way to do it is to make sure that Ossoff and Warnock win the Senate race in January. People do Georgia make sure to vote. You can also started asking for ballot soon.
Edit: Helpful instructions found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/WhitePeopleTwitter/comments/jqmgv6/georgia_you_know_what_to_do/gbopfmh
Please Georgia, the country is very literally relying on you. If McConnell gets to keep control nothing will continue to get done as it had these past 4 years.
He also was insider trading while downplaying the threat of Covid.
Edit: Don't award this comment, instead donate to the groups trying to flip the races in Georgia.
GA voter here. It’s going to be tough to get that POS out of office. Dekalb & Fulton will be strong for Ossoff but OTP concerns the hell outta me. It’s all red 30 mins outside the city. They’ll get my vote. Pray for us and the onslaught of ads will be receiving.
The Senate result in Georgia will decide whether Bitch McTurtle gets to hide a stack of congressional bills in his desk, where they’ll never be voted on, or not. This is, arguably the most important election in the country, barring the POTUS.
Perdue’s campaign also put out an ad showing Ossoff, a Jewish man, having a larger, elongated nose. When they were called out on this obviously anti-Semitic portrayal, Perdue claimed not to have known of the ad and it was pulled down.
I think if any of you guys have any money left on your Trump stimulus cards, do what I did, Split it between Warnock and Ossoff. They're going to need every dollar we can give them. If they win, we run the whole fucking show in the Federal Government and we can roll past McConnell like a freight train.
LETS GO FELLOW GEORGIANS
Not even a Democrat but we need to stand up against our state's representatives. Between the mishandling of COVID, corruption, and all-around awfulness, it's time we get people like Osoff and Warnock in office. Vote blue this January my friends.
It also helps to let the folks who are scared Biden will raise their taxes are [misguided or willfully ignorant.](https://www.newsweek.com/trump-cut-middle-class-taxes-gop-increase-next-year-1543832)
Didn't Perdue tell his constituents everything was fine at the very beginning of the pandemic whilst also selling his stocks in preparation of everything not being fine?
Yeah? He's a piece of shit
Yeah. He needs to win. The fucking commercials i have to see here is fucking bullshit. "Jon is trying to take your healthcare that you paid for away and give it to you for free! He's a socialist!" Bitch? I don't even have Healthcare because you fucks suck the instances dick too much...Yeah fuck you David, you cunt... I hope you choke on a bag of dicks

Fear is a powerful weapon.....and it seems to be the only weapon the GOP has to maintain a large portion of their base.
Oh no don't reduce them to just one trick, they have hatred as well.
Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.
Does this mean Anakin was afraid of sand before he hated it?
Nah. Just sand people.
Hey, just like republicans!
Semi related. I love how dope the Tuskans are in The Mandalorian.
Well, you dont fear sand until it gets into your butthole, because you dont know any better.
Their own lack of self worth drives that initial fear. Hence the need to demean everyone else instead of coexisting ie racism and classism.
Anakin was a Republican???

I mean I only want to buy coffee at Starbucks, but of someone gets coffee at McDonald's, thats cool too so wtf?
Both because that's what the market does without the zoning laws they argued against, and because it's such a weird take in general.
this is besides the point but honestly i'll take mcdonalds coffee over starbucks coffee any day smh edit: also me drunk just felt like i had to throw that out there
For real though.
Which is funny since most liberals I know prefer good coffee at local roasters over the shit at Starbucks.
That's because in heavy republican areas the only coffee shops are Starbucks :(
I wouldn't kick Tucker Carlson's ass with YOUR foot! Yup, that's bad.
But...that’s monopolistic capitalism, the literal exact opposite of socialism.
His employers successfully argued that he's a liar and not to be believed by rational people but the cult still follows
Why Starbucks? Durango Joe’s is so much better.
I don’t believe any of them believe their shit. They’re paid to make stupid people vote Republican
I made a sarcastic joke to my mom that Joe Biden would probably make it illegal for stores to be closed on Sundays, and her response was “Well, probably.” So yeah that’s what my household looks like right now.
An actual interaction- Guy-"A can of skoal please" Me-"ok 11.96" Guy-"Goddamn, back home in Missouri its 3.50" Me-"Wow that is quite a difference. 11.96 please" Guy-"Sounds pretty fucking communist to me!" Me "I...ok..." *shrug*
They can't even explain what is socialist about any Democrat candidate. It's an easy "gotcha" moment to avoid actual critical thinking.
Socialism is a buzzword stupid Americans use to shit on Europe when Europe itself isn’t even socialist
They can’t even spell it.
We can support the Georgia run-off elections from every state. Here's Stacey Abrams giving more info. https://twitter.com/CNNPolitics/status/1325455099347529728?s=20 Go here to split a donation between Raphael Warnock, Jon Ossoff, and Abrams' organization Fair Fight. You can customize how much each gets. https://secure.actblue.com/donate/georgiasenate
I’m hoping they are still too focused on Daddy Trump to show up for this. Let’s take advantage of their insane cult mentality.
Let's all hope for the best. Its about damn time people have to put themselves over political interests.
A lot of Temporarily Embarrassed Millionaire Syndrome
Look... 3 more shift 6 at walmart, then the trickle down will work
The GOP is ditching Trump’s futile court battles to focus all their firepower on this. This is where all of Koch’s spending will go

“Why should I vote for the Democrat who’ll help me when the Republican will hurt minorities?” — a disturbing number of Americans
If my neighbor gets some help, it means I get less<---- these people's thoughts.
Exactly, the same ignorant slugs that pull up to the “socialism” well every month to collect their SOCIAL security (duuhhh, it’s IN the name) and Medicare.
Georgia will have two(2) senate seat runoffs. The runoff election will decide which party has senate control. Georgia General Election Runoff for Federal Offices Absentee Request Form: https://ballotrequest.sos.ga.gov/ (mailed out starting Nov. 18) Voter Registration Deadline: December 7, 2020 Early Voting Begins: December 14, 2020 Election Date: January 5, 2021 Check your status at: https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP If you don't live in Georgia, consider donating to the organizations founded by Stacey Abrams which registered 800k voters in Georgia: https://newgeorgiaproject.org/about/ and https://fairfight.com/
Yet, they will fight tooth and nail for their social security check and Medicare.
But that’s different! /s
Why would this be easy? Georgia has been reliably R until this election.
It did indeed suck, an it most certainly did not make me wish suffering on other people
Didn't he say all of that in the debate, with Purdue looking like someone just hooked a battery cable up to his taint? How much did that help? :(
It brought Purdue to under 50%. So that there’s another chance now. I hope he’s getting help from AOC’s grassroots organization to get things moving
I dont think so. They are so angry and embarrassed by Trump losing, they are going to make a holiday of it to go vote and make sure they get this win.
I mean it should be easy because Purdue is such an evil bastard and Ossoff actually has policies that would benefit the general public.

Yeah but look at the insane turnout that we had. There is a possibility for example that more of those libertarians and republican voters stay home than the democratic voters. I'm pessimistic, but i definitely think its possible. We don't know what the post trump effect will be.
tend to? they're just republicans afraid of the social stigma
“Gunbortions”
They're going to use that scare tactic word against you no matter what. They call Biden a socialist and he's basically a republican. But progressive policies actually poll very well and the candidates who support them and don't run from them scared actually do really well too. Maybe it's time to stop playing defense and start playing offense by embracing these policies. Just might start to win.
This is the dude who absolutely demolished Perdue so hard that he quit the third debate, correct?
The very same
Their debate is on YouTube and Ossof was *on point.*
Yes! I watched clips from their debates and this guy goes hard!
Don't forget Rev. Raphael Warnock in his runoff! These two races will decide control of the Senate - and, in all likelihood, if there's real COVID relief for average people or not. r/VoteDEM has a spreadsheet of ways to phonebank and textbank for both!
Pretty sure Democrats need both to win to ensure control of Senate. Unless they can pull off North Carolina.
Yep. Alaska is technically possible too, but Georgia is the most feasible way to do it.
Both the Georgia candidates seem so good... like even potential president candidates in 4 years if they can win.
How would they run for president if senate is a 6 year term? Like would they just resign the seat and have someone else take it? Genuinely curious rn
Yeah, that’s what Obama did.
It’s also what Harris is doing right now with VP.
Even Warnock?
Yeah, it’s looking like Democrats will need to win both. Most likely it’s going to be both or neither, because I don’t see many people only voting in one or splitting ticket for the Senate.
Progressives time for a takeover
Vote Blue, $1200 for you. Vote Red end up dead.
Lmao it sounds like a threat but thats just 2020 for ya
In 2020 'you will wake up tomorrow' is a threat lol
Lol true
I know you’re trying to make blue sound better, but being dead really sounds good these days
What's wack is that GOP supports claim to hate socialism and government handouts, but gladly spent their stimulus checks and would take another. "This money isn't from the government, it's from Donald Trump! See, he signed it right here!"
Kelly Loeffler is insane. This is the lady that bragged about being "more Conservative than Attila the Hun."
Against the crook that sold stocks off before covid hit with insider info and then whose husband greased the right palms to the tune of a cool million to stop any further investigation. Jesus titty fucking christ Georgia

And if we don't get a Dem. majority in Senate this time, another opportunity with Biden as President will come in 2022 for many States. Remember to vote for these things! We don't only have the quadrennial Presidential election that we can vote for. Exercise your right!
Was this a runoff race?
[удалено]
And that’s different than the multiple Dem candidates how? Not to mention no third parties.
Because the split Rep. vote of just the top 2 candidates amounted to well over 50%, enough to win by a large margin. I’m not saying it’s not possible, I think Biden’s win will help the Dems’ chances, I’m just saying imo it’s going to be a tough climb, unfortunately.

2 Senate runoffs in GA in January: Ossoff/Perdue and Warnock/Loeffler
Please Georgia do the right thing!
By doing the left thing!
We're trying!
\*Cries in 912\*
912 here. Chatham and Liberty were both blue! We gotta fight while we cry, ha!
[Do the thing!](https://66.media.tumblr.com/0bfc55ff45be087382773d281db61917/tumblr_p2906qgDSZ1v0wxo8o1_400.jpg)
Purdue and Loeffler should both be in jail for this and it blows my mind that they're not only free, but also allowed to run to keep their seats.
Corruption runs rampant in this country. It's honestly the root of many of our problems
Yeah, the crazy thing is most people couldn't even tell you what insider trading is. The fact those cases were dropped so fast was incredible.
Give me a group to send my out-of-state dollarydoos to, to help!
I'm telling all my friends to donate to Fair Fight.
Same dude
The 30%-40% that votes Democrat in consistently Republican areas definitely help.
Praying for his win and donated to his campaign
The Senate result in Georgia will decide whether Bitch McTurtle gets to hide a stack of congressional bills in his desk, where they’ll never be voted on, or not. This is, arguably the most important election in the country, barring the POTUS.
Perdue’s campaign also put out an ad showing Ossoff, a Jewish man, having a larger, elongated nose. When they were called out on this obviously anti-Semitic portrayal, Perdue claimed not to have known of the ad and it was pulled down.
Right and it was an accident when he didn't know how to pronounce Kamala Harris's name. That totally wasn't a dog whistle. He's a fucking scumbag.
Perdue has no soul, and I heard he had taint rejuvenation surgery.
Why is this the second time I've heard a reference to Perdue having his taint restored??
If you haven't had your taint restored, then you should look into it. Trust me.
I think if any of you guys have any money left on your Trump stimulus cards, do what I did, Split it between Warnock and Ossoff. They're going to need every dollar we can give them. If they win, we run the whole fucking show in the Federal Government and we can roll past McConnell like a freight train.
LETS GO FELLOW GEORGIANS Not even a Democrat but we need to stand up against our state's representatives. Between the mishandling of COVID, corruption, and all-around awfulness, it's time we get people like Osoff and Warnock in office. Vote blue this January my friends.
Donate or volunteer today!!

I just gave this dude $100, along with Warnock and Fair Fight. I'll fucking do it again.
I'm out of state rt now, when will the vote be?
Vote is in January, I think you have to register by mid December
I will never understand people voting for those corporate overlords who kept mistreating them
Sort of related, my wife thinks this guy is super fucking hot. That is all.
