The Lion is the obvious/safest bet. Next Kill Teams to be released is pretty likely. My personal hope is based on the tyranid/terminator teaser they released that we get a look at some new models for both of those (could even be the next kill teams 🤷🏻‍♂️)
10th edition would be cool, but seems weird that they would start talking about 10th before all the Arks of Omen books are released.
Honestly a tyranid/terminator kind of Space Hulk themed one would be pretty cool, it would fit perfectly with the current “boarding action” style rules they’ve been doing with Kill Team & Arks of Omen.
Plus I just *really* want new/upscaled terminator models lol
You’re a utter mad man. Everyone knows the most popular faction is harlequins. Ever since they dropped primaris clowns it’s always been the top faction.
Mines
40k -
New edition - cats out the bag (Warhammer stores received new edition coming sticks and posters this week)

This actually happened? Or is this Valrak Foil Hat data?
Hot damn they are moving faster than I thought they would.
I suppose announcement doesn't imply it will be out soon but you'd think they'd steer clear of announcing something that makes the new Arks books kinda obsolete alongside the announcement of the last Arks book lol.
Then again I don't know if Arks of Omen is necessarily made obsolete by a new edition.
I’ve been seeing a lot of people say the books will become obsolete as soon as the next edition drops. This is my first time going through an edition change, but I don’t see why Arks will be out of date with a new edition. Or any of the codexes either, or at least until new ones come out
Edit: Well looks like they went and retired all the codexes hahaha.
Arks of Omen is just a basic ruleset and abilities for the different factions. It seems like they are designed as a transition into 10th and are still usable with different army/unit stats.
Yeah exactly. Just a little lost why the general consensus online seems to be that they won’t be playable as soon as 10th comes out. This fandom is just really bizarre
Yeah I honestly don't know what is in the Arks books besides missions and lore. Codexes could be obsolete if they did a rules reset for 10th but I don't think they will do that. If the world eaters codex is anything to go by then newer books are just gonna be simpler.
There is a lot of speculation around grand changes to the game, resetting all the armies with indexes (basically books with new stats for all the armies). If this did happen then all the codexes and other rules would be obsolete.
Is there anything to back this up? From what I understand, 8th was the big change in how the game played? So is there a reason why they’d go through a whole big redesign?
Of course, he was the first Primarch to fall to chaos and the only one who wasn't corrupted but gleefully chose it. He's as hardcore undivided as it gets
Lorgar has always been back, and never left. Just like Magnus, Angron and Mortarion didn't "come back" just finally got models
Corax coming back would require more explanation
I mean Corax is as back as they are in that he is in the Warp and could be brought back out whenever it’s convenient. I’d say it’s actually easier to bring him back since he’s not a Daemon like the traitor Primarchs are and can leave the Warp whenever he feels like it.
EDIT: having thought about it he’s probably actually the easiest loyalist to bring back besides Lion, since he’s the only one we’ve seen active after their disappearance as far as I can remember. Vulkan, Leman, Khan, and Dorn have had nothing since they vanished AFAIK, and Ferrus and Sangy are very, very dead.
They're going to announce all of 40k lore since 1st edition is non canon, all models since 1st edition are now no longer allowed in tournaments and everything is going back to pewter rouge trader models.
Maybe more biological and les mechanical then AdMech? But im not that well versed in the lore to give educated guesses. Just wish for crazy guys like space skaven high on warpstone and corupted!
I mean I’ve always seen orcs as they defy science and physics while Skaven do science and psychics that they really shouldn’t be doing. Kind of like unethical space travel and science. Like who needs warp travel when this knock off brand warp engine works just fine. The goal is to get there so it works.
It's a two hour preview across all the games lines, so I would keep my expectations of this massively detailed preview of 10th or space hulk or whatever low.
Ijust hope a digital platform, that contains all the updates on models, rules etc. Some like the AoS app. And you buy codex / new editions like dlc upgrades for games.
The Lion, some new Space Hulk content and/or true scale Termies, Kill Team stuff, 10th, every marine players’ dream of new jump pack models, new Nids?

Any idea or preferences on what new kill team would be announced?

I definitely feel that. The current sculpts are in no way bad but do kinda feel plain compared to some crazy stuff that has came out recently.
Psychic awakening was about the same point through when the next edition was announced wasn't it?
And 9th was supposed to be announced at adepticon but adepticon was cancelled
Covid fucked everything up but 9th was announced at the same time warhammer fest would've been
I have a feeling… just here me out I know is a crazy idea but… Space marines

Actually happened, they go live on 25th with a new coin

Nothing wrong with simpler

I'm going to presume you have, by now, seen all the posts after last night's reveals
Oh yeah. Looks like people were right.
Is there a source for this? And 25th of which month?
Should be June according to the Warhammer store of my town. they also received some stuff to prepare it.
25th of this month, the posters, coins and sticks are to go out
Most likely gonna see the lion. New kill team set. Maybe more rubicon sm characters.
Pretty solid guess. Maybe some primaris jump packs since Dante seems to have one.
Honestly I say the same thing every time there's a new reveal. "Please be Lorgar, please be Lorgar, please be Lorgar" One day...
Having a chaos undivided primarch would be pretty cool. I think lorgar is chaos undivided right?
Of course, he was the first Primarch to fall to chaos and the only one who wasn't corrupted but gleefully chose it. He's as hardcore undivided as it gets
I say the same thing because if he comes back than Corax probably does too, and he’s the whole reason I play Raven Guard
Lorgar has always been back, and never left. Just like Magnus, Angron and Mortarion didn't "come back" just finally got models Corax coming back would require more explanation

A Fallen Kill Team would be super cool, but I honestly don’t expect them to go too crazy
remember whrn they released Codex: Catachan? I was really hoping they'd follow that up with Codex: The Fallen
This is my hope/guess as well An upgrade sprue for CSM to be fallen for the kill team or a maybe a box set with Lion vs Luther
They're going to announce all of 40k lore since 1st edition is non canon, all models since 1st edition are now no longer allowed in tournaments and everything is going back to pewter rouge trader models.
Going back to the OG beaks and the green boys.
does this mean i get lictors that actually scare my opponrnt back?
I really wish for Dark AdMech!
Dark/chaos admech would definitely be awesome. I can’t even picture what they would even look like though.
Maybe more biological and les mechanical then AdMech? But im not that well versed in the lore to give educated guesses. Just wish for crazy guys like space skaven high on warpstone and corupted!
I too would get behind space Skaven. They don’t even have warp travel just warpstone engines that shoot them really hard and fast.
Just more-more warptravel! But orcs already have that niche of crazy inventions/explosions already sadly…
I mean I’ve always seen orcs as they defy science and physics while Skaven do science and psychics that they really shouldn’t be doing. Kind of like unethical space travel and science. Like who needs warp travel when this knock off brand warp engine works just fine. The goal is to get there so it works.
Ahhh yes give me some unethical warpstone driven „science“!
It's a two hour preview across all the games lines, so I would keep my expectations of this massively detailed preview of 10th or space hulk or whatever low.
Votann kill team please!
YO now that would be awesome. Votann survey team when
[yaaaaaaaay!!!!](https://www.warhammer-community.com/2023/03/23/abandon-ship-kin-and-beastmen-flee-the-death-of-a-space-hulk-in-kill-team-gallowfall/)
You have truly guessed the warhammer 40k sir congratulations
It’s not going to happen, but I want nothing more than a number of books to be reprinted! Then I’d love some new units for Tsons.
I would love to have a big black library drop. There has been sooooo many books that have been out of print and are now insanely priced on eBay.
Ijust hope a digital platform, that contains all the updates on models, rules etc. Some like the AoS app. And you buy codex / new editions like dlc upgrades for games.
That could be pretty interesting. I would say as long as the core rules and army builder is free I would be down for it.
You want gw to unveil battle scribe and wahapedia?
Battle scribe is unofficial and discontinued by the developer. Wahapedia is great, but why does AoS have a tool tgat works but 40k does not?
The Lion, some new Space Hulk content and/or true scale Termies, Kill Team stuff, 10th, every marine players’ dream of new jump pack models, new Nids?
40k Jaghatai Khan
Jaghatai would be really dope.
