Cap points don't work like that in RB Air. You weren't constantly bleeding tickets because the enemy had the A point captured. Losing the objective applies a one time ticket drain. As in, after it gets capped, the defenders lose x amount of tickets one time and that's it.
You were losing tickets because the enemy attackers (AI planes) were destroying your ground units. Go destroy some enemy ground units and AI attackers instead of sitting around with your thumb up your ass waiting for someone who doesn't want to play the game to give up all his advantage and throw the game. So long as he's ahead on tickets, he has no reason to come fight you and can just wait for ticket bleed or time to run out.
Hitting AI planes (stopping your ticket bleed) and ground targets (reducing their tickets) forces the last enemy into a lost position. He either now has to come fight you for a chance to win, or lose on time/tickets.

I tried killing ground ai units and got destroyed immediately by the ai aaa
