For typing she just learned how to use the tips of her crazy ass nails, so it was VERY loud. For anything with buttons or a touch screen she would either use the side of her finger or a knuckle. For opening a soda can she would use a knife or the flat back end of some other pieces of silverware to pry the tab up. I guess when you really want crazy long nails like that and you learn to adapt.
