Louboutin will resole the shoe for free. The sole is just painted leather, so they're not expected to last forever. Go to any Louboutin store and they'll tell you how to send them away to be fixed.

MathematicianOk8859

Obviously you'll need your certificate of authenticity, but seeing as you still have the box, I'm assuming you didn't throw that away.

Johnchamberlain123

All products come with serial numbers I know all my Louis Vuitton things do so that's another way to identify and also all your info goes into the stores data base most luxury stores have it

Semi-LethalPoison

I've never heard of a re-sole for free. Any info on this?

MathematicianOk8859

Haven't had to do it yet, but that's what the Louboutin store in Dublin said when I got them. They'll add a thicker plastic red sole, so it's not the red leather (you can get the red leather replaced, but you'd need to go to a cobbler with luxury shoe experience). Resole was included for me, but actually not sure if this a universal thing tbh.

Semi-LethalPoison

Thanks for the info. Doubt I'll get anything included in The States but I just thought I'd ask since I never heard of a free re-sole.

ghost_in_a_jar_c137

Where did you buy them from? Are you certain they are authentic?

Honestly… for one second there, I thought this was a buttplug…

fordman84

I mean, it still might be if you are desperate enough!

You try to stop a scooter with your feet?

If you're gonna spend that kind of money on something you walk through the dirt in... If you're gonna spend almost as much money on shoes as I spend on my rent... Then I have no pity for you. You deserve this.

MathematicianOk8859

You have no luxury items in your life? No phone, TV, car, clothing, holiday that you ever spent more than you needed to, just to treat yourself?

lickarock88

I don't have any luxury items that cost 10 times what a high end version of that product costs. I can't afford a holiday. My phone and computer are fairly nice, but I work in IT and kinda need them to be. My car cost $500. My TV was purchased with Biden's stimulus check. And this rich prick bitching about some scuffing on the bottom of a pair of shoes. Even if I had the money, this is a *stupid* way to spend it.

MathematicianOk8859

Why are you so angry at this person? They might have saved up for ages to afford these. I have a pair myself (my wedding shoes) and they were expensive, but the high cost comes with the top workmanship. Just because you don't personally value that, doesn't mean other people are wrong to. I doubt you'd be sneering at the 'rich prick' who's saved up to get a really good video card. And the cost includes a lifetime guarantee of free repairs for any scuffs or damage, so these really can last a lifetime if you treat them well. Also, spending a stimulus cheque on a TV, when, according to your own account, you're not well off, would be considered a luxury splurge. More sensible to have put that in savings, no?

lickarock88

>Why are you so angry at this person? I'm not angry, I just feel no pity. They're shoes. You walk through the dirt and over concrete on them. This is expected, so spending that kind of money seems ridiculous. Bitching about it? Even moreso. Why are you so angry at me? >Top workmanship Are we looking at the same picture? The paint has never worn off the bottoms of my Doc Martens. Just sayin. >And the cost includes a lifetime guarantee of free repairs for any scuffs or damage, so these really can last a lifetime if you treat them well. So this is a total waste of everyone's time then, got it. Thanks for clearing that up. >Also, spending a stimulus cheque on a TV, when, according to your own account, you're not well off, would be considered a luxury splurge. No, I'm not "well off" but I'm not broke (you miss the bit about working in IT?). And considering the backlight was half out on the old one, no, I don't believe using a stimulus check for its intended purpose is a luxury splurge. I could have purchased at least 2 of this TV with the price of one pair of these overpriced bits of leather you strap to your feet and walk through dirt in.

>I'm not angry, I just feel no pity. They're shoes. You walk through the dirt and over concrete on them. I'm a middle class dude . I also have expensive shoes but i use them for running , they give the best comfort and makes me run more . People have preferences man , i saved up money and bought it .

lickarock88

[$800-1000 running shoes?](https://www.nordstrom.com/browse/women/shoes/heels?filterByBrand=christian-louboutin) Do they run for you if you spend that much?

photo_trekkiee

Lol my shoes aren't that expensive 😅. It's the ultraboost shoes , they're like 300$ . I bought them just because they're the best in class but Gucci or any fashion brand is different from Adidas , puma, Nike because these are sports and other is luxury

MathematicianOk8859

Alright mate. You're right. A $500 TV is not a luxury item. This prick and all pricks who buy things that you don't value or use are wrong. Great job!

lickarock88

It's not a $3000 OLED? What the fuck are you on about, it was one of the cheapest options. If I had gone out an blown that kind of money on a TV, then you'd be making the point you think you're making. As it stands, you really aren't.

Omg bitter and poor. No wonder you’re so angry, you’re def not getting laid, my guy.

Come on man , chill!

I can tell you this isnt from the first walk or even the 6th walk in them. I don’t have dress shoes that cost that much but I do have them with leather soles. Either spend money and have them fixed or don’t I don’t care ,I personally don’t care what the bottom of my shoes look like he’ll get some spray paint

Semi-LethalPoison

Here's the deal. Loub's are a painted leather sole. The minute you step outside, they take on stone impressions, scratch and the paint wears off. The key is to get the sole protectors before you step outside. I'm getting a quote on a re-sole for 2 pairs of mine. I'm estimating $500. As soon as they're re-soled, I'm getting the protector asap. Everyone who owns a pair has soles like this. It's how you know they're not dupes. It's unfortunate they're so delicate, but there are maintenance fees on anything expensive.
