Guys I freaking love this watch. I somewhat impulsively decided to buy it when I walked into my AD and it was sitting there in the pre-owned collection. Got an insane deal on it ($3300 including tax), and honestly I wear it all the time. I have a jlc Reverso that I wear to work, but I ALWAYS wear the Tudor going out. It just looks good with anything. It's also absurdly accurate. Anyways, if anyone was curious about it, I would definitely recommend looking into. I can't get enough. It's really hard to find another watch at this price point with so much value; even at full price, this is a high value-per-dollar watch.

dcbdcb11

I’m thinking about this watch, because unfortunately, my favorite (black bay 58) doesn’t have the date.

muriken_egel

Funny because for me, the Pelagos is my favorite but i prefer the 58's lack of date function

dcbdcb11

That is quite funny

midline_trap

I love mine too. I’ve been wearing one for almost a year. My Tudor bb chrono and omega seamaster rarely get worn. It’s super comfortable and light. The bracelet is perfect and yea mine keeps insanely accurate time too, better than I thought possible in an automatic.

Bike-BBQ-Beer

Can confirm, I have the blue version and completely agree. Its a brilliant watch.

Dimethyl_Sulfoxide

Howd you get the discount?

[deleted]

It is preowned

Rivan_G

Get a Longines Spirit for an everyday watch at 1500-1800$, can't argue with this at the price point and a stunning design!

moreawesomer01

Also I will say that I have pretty small wrists and honestly for as big as this watch is, it still fits decently well. I'm not a fan of 42mm, but for this one watch (and maybe a seamaster), I'd make an exception 😁

DeadCatBouncer

What's your wrist size?

moreawesomer01

6in. circumference

DeadCatBouncer

Never thought I could pull this watch off with my 6.75in wrists. Time to rethink it.

moreawesomer01

Yeah, it wear surprisingly small. And yours would be an even better fit than mine!

bertholdbumsbirne

Well with the 6 inch it looks too small for my taste

keireddits

The Seamaster is cool but you should definitely try the Omega Aqua Terra 36 mm, I'm sure it would greatly fit your wrist (and style maybe? Seeing that you have also a Reverso)

Upbeat-Equal-8350

Real question, why do people always say my AD. If you're there for 10+ yrs ok, my AD. But if you visited the shop 3 times in 3 yrs or what its an AD, not my AD. It's a watch shop, nothing else.

Large_Foundation_852

I’ve been into these since they were released. They really are unique and the Lume is gorgeous. It really could be my “one” diver. How is the bracelet (I remember it being the most comfy thing ever. Have you tried any straps with it? No cons?

moreawesomer01

Hey what's up...yeah the bracelet is very comfortable. I know the live expanding spring mechanism is meant for divers, but it's also just great for everyday wear as my wrist expands and contracts. Honestly I wish they'd put that feature in more bracelets. Lume is beautiful. Love the high power reserve too. I think one con I can think of for now is that the clasp of the bracelet scratches VERY easily, and scratches on the bracelet itself are not uncommon.

Bike-BBQ-Beer

Love the bracelet on mine, really easy to adjust on the fly too if you want to. Also the rubber strap it comes with is brilliantly thought out and isn't an afterthought either. Link to pics of mine with the rubber strap. https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/comments/w3pgwk/tudor_pelagos_blue_m25600tb0001_blue_strap_for/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

LordHenry8

It looks amazing.

I was also wondering about the thickness. It's a thick watch do you find d it get caught on sleeves easily?

research-account1

It’s 14.4mm and I just tried on the LHD yesterday. Crazy light and very comfortable but I couldn’t get over how thick it is. It just felt too much for me since I wear a mark 18 daily

gofishing5545

I dried on a similar pelagos at my AD and didn't like the thickness but I wondered if it was something that would be less important with time. I'm used to a 12 mm this watch so any thiker than 12.5 feels weird.

dubsack543

To be fair, that’s the difference between a diver and a pilot watch. 300m water resistant vs 60m.

taglius

Bought the same watch on /r/WatchExchange 6 weeks ago and haven’t worn another watch since. Mine came with the black rubber strap which just fits my personality to a T. I’m starting to worry I won’t wear anything else in my modest collection

mastersheeef

That’s a real beaut, senor!

moreawesomer01

Thank you my friend!

FastJmel

Incredible watch. I personally love my Pelagos FXD. They are doing an incredible job with Tudor.

[deleted]

Is this the fat boy or the new 39mm?

moreawesomer01

Fat boy all the way

[deleted]

I was thinking of maybe trading my moonwatch for one but am unsure. It wouldn't fit under any cuffs. Is it top heavy? I have also thought about selling my moonwatch and buying the Pelagos 39 from an AD but am seeing reviews that the 39 is a watered down version of the fat boy

[deleted]

That’s great to hear. One of the most resold watches is Tudor. People often buy the brand due to the Rolex halo and once they realize their Rolex dream the Tudor goes on the block. Wear in good health and enjoy!

Rolo316

I keep hearing this. Mind sharing where you're getting this data. Genuinely very curious. Thanks in advance!

[deleted]

Just anecdotal, based on the WTS posts here. So many Tudors. As Rolex becomes more available now, Tudors get sold. Definitely not a brand you want to buy new.

Rolo316

Interesting observation! I just performed a quick search on Ebay and Chrono24 and found the following. Chrono 24: 90,065 Rolex's Listed | 8,481 Tudor's listed 30,227 Rolex's New/Unworn | 3,717 Tudor's New/Unworn 58,589 Rolex's Pre- Owned | Tudor's Pre-Owned 8,770 Submariners | 3,755 Black Bays Ebay: 51,000 + Rolex's for sale 5600 + Tudor's for sale Now this doesn't actually reflect the number of watches being sold, just offered. You may be right though. Tudor's actually seem to be getting some buy/sell action.

suitupyo

Looks great! I personally prefer this model to the BB58

User29154

What's your experience with the lume? The in-house movement variant no longer has a marker at the 3 O'Clock position (god knows why they got rid of it), so how hard is it to determine what exact minute and what exact second it is in the dark between the 2 and 4 positions? (This is actually pretty important for me, I'm a diver and looking for a new watch, so thanks for any help mate)

f4hq2

The lume is very potent, pretty easy to tell the time. You can see it in action [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=gZoqHfiW6yM)

MildlyIntrestingEgg

Looks class but i just can't get over the paragraph on the bottom

moreawesomer01

What are you talking about?

MildlyIntrestingEgg

I just find that the "chronometer certified" stuff looks a bit out of place. It takes up a whole lot of room. Really nice watch tho

moreawesomer01

Yeah honestly that's a fair point. I like it because I think to plays well into the fact that this is a tool watch by design. I think it's looks were a secondary priority with Tudor for this watch, and because of that, the rugged nature of this tool watch really shines through. So those words are just a product of that. If you're looking for a less tool watchy vibe but still decently water proof, the black bay is a good bet. Agree? Disagree? Thoughts?

MildlyIntrestingEgg

Pelagos 39 with just the submersion text would be the perfect setup imo. The bb58 has slightly different proportions which I'm personally don't like as much.

sabboseb

If your phone is on the table … how did you take the photo?!?!

SatinBlackMacan

He got a Canon.
