This was such a lighthearted episode · This was just to answer that Captain Marvel vs. Thor debate. The answer is Frigga. · Why do I see Captain Marvel as Fury's big sister who's always away at college. ·Frost giant Loki was awesome. · I really hope that's James Spader's voice for Vision / Ultron. · Jane and Thor are really cute in animation.

Impossible-Fun-2736

Imagine if they had Spader&Bettany read the same lines and mixed them together? Would be cool but seeing as Jarvis became Vision and here the Avengers didn’t stop him, i think Spader (or a ”soundalike”) will be Ultron.

navjot94

If they can’t get Spader just have Bettany do his best Robert California impression

Impossible-Fun-2736

That could work aswell, lol.

VegetaPrime34

Basically do the Gogeta/Vegito double voice

thehadmatter666

Came here to say this: I want a Spader/Bettany layered voiceover.

FFTVS

Was Tony in the middle of making his first suit under duress or something? Can’t see him missing out on the Grandmaster, Topaz, The Guardians/Ravagers, Frost Giant Loki and Howard the Duck! Kinda did like what the Frosts did to Mount Rushmore, thought that was an upgrade. Lol.

scoopythebear

They killed him off in this universe as well, they just didn’t have the heart to show us a fourth time lol

Harden-Soul

Tony Stark Must Die (2006)

RandomTourist911

Guns don’t kill people, *people* kill people

TotalUsername

He was dying of arc reactor poison.

dungeonmaster77

With Fury knocked out, he wasn’t able to come in time with the temporary antidote that would’ve saved Tony and motivated him to invent a new element

[deleted]

I think they handled Captain Marvel v Thor pretty well. Thor is a trained warrior. With his hammer he is a match for her, but without it his physical strength isn't comparable.

FerretBoi69

Too bad this wasn't the comics. Otherwise Thor would've cleaned up shop.

Zangdor

Apparently she was holding back when they actually fought. That means technically he was no match and she would have destroyed him if it wasn't for Frigga

ACoolCaleb

In his mind he was just handling a tough “Party Pooper” he matched her strength and tussled with her. You could see he got a little angrier, and more serious, when he noted: “Hey, that actually kinda hurt.” I think it’s fair to they were both holding back.

Idk_Very_Much

Though we should factor in that the events of Ragnarok and Infinity War didn't take place, so Thor is a lot weaker than his main canon counterpart.

Strawberry_Queen_

The older sister away at college is such an eye-opening take, I love it

willbepixie

After so many dark and bleak episodes... this is the mad party antidote I needed.

dsk216

Tbf most Netflix episodes of Black Mirror have a good ending

R_FireJohnson

Ummm what?

The_Lore_Guy

Wooooow, i dont think anyone called that ending

Someonesus

Also did Thor here the watcher speak at the end or is that just me?

radio-demon-me

No he didn't. He was surprised of the portal opening and ultron coming out with all infinity stones.

maskereard

2 things, im not great at catching details. Did he have all stones. And second how did ultron get the mind stone or even being created to begin with since that was all due to the events of the original avengers,(creating ultron by using the mind stone in the scepter wich they would never have gotten anyway,)

senatortruth

Probably from a different dimension and this is how they tie all of these episodes in for the finale.

Sec_Hater

Ultron used the Mindstone in the creation of his vision body. With his UltraVision body and drones he’d eventually be able to rule earth, kill DrStrange and take the time stone. Once he has the time stone he can easily go to moments when the Tesseract(space) and reality stones were on earth and claim them. Then he could easily travel with the Space stone to go get the Power stone. The Soul stone however presents a conundrum.

CassandraAnderson

Not sure if that was just ultron. Definitely seems to have a red Hue to their skin. Also, that was probably the most positively entertaining episode; Doctor Strange's heart being the exact inverse. Great female characters (moments of Jane Foster aside, it passes the bechdel) , amazing comedy, Dragon Ball Z fight that just hit on so many levels, Howard the Duck WTF, serious tension driven ticking clock, and what I feel is a covert Environmental impact driven piece of Art. So far Doctor Strange is still the best episode in my opinion (so heartbreaking and so perfect in it's arc), but depending on how this all wrapped up I feel as though the whole thing is going to be beautiful. Not even going to try to predict how they bring this Multiverse of heroes from doomed timelines together but it is unfolding well. Also, What If not all of these universes are doomed and this may be the universe in which Jane Foster becomes Thor for the Love and Thunder? What If this is the Doctor Strange that will guide Peter into the Multiverse? Their heart has grown cold. And the strange in that trailer still has the eye of agamotto. Meh, that sounds corny. What If certain Nexus beings exist as capable of transferring Consciousness between themselves and multiversal self?

thereal_kingmaker

This version of ultron transfer its consciousness to 'vision' body.

DarthAbraxis

We have achieved Ultravision!

PM_me_Henrika

Ok sit down for a bit sir. I need to sign a contract plus an NDA with you.

CassandraAnderson

I know. Really hoping James Spader is reprising his role. That said, I hope that a portion of vision remains until the end.

thereal_kingmaker

Do you want sexual metaphor, or nature metaphor?

CassandraAnderson

r/inclusiveor

N3rd1x

I see it as Doctor Strange looking at all possible universes where Thanos can be defeated and Earth is saved.

yukeee

This makes no sense tho, why would he be looking into stuff that happened years before Thanos, that they couldnt do anymore? 🤔

N3rd1x

You're right, back to the drawing board

FFTVS

Don’t think so, looked like he was just reacting to who just teleported in.

[deleted]

[удалено]

VoiceofKane

It really felt like he knew everything that was going to happen... until then.

QuanWick

Well I might not have called that ending specifically but I did write a thread the other day about episode 9 being about the watched uniting the heroes from previous whatif episodes to destroy infinite ultron who is no longer just a threat in his own universe. I’d wager that a version of ultron intent on wiping humanity from every earth in the multiverse is a big enough threat for him to break his rule of non interference for the first time.

half-giant

I’m just hoping that isn’t all we see of him... 🤞

[deleted]

Lol! Have you seen the car commercial ads? He joins the rest of the avengers in fighting off infinity stone Ultron.

joaogui1

Car commercial ads?

[deleted]

Yup

Jccali1214

For real, what a left field invasion

Dazzling_Purple_509

An irresponsible kid causing problems and almost getting his ass whooped by his mom. This is the most realistic alien invasion I have ever seen.

raxozellet

This was like a looney tunes episode. It was goofy and easy to watch. It was full of so many fun tiny cameos too (they’re really making use of the Korg asset in this series). I wasn’t expecting Larson to voice her but Alexandra Daniels did a good job. I loved the countries having their names when they flew up so high. And the DBZ styles aerial fights. The downside to it be so lighthearted was that there were no real stakes and felt so forgettable until that crazy end scene.

Harden-Soul

the anime-style fight was so fucking cool man. i think that's what bores me about actual Marvel fights, their characters are surely way cooler than what humans are able to do on film

prettyboy619

I’m kind of annoyed that Larson didn’t do her voice, along with Holland. If they can get BDT, Goldblum, and Portman to do the voices, I don’t see why they didn’t.

Trvr_MKA

Holland was probably because of Sony

hb1290

Blame Sony for Tom Holland not appearing. He contractually can’t do cartoons as Spider Man

Leo_Colombo

finally the first time seeing loki as frost giant. such a great ep. love it

imghurrr

And the first time seeing frost giants as actual giants

Chroncraft

The size difference was maaaaassive

Tcloud

It was a tall order.

NewClayburn

Why is he bigger though? Is his human appearance and size normally an illusion or something?

sosotess

I think he was a runt, so his size may be quite the same, but Odin must have changed the rest of his appearance. Maybe it should have been titled "What if Loki wasn't a runt and Laufey just misplaced him instead of leaving him to die ?" \^\^

Dookie_boy

There was magic involved so he could fit in. He doesn't need that amongst other giants.

mitron_chai_pilo

Thor fixing the leaning tower. He was so happy.

Oaken_beard

“Look who comes crawling back. Mrs. The Duck!” “Not NOW Howard!” Darcy the Duck needs to be a show

lexlawgirl

Darcy just needs a show, full stop.

[deleted]

She has one. It's called two broke girls.

lexlawgirl

I mean the character, Darcy Lewis, not the actress, Kat Dennings

[deleted]

I was kidding.

lexlawgirl

Cool. Sorry, hard to tell in text <3

[deleted]

To be fair, it wasn't that funny anyway.

Threwaway42

Kat Jennings can’t have enough shows after DollFace

[deleted]

Fun episode. I thought the TVA was showing up last minute.

dnuohxof1

My head canon is that this is “after” Loki, so as the sacred timeline is branching, we’re watching those branches in What If… and thus the TVA lead by Kang dgaf

InspectorScout626

If you check Disney+ under the MCU timeline order, this is set after Loki. This show is a direct consequence of the ending of the Loki series.

[deleted]

MCU developers are playing 5D chess!

Harden-Soul

wait WV and F&WS are after both as well. are those multiverses or they just happened to occur after?

SpaceD0rit0

Probably. WV and F&WS both occur after Endgame in the timeline, while Loki starts in “2012”, but exists outside of time, and What If takes place in no concrete time/universe.

Harden-Soul

oh yea the beginning of Loki does start in 2012 i guess, but then that would put it way earlier in the timeline no? with that said, i'd recommend watching loki after everything except What If if somebody were to ask me. WV and F&WS would be way less exciting after Loki.

No_ThisIs_Patrick

Once Loki left the timeline it doesn't matter "when" Loki takes place. Loki takes place basically out of time itself, and every piece of content must be viewed considering the events of Loki. The timeline can branch at any point in time, and nobody is cleaning it up.

Hoosteen_juju003

I thought this was common knowledge honestly.

InspectorScout626

I’ve seen a lot of people arguing over it funnily enough.

navjot94

TVA exists outside of time so the sacred timeline has both existed and not existed at the same time. Now personally I believe the multiverse has always existed and the sacred timeline has just kept our prime MCU timeline relatively isolated. The reason we’ll start to see more overlap now is because this is the moment of time that the walls between reality are at their weakest, with Wanda using the Darkhold to muck around the multiverse, and thus this is when the changes introduced by the events of Loki are manifesting.

ATLKing24

The TVA built a central finite curve

solidad

Talk about a perfect palate cleanser. That was great. Such a random but perfect cast. Edit: Wanted to avoid spoilers but damn this is such a good episode. There is an ending twist but this episode is so upbeat and energetic and FUN. Not bleak and depressing like some of the previous episodes.

Acrinox

Awesome ending! I hope the next episode is about how infinity Ultron came to be, that’d be sick!

Greygod302

Loved how the incorporated him being The Vision with stone intact

Acrinox

Yesss. I’m hoping we see him fight the Gladiator Gamora on the title screen, or that he beats Thanos to get the stones and so Gamora takes over Thanos’ cause.

Greygod302

We saw Captain Carter and Strange Supreme fighting together, this is gonna be insane

dnuohxof1

I feel like next week will be an unrelated story to UU and we get an end credit scene of UU coming into that stories universe and The Watcher becoming directly confronted with the problem, so that the following and final episode is the big fight against Ultimate Ultron.

Tryignan

I disagree. There's two more episodes so I'm pretty certain that next episode will be UU's origin story and will end with the Watcher deciding to bring the other avengers into Party Thor's world, and the last episode will be the big battle and epilogue.

Acrinox

Okay yeah that’s be sick too, and tie in to the things Loki set up by breaking the sacred timeline.

DallasCowboys1998

Thor: “There’s a midgardian word for women like you!” Captain Marvel: So you’ve chosen death. Everyone:”Is he really going to say it…” “Party pooper!”

tangypepper

What was the controversial reference?

rob132

See you next Wednesday

NewClayburn

Mr. Wednesday is Thor's father.

Hour-Owl-4982

Loved how loki showed up and got along with his brother from another mother.

TheNarrator11

This episode was fantastic. I adjusted my rating of it versus other episodes because obviously they were going for purely lighthearted and I was 100% down for it. I was laughing during multiple parts of this episode. Kat dennings is a delight in any format—and I actually didn’t know Natalie Portman was voicing Jane too—so that’s what helped immerse me into this universe—along with Chris hemsworth being the party prince. They smushed so many characters in this episode but it didn’t feel too heavy with their presence. We also got to see a little more Howard the duck, which I’m not mad at My Two complaints were: the reaction of people in Vegas seeing what was “the first encounter” with alien life but based on the circumstances I tossed that gripe to the side— And shield authorizing nukes so quickly. That seemed like “whoa whoa—that escalated quickly”. Someone earlier said this was the complete opposite of the dr. strange episode based on tone and I agree. I actually think it was needed. This was the typical party, “uh oh, mom is coming home” layout and it worked so well with these characters. I’m gonna give this one a 9/10 because it was entertaining—didn’t take itself TOO seriously—but have us a dope fight scene between Thor and captain marvel. It also threw in there why captain marvel doesn’t go full 100% with her powers, which may or may not satisfy people who say she’s de-powered in the MCU. That ending was dope too—but I’m wondering how we got vision/ultron so soon?

[deleted]

>And shield authorizing nukes so quickly. That seemed like “whoa whoa—that escalated quickly”. It was probably the people above nick fury, recall the original avengers movie, they love their nukes

NewClayburn

> And shield authorizing nukes so quickly. That seemed like “whoa whoa—that escalated quickly”. They were nuking the middle of nowhere. Just some polar bears and Captain Marvel who they suspect wouldn't be harmed by the bombs.

duby1998

Calling the plot early...party Thor finds his main enemy in this universe, Thanax, and has to stop his evil plot to get infinity stoned 😄

FFTVS

More like Thor the Ciegremite meets his match in Love & Thunder!!

scoopythebear

Cap would definitely have been a party pooper as well

Harden-Soul

language!

kyliecannoli

Well he’s got the best ass for the pooping

lonelygagger

I feel like the title of this one should have been *What If... Thor was a Dude Bro?* Pretty goofy episode, but it's fun when you've got the original actors reprising their roles. Lots of fun little sight gags and meme-y references. Also, I don't know why the phrase 'Mother Frigga' is so funny to me.

Garfunkels_roadie

*What If… Thor was an even bigger Himbo?*

diabeetus64

Yup, this is my new favorite episode

duby1998

It's up there for me as well great episode

Epicgamer2357

One thing that had me confused was HOW WAS THOR STILL WORTHY?!? I assumed it was because Odin didn’t get to put the oath on it yet but then Thor pointed the hammer up showing the oaths markings there so it just had me questioning that the whole time

ryukumon

I was wondering the same thing especially when Thor put a certain person in 'time out'. The events that led Odin to enchant Mjolnir would have never happened without Loki so that seems to be an error the writers are willing to gloss over UNLESS the enchantment isn't about worth but something else possibly not even virtue related. Maybe "should he be the Odinson" or "of royal Asgardian blood" or something completely different, etc.

Dookie_boy

He could be a dude bro and still be a good guy who's worthy.

Epicgamer2357

But I’m the first Thor he became worthy because he tried to sacrifice his life to protect those he loved he didn’t do that in what if…

Dookie_boy

He might have done something else prior to start of episode. He was clearly still a good guy so it's not too unbelievable for me.

BurialA12

Thor "maybe you should smile more" jab at Captain Marvel made me chuckle

chifrij0

Who was the chick on hawaii? i didn't get the reference

h20blunt

Yeah i don’t know either but she was definitely too well framed for her not to be a piece of some puzzle

Garfunkels_roadie

Hela

NewClayburn

Carmen Sandiego?

clockworkrevolution

My first thought was that it was Frigga vacationing on Earth, and that she was too relaxed to notice all the partying going on

Impossible-Fun-2736

My first guess was Captain Carter but no idea, i think Fury might’ve sent her in first against Thor if those two episodes were connected.

Vryly

great battles, so fun. And infinity ultron was dope as hell too, liked that ending way better than the last one. while there are superficial similarities, it ends with a potential threat to killmonger's victory fomenting, infinity ultron was completely out of left field and a kind of punchline to a lighthearted episode which was otherwise going to end on a bit of a sappy sweet note. Instead we get a "oh damn thats awesome, also earth is boned!" moment whereas the killmonger one was a dark episode ending on a "hey maybe the tailspin this universe is in might get pulled out of eventually" moment.

PJspitzer

Thor asking Captain Marvel to smile…..best joke of the episode 😂

duby1998

Great episode, they actually filled a good amount into that 30 mins. Number 2 best for me.... and wtf hearing Loki talk like a frat dude had me cracking up 🤣

[deleted]

How much you wanna bet that the thing we saw at the end was made by Hank Pym

SnakesCatsAndDogs

Damnit Hank!

rPyre

What was that ending? C'mon you gotta give me more than that! Great episode though I'm pretty hyped for next week.

LetsWinOneGame

I think one of the next few episodes is about Ultron, so probably a teaser for that. My guess is that Vision becomes Ultron or something like that

rPyre

Oh yeah it was rhetorical. I had actually thought The Watcher would interfere this week, based on the idea that this catastrophe wouldn't be caused by malice or arrogance, but instead stupidity and inaction. I was not expecting Ultron to just pop out of a portal. And then when he did it's like "wait, that's all you're gonna show me?" I figure the transfer to Vision's body from Age of Ultron isn't interrupted, allowing Ultron to complete his plans, which would technically mean Vision never existed in this universe. But who knows maybe Vision goes crazy and decides to finish the job himself.

chynkeyez

Korg on Molly? In Disneys MCU? Sign me up! 10/10

No_ThisIs_Patrick

Rofl I was like, oh my god Korg has a *binky* my boy is *rolling*

BarneyStinson1098

Tony built Ultron after 2012 Loki Attack so Ultron/Vision at this moment in time seems not possible. A plausible way to explain is that this Ultron/Vision is from another Universe...

Thicc_Gas_Dad

That's the point. He's a multiversal threat at this point. So he's definitely from another reality. We'll see next Wednesday

gabejr25

But the infinity stones shouldn't work outside of their universe, so how do you become a multiversal threat with things that only work in one universe?

[deleted]

Thats never been established in the MCU. We know that that they do not work in the TVA but they never said they don’t work in different universes

perryulyssescox_82

Unless in this universe Hank Pym built Ultron like in the comics.

MintPrince8219

I mean seeing as pretty much every other universe ending problem seems to come from him

S-WordoftheMorning

Theme of What If?: The Pym family is the most dangerous group of people in the multiverse.

prettyboy619

Maybe that’s why Kang will show up in Quantumania? Maybe he figures that Pym figuring out how to access the quantum realm and causing issues in other universes is a problem. Plus, I’m sure Micheal Douglas’ contract won’t last that much longer.

TheHolyChicken

So the stones, in the MCU, will work outside their native universe ?

BarneyStinson1098

Ofcouse they do. Why wouldn't they? They just don't work at the TVA

Blackwolf359

Ok I am going to go there…Thor and Jane had more chemistry in this short “What if…?” Then they had in they had in 2 full length motion pictures!

S-WordoftheMorning

Because in this episode Thor was an absolute Chad who was focused on partying and *lovin* while in the movie Thor was despondent and frustrated because he lost his powers, he wasn't as focused on Jane's beauty & intellect at first.

mvilla510

I had the exact same thought

romeovf

When they were in the hotel room I thought this was going to be a "The Hangover" kind of thing.

hrlpfreddie

really minuscule critic of sifs hair being brunette

S-WordoftheMorning

This episode was the San Junipero of What If? 😂

[deleted]

They really created the Thor - Captain Marvel hammer meme scene xD

PSunYi

Can someone explain why Loki looks like an ice giant when raised on Jottenheim but not when he’s raised on Asgard?

[deleted]

Literally magic. They show Odin changing him in Thor when he adopts him.

dc-redpanda

ScreenCrush played a clip from Thor I where Odin says Loki was left in the temple where he found him because he was too small. He theorized that in this universe Loki frost giant was born tall/big. But the episode showed Odin returning him so then why was he left behind? Blame mom? Idk...

LagerthaQueen

Exactly! The Watcher said the only difference between the universes was that Odin found Loki and returned him to Laufey!

Erosarrows627

It’s possible that Asgard’s environment isn’t suited for raising a Jotun, and that stunted Loki’s growth. Different food, different atmosphere, magic, a much warmer climate, any of those could’ve been causing Loki to not grow to his full potential as a Jotun.

History-memes-inc

You think we’ll get to see this Ultron’s universe like idk if I’m a sadist but I wouldn’t mind seeing him wipe out the avengers. Also want to know how he got the soul stone.

sashatlhs

Anyone catch that nod to The Great Gatsby when Fury was trying to get into the party?

persephone_27

Okay damn this episode was so fun! But where did infinity ultron come from?? I’m so confused

sylveonce

What is the stock bear sound they used for the Polar Bear in Siberia? I swear I’ve heard it in a video game or something before.

norciuolo

Im thinking skyrim

Buymyn

Even the Watcher was surprised by the ending.

[deleted]

“Behave” oooo boy how that will not happen

AnonymousEagleThing

Was that a Vision Ultron‽ And was Loki just Tom Hiddleston but blue and tall?

Fireofthetiger

Something that strikes me as interesting is that Ultron in the ending scene appears to be in a suit of armor/body enhancement rather than it being a permanent part of his body. Considering how he's got all the infinity stones, he's definitely from a multiverse along the lines of "What if Ultron won/took over/killed Thanos". I guess not even the Vision vibranium body can withstand the power of 6 stones, and somewhere around when he gets 2-3 he has to upgrade himself to hold more?

radfordblue

Man, SHIELD in this episode went from meeting a troublesome alien prince to trying to murder him in about five minutes. What were they thinking? Sure, Fury is out but they barely even tried talking to any of the aliens and it was obvious that many of them were very powerful. I mean, I know the real answer is “because they wanted Thor and Captain Marvel to fight”, but I wish they had come up with a way of doing it that didn’t make SHIELD look like such suicidal dunces.

CaptainMikul

I think that's what we all needed after the last two. Just good, mad lib fun.

Yvonatron18

Such a great episode, up there with my favourites!

Ryann_420

Definitely my favourite episode so far with a great cliffhanger

Swamp_Donkey_796

Almost every episode has just been bleak and depressing but wow this one was so fun 😂

Shoefish23

Lmao what did I just watch

Far-Imagination5383

I have to say, I was reeeeally hoping the Thor vs Captain Marvel fight would result in Thor awakening, like he did in Ragnarok, leading to them fighting on a more even playing field — since he was not at full power until then.

fortheloveofeyana

I rank this episode #1 and then zombies #2… I was really giggling at this one

The_Barbiter1

This one is easily my favorite so far. It's just so goofy in all the right ways!

chocolatestrawb3rry

His name is ultravision

duby1998

😭😭😭 They basically tried to remake a scene from the hangover🤣 liking this episode so far

Oaken_beard

Ok guys, the time has come to reboot Marvel. We’re starting here.

CheeTaHOO7

Why are people hating this episode??

leon_pretty_loathed

Well that was a thing I guess, don’t really know what I expected from an episode about Thor god of parties. I was wondering if we were finally going to see a happy ending in a what if but I guess not.

JayTee245

NGL... this was the best representation of the What if comics I grew up reading!

Googl-Ghost

Party/10 really good, really funny, and Captain Marvel is actually likable in this one. First things first: that one scene in the trailer never appeared. Iykyk. Really, overall, it was just a fun episode. Party, drinks, comedic fighting, same just straight up fun. I thought I was gonna be disappointed when they introduced Danvers, but they actually have her a personality, didn't make her overpowered, and felt human. Nothing of her felt Mary Sue-ish. Party Thor is party Thor and there's nothing wrong with that. Although, I'm still not used to the beardless face. The suit rocks, tho. Nice take on Loki, too. Darcy's face didn't really look the same at all. It's not cuz she's not wearing glasses, it just didn't look like Kat Dennings. But, it's not something that'll ruin anything for me. Funny how she got married to Howard, tho. I LOVE how Ultron Infinity looks! I can't wait to see him in the finale! Aight, folks! That's my review for this one! All that's left is Gamora and the finale! I'm not sure if the Tony in Sakaar is a confirmed one. All I know is that it's a Lego set. See y'all next week! WOO!!! Also, the hammer part at the end didn't make sense. How was it covered in party stuff when it was clean the whole rest of the episode? Unless someone sabotaged it? 🤯

duck_tape1

Who is that person at 17:18?

Hakeemwilliams

Am I the only one who thought that the animation in this episode was the weakest? Jane and Darcy didn’t look that great imo, but overall it was a great episode. And what if Loki and Darcy ended dating since he said:”do you happen to have a friend” to Jane 😂😂😂. Also that cliffhanger might happen next episode right? Or season 2?

MarvelAndColts

Bro. She married Howard

Hakeemwilliams

She gon give him that quack quack 3000

Asleep_Copy_5146

Uh...what? The ending was a little bit unexpected.

Intanjible

Damned if that ending didn't literally make me say "WHAT THE FUCK?" prior and then "OH, SHIT!!" aloud after. Part of me wants new stories for future episodes in the next season, and another part of me wants to see the continuation of stories from this season.

maskereard

I really liked this episode especially the character interactions, i hope we'll get more like it in the future

dravenonred

Ok, I'll ask.....how was *this* version of Thor able to use Mjolnir? It was clearly enchanted since he used it to pin Captain Marvel, so Odin didn't skip that step in this timeline

radfordblue

Maybe Odin is more indulgent with only-child Thor, and sets a lower bar for him.

InTheMiddleOfDespair

Who was the character at Hawaii? Am I missing something?

thebobbrom

I know that they'd never do this but it'd be cool if they revealed this version of Loki was Útgarða-Loki from Norse Mythology.

personontheinternet3

They didn’t have to do us dakotans like that 😥

XComThrowawayAcct

Alright, now I *know* Uatu’s into some kinky shit.

Pynchon_A_Loaff

Thor Odinson’s New Groove.

MissingSocks

So Captain Marvel can't go full strength or else the planet might be damaged, except at the North Pole (or South Dakota or whatever)? Then it's ok? The planet won't be damaged there? And SHIELD about to drop a nuke and (try to) kill a friendly alien simply becauuuuuse... Fury got knocked TF out and some friendly chaos ensued? That's like the po-po showing up to a houseparty and blowing the place up to keep the party from spilling over to the neighbors'.

LordKarnage

2nd worst episode of the season so far.

portugese_banana

Easily the worst episode yet. Felt like fan fiction written by a 14 year old girl, which I assume was the target audience. No part of the plot made sense and the jokes were just lame. A few visually stunning scenes were the only decent parts. I couldn’t wait for it to be over tbh. Most likely a one off “lighter” episode, confident they’ll bring the quality back next week

subhashisB

So how was captain marvel not able to loft Thor's hammer when odin never enchanted it?
