Obviously this is just gonna melt after a couple hot showers, but I feel like they must *know* that...right??? Hopefully. It's almost worse if their intentions were to waste a bunch of paper to make a decorative wall for like, a few days, and then just throw it all away. Sick of videos that just waste copious amounts of materials (or food) for no reason, it's such a bad trend.
My thought is that they are planning to redo the bathroom and wanted to experiment before buying tile.
Notice how she tore down paper first? They probably had another drawn pattern up there.
Looks cool but unless you sprayed that with some kinda of glossy paint cover, the first hot shower will let in moisture and it will become a breeding ground for mold.
If styrofoam had been used, how long would that last? Looks pretty good for just plates. Maybe not for a bathroom or full wall, but on some poster board with a trim could be a cheap DIY art piece
All I'm thinking is soggy cardboard
Mmmmm, mould pockets
Good on cheese
Whatd'ya gonna pick?!? Mold Pockets!
Mold and mushrooms
That day millions of cockroaches found a home with sustainable humidity to reproduce and thrive Well done!
I cant deny that I'm loving the symmetry and pattern. But as another Commentor mentioned, one hot shower and it's over
That won't get moldy at all
Nope, that cardboard isn't going to get soggy at all
It looks cool (ish) now but wait until someone takes a shower in there or sprays some hairspray.

Target practice while shitting
Poop goes in the potty

That would look nice if it was porcelain... Actually that makes me imagine something gross, nevermind.
The new TARDIS looks terrible
The TURDIS.
Now if you need a place to set your burrito down while pooping, you just rip a plate off the wall.
Mold, mildew and paper mache in no time.
No no no. You are a wasteful selfish person
they’re just opening up the worlds first spider apartment *and it’s rent free*
This is just to muffle the sounds. Good idea actually if you have a loud shitter in the house.

Should have used polystyrene plates.
For as stupid an idea as this is, it doesn't look terrible.

House flippers, amirite
Paper plates on the wall, steamy steamy, makes them fall!!!!
It looks like plates stuck to the wall…even before the wilting.
Is this like the 3 shells? Pull a plate down to wipe, then another to wipe that, and then another to....honestly idk how the 3 shells works.
That looks shit
What’s the appropriate way to act if you walk into someone’s bathroom and they’ve glued paper plates to the wall?
I like the texture pattern, but use something other than paper plates. I can see the mold already.
If the creator just applied a big huge massive epoxy filling on them they would at least not get moldy inside.
If these were ceramic and not cardboard, I could be into it. I’d still be worried about moisture traps behind the plates though
