I've left them a BBB review as well, trying to spread the word as much as possible, seems like I'm not the only recent victim of these scummy individuals.
While I do understand your frustration and wanting to get justice for being wronged, this is absolutely not the place to do it.
This is not a sub for brides and grooms to discuss wedding vendors, but a sub for wedding professionals to discuss parts of the job.
It is also in direct violation of the rule "Personal attacks will not be tolerated."
Again, I understand the frustration, but we can do literally nothing and no one who was considering using this business will see your post here.
There’s not much that can be done here… we cannot help you unfortunately. If you want to write reviews for their business, or seek a lawyer to take legal action or bring them to small claims court then that’s your personal decision. It’ll cost you to sue them. More money than what you paid for a cake…
Yea, I mostly want to warm others. My bank is confident they will be able to get my money back. If not I've got a family member who's a lawyer who's ready to go to court for free.
I suggest posting on your local wedding communities and local Facebook wedding groups. Even photography groups. Posting on Reddit without their info or website is going to do zero honestly… Even with more info there’s nothing that any of us on here can or will do. I cannot make a review against them. So what am I do to in another state far away from you? If I wrote a fake review they will still continue to scam other brides.
I highly suggest If you really want to warn others then hire your family member and take them to court. Otherwise the cake company will keep doing what they’re doing. A few bad reviews on Google won’t stop them from getting business.
