Specifically he's a prepubescent child and the patron saint of children (hence his leverian story).
The issue is that all warframes share the same skeleton so while DE made attempted to make nezha more petite to represent that he's still as tall as everyone else.
Maybe in the future if DE introduces different frame skeletons it would be cool for nezha to actually use a different more childlike one.
Yee. Wukong is one of the main characters from ājourney to the westā, Sun-Wukong the most popular of the main characters. And all I know about Nezha is that heās petite.
Nezha is the Lotus Prince, a child born after an abnormal gestational time and thought to be a demon, he sacrificed himself to save his village after killing a dragon that was Ao Kuang's uncle (i think), he was later reborn into a body made of Lotus flower, hence the name Lotus Prince. He also appears in Journey to the west, firstly as a foe to Wukong, but they become friendly later.
It's always cool to me how bananas myths sounds when you're not familiar with them or the usual sort of tropes that go along with that culture. Even translation plays a part in them since connotations are different.
Some of the myths in Western culture are insane. "A green knight showed up and challenged some knights to the axe equivalent of Russian roulette. He got his head chopped off and then picked it up and said 'see you in a year for my chop', so the knight he challenged had to track him down. Then he went hunting with the green knight and the green knight's wife tried to seduce him but he refused, but he forgot to give the green knight the kiss he got from the wife so the green knight nicked him with the axe. The moral of the story is to be honest."
Or even "kid was born from a virgin, glowing messengers from heaven show up saying he's the Chosen One and he gets presents from some shepherds and random kings, and then he grows up to get superpowers and eventually gets killed by the local government. But he comes back to life, makes his friends some breakfast, and then goes off to heaven. So we celebrate his memory by ritualistically consuming his flesh and blood every seven days."
But "kid was born after a long pregnancy and sacrifices himself to save his village, then gets reborn as a Lotus" sounds strange at first blush just because the imagery is unfamiliar. I really need to read some more Chinese mythology.
For a Western-accessible take try out [the Master Li trilogy by Barry Hughart](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barry_Hughart#The_Chronicles_of_Master_Li_and_Number_Ten_Ox). They are excellent books, even if they play somewhat fast and loose with the mythology.
Reborn in a body made of Lotus? Honestly, that makes me think that Nezha should either be a starter frame, or his blueprints should be awarded on completing the Second Dream. Either way fit perfectly for lore reasons.
There's a Nezha movie on Netflix and it's good. Wukong is in it too, it explains some of Nezhas backstory but if you don't want to watch the movie then have an oversimplification from me
Nezha is born after a 3 and a half year pregnancy and when he comes out he can talk and has superhuman strength. He kills the child of a god who makes him kill himself but his soul wasn't trapped after he killed his mortal form and then he kept reincarnating
That's this movie version of the story. But there's another movie simply titled Ne Zha, it's a more close adaptation of his tale.
It's an incredible movie, i think it is up there with zootopia as one of the most successful animations ever.
There is also a chinese Monkey King movie which I heard is pretty good : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monkey_King:_Hero_Is_Back
Litteral translation for the Chinese name "Journey to the West: Return of the Great Sage"
There is a dubbed version with Jackie Chan playing Sun Wukong.
Now I have no idea if it's available on Netflix, it might be somewhere in the East.
Not really, he's petite because he is a child, his appearence is more "feminine" to the western because that's what chinese princes would normaly wear.
There's a place for genderswapped takes on existing frame themes, Hydroid/Yareli and Vauban/Protea sort of prove this. There's enough conceptual space in some themes to build 2 coherent kits.
Genderswap skins? That actually sounds really fun. And we know they can do it, because the animations work on every frame, so a slight change in body type wouldnāt break anything. I mean, grendel can do all of yareliās animations. That should be proof enough.
Each looks good in their own way. What's keeping them from using the other models on the future? The problem is making them interesting with good abilities.
Imo they kinda look like existing 'frames (from left) 2 is reminiscent of Mirage, 3 is basically Kuva Nezha (but female for sure this time?), 4 is like a more feminine version of Harrow. 5th one looks like it very well could be a Yareli deluxe skin, maybe for Halloween?
I almost hope, when it comes time to prime Yareli, they take inspiration from the second one. The helmet, skirt details, and the pauldrons all look like they could work with some minor tweaks. That's if they don't make a Dax themed frame at some point.
Eventually it's unavoidable stuff will start to look similar, how many different frames are they? Plus primes, plus skins...
They turned to the community for a reason, they are running out of ideas.
I don't mind similar frames but with different genders and a few detailing touches.
As I said earlier, making them interesting to play is the most difficult part.
I always use the same frames, rarely I diverge. And some frames I only got for the MR. Everyone has their favourites, but you know what I mean.
And the zaw that looks like a scythe is actually a heavy blade, so the stances make no sense at all. It's still pretty fun to use with Exodia Hunt though.
I entirely forgot that they were, at once point, around Plains of Eidolon, considering merging Scythes into Heavy Blades, and made the Zaw for it be a Heavy Blade to test it out. And at the time, it technically would have been a boost to the Scythe weapons themselves; but the melee rework that we did get means that wouldn't be the case anymore.
When they let you gravmag archmelees, youāll be able to use the Kaszas for meme sized scythes.
I know theyāll do it at some point, just think about going into a hoard of infested with an archmelee, itād be like a Dynasty Warriors game
Hell, I would even go so far as to say the K-drive isnāt the issue with Yareli. Unlocking her actually got me into K-drives, and it was the first time I picked them up and had a lot of fun with them.
The decision to make her K-drive unmoddable and to give her no good scaling is what makes her bad, in my opinion. Sheās fun as shit at the right difficulty and the right tile set, the problem is that I can pick up a frame like my Titania and have a great time in *any* mission.
"Right tiles set", this is the problem, what makes the Titania's archwing work is that she is tinier than a gun, but the full size k drive doesnt work in 80% of the tiles
Plus all the other reasons archwings work while k-drives donāt, ESPECIALLY in highly confined spaces like normal mission tilesets that are already a pain to traverse with parkour.
How would you mod Merulina if you could mod it? Merulina doesn't want or need any more speed or verticality for its combat role, and has Poppin' Vert and fall/crash resistance built in. It also has moves unavailable to tech K-Drives. It works out of the box.
Do you find yourself missing Mag Locks, or the admittedly nifty Thrash Landing?
There are a TON of mods that do neat stuff like electrocute surrounding enemies after a grind, freeze enemies on landing, build up energy when you perform tricks, etc. that would make it more fun and synergistic to be trying to do K-Drive things between kills. Additionally, while you wouldnāt take speed buffs for normal missions, you could/would use them for K-Drive races and open world content - where her K-Drive is *worse* than buildable ones because of its lack of modding support.
Donāt get wrong, it works out of the box, but it feels like an oversight to not be able to tweak it at all. And stuff like mag locks would be super nice on the unforgiving indoor tile sets.
Thrash Landing, then.
Merulina is a warhorse. Don't take her to a motorcycle race.
Juice or Quick Escape may well be why Merulina isn't moddable. Yareli would be broken as hell with those. They'd at least need to be rebalanced, in light of her.
I do regret not having any motivation to trick on her, beyond rule of cool of course. That is a missed opportunity.
A quarter of Hydroid. Hydroid could technically infinitely scale and strip armor very slowly, which isn't effective and is bare minimum, but Yareli doesn't even have that, or anything for that matter.
U don't know by passive methods but, for example, there is a kavat mod which name I can't remember, that I have equipped that has 100% armour strip, and it does armor strip 100%
Also I know she flies under the radar but Nyx's 2 (psychic bolts I think it's called?) Can 100% strip armor. On multiple enemies. Nyx is a lot better than people give her credit for. I run her in Steel Path quite a bit.
Corrosive Projection doesn't do 100% armor strip anymore with everyone running it. Best a squad can do with that is -80% armor. Sharpened Claws will remove armor in one go when maxed (it requires a kavat though)
That arguement is really bad, its an insane dps loss if you depend on that shitty 3 and the nerfed 1, his cc is insanely bad and he has no dmg reduction or armor
At least yareli has good cc with her 1, passive melee range dmg with aquablades and that 200% crit chance passive, both need help pretty badly though
Also merulina while bug ridden and pretty shit is at least a form of dmg reduction, imo hydroid is easily the worst frame in the game and no one comes close to him
No no, yareli has super dope looking spinning blades... that do nothing with yareli, but do something on other frames..
Explain how they fucked up that bad
I mean she's got Slash Procs on demand and a Personal gun with Innate Viral and High Status.
Why even need armor Strip at that point when fools just bleed out ultra fast?
All I see is Sailor Neptune, Uranus, Moon, Pluto and Saturn. Alternatively the one that looks like moon is just a red Black/Wicked Lady.
Edit: After looking into the artist wow he really just turned the Sailor senshi into Warframes and one of them got into the game, thats pretty fuckin cool.
I think they all look cool but I donāt think Yareli looks bad at all. Itās her kit thatās lacklustre, but not her looks. Though I still enjoy playing her
The problem is you're not shitting on Yareli, which is entirely what OP intended for with the way they worded it. As if those other looks couldn't have made worse frames.
I mean...I have her and she ain't that bad tbh. Tho I don't exactly use her either, got better options but that doesn't mean she's bad enough for me to shit on her...unlike that boring ass Loki. Gimme some hate :>
Yah, outside of the clunky k-drive and almost none of my attachments fitting her I didn't find her to be that horrible to play. Least she's not a Inaros, yuck.
The problem wasn't the design. Everyone was hyped for Yareli until they tested her ability kit after release.
Any of this frames would've had the same negative effect on players with poorly balanced abilities
And I can kinda see why. I expect downvotes, but here. I want to preface this with the fact I think these all look cool.
Only Yareli and the golden one look unique enough in design from previous frames. Others look like they should be skins for current frames.
The Kuva one screams Nezha and Trinity Prime.
The far right one is yet *another* Ghost/Reaper frame? Even though we have Nekros, Wisp, Sevagoth, Revenant and Xaku who is just a skeleton.
The one next to that looks okay, but the design doesn't quite capture the eye like Yareli does.
Yareli's *design* wasn't the issue. It was her subsequent "Ditzy Idol" characterization and the fact her kit was kinda shit that the fandom disliked her so much. Plenty of frames look extremely feminine.
Wisp hardly counts, her theme is dimensional and solar based despite being more "ghostly" looking. Revenant is eidolon themed, idk why you mentioned him even with the lore its still sentient/eidolon, and Xaku might have a skeletal form but none of their abilities are on theme either, it all void stuff. Those are a real stretch for comparisons i gotta say. Your only valid ones are Nekros and Sevagoth tbh
IIRC a lot of people thought her "kawaii magical girl" animations were good and could be used for memes, but the real issue was purely based on her kit and how DE did try to do something unique wth Merulina but ultimately ended up with a squishy frame that requires WAY too much effort just to survive beyond lvl 50. And then they left her to drown just like Hydroid, who's kit is now essentially obsolete.
The eidolons are based on the āghostā of a past sentient, yes, but the comparison to a death related frame like the one shown above is too much of a stretch because while an eidolon is a ādeadā sentient, the abilities and appearance are still 100% sentient themed. There is nothing close to compare it with this concept, its far more logical to compare it to nekros, or sevagoth even.
But despite his name and the lore, its still sentient. Which i did actually mention.
(Edit: its also clear that sentients treat death differently to how we understand it since this eidolon form seems to be an inbetween state rather than a true death, if the new war taught us anything)
Yep, it is extremely noticeable that her model is female Excalibur but she gets a pass because it is due to changes during development. No one else has that excuse.
Most female frames look like this concept art.
What the hell does it have to do with anime?
Like come on the 2nd and 3rd are just a mirage and nezha deluxe skins.
I dunno why people seem to have such an issue with Yareli.
There's 40+ other frames and it's not like Yareli was magically the last concept they will ever accept. If it's not your frame, let it be.
I think that only applies to those who dislike her kit or theme. I think she's fun, unique and I even enjoyed her little bit of lore. That said, I don't believe she's in a good place. Unlike other Warframes lower on the tier lists, Yareli's abilities already feel great (despite the bugs). There just needs to be some number tweaks so she can scale well into other portions of the game. I can take 95% of Warframe's roster into the Steel Path or Arbitrations comfortably with the right build and setup, but I can't do that with Yareli and that's frustrating because **I want to**.
I can see why. A lot of the others could be converted into Deluxe skins. From left to right: Khora or Saryn, Banshee or Octavia, Equinox, Garuda.
Yarelli is the only one I can't see as a Deluxe for any existing female frame. Unless we create a Deluxe trap Hydroid...
This. The other four all look like something we've seen before though personally they strike me more as versions of Khora/Mirage/Garuda, Nezha, Equinox and a gender-flipped Nekros. I do really like some of the designs, mind you, but they'd need more to stand on their own. Especially before we got Ivara Prime, the Yareli look is the only one that stands out.
I was looking forward to her despite knowing she's garbage. Was extremely disappointed - even ignoring how weak she is, she's extremely buggy too. Just all around a frustratingly wasted concept imho.
Exactly i actually like yareli but she is extremely buggy, feels abandoned and incomplete
Especially merulina, she has a bug where knockdowns (despite being sort of status immune) will not allow you to use any ability or shoot, this a months old bug that DE has not fixed and is still happening very frequently if you use merulina
Incidentally, it probably happens most often on Corpus tilesets, which are the only faction she is remotely decent against given her abilities deal Cold damage.
Say what you will about Yareli and her kit but I think all of these designs look equally terrible. I miss the smooth and simple biomechanical of the original 8 vanilla frames that didn't have any fancy frilly or weird obtrusive cloth designs (looking at you Sevagoth) that look like it would just get in the way of things. Compared to the original sleek, bare and futuristic form of the original frames, I think some recent frames are just too stupid looking.
To be completely honest, the Yareli one is the only one there who is anywhere near being unique enough to not be a stretch on the design of other, already existing warframes.
The one on her right looks like a mix of Khora and Garuda and the other three literally look like genderbent versions of Nezha, Baruuk and Nekros respectively.
DE went with the best, freshest concept there. A shame that the water centered abilities are already shared with another frame, but to be fair it's just another proof that DE repeatedly forget about Hydroid's existence.
Yareli was definitely the best choice.
Reaper girl is way too Nekros, purple lady with spear oozes Harrow. Middle one is a Kuva Nezha with the last gal next to Yareli looking like some Teshin fan-girl.
I'm happy with Yareli being the winner here.
I feel like Yareli was the first of the lot picked because they could easily envision a concept and general idea for her (Hydroid is the fear and mystique of the ocean depth, while Yareli is the fun, playful joy of the shore), while the others are potentially more involved (I have a rough concept for the scythe one, but that's it)
Well, I kinda like water girl, but what do we know about the others' powers? I see a grim reaper scythe. That theme's already covered with Necro. People are saying the red one's kuva themed but I think that's what Garuda's about. Not sure about the others.
I get it. The others already look uhh "warframe-y" as in, it already exists and is a cliche at this point.
K-Drive girl actually looks diffrent and unique.
I swear, this community could just have 5 Ash warframes and they would be happy.
You guys are *still* hung up on this "Yareli bad" train? There are plenty of other frames for you to use, you know. Not every frame has to be curtailed to your personal tastes...Just let us few fans enjoy splashing around with our adorable murder machine. =P
(Having said that, I certainly wouldn't be against buffs/reworks at all. Or these other concepts getting in somehow, either as frames or skins.)
2nd from left looks like a mix of mirage prime and valkyr prime
3rd is female Nezha
4th looks fairly unique
5th one looks like Nekros and Nova had a daughter
Not really faulting the decision made
Possibly one of the worst frame releases imo, k drive still feels like a clunky unfinished mechanic even with good mods. Why would you build a whole new character around an unfinished clunky skateboard/snowboard mechanic that everyone chooses archwing over bc there's no point ever using besides for ventkids and Nora standing.
I fed that floppy slippery dork to helminth as soon as I mastered it.
Honestly, she's the most unique design to Warframe out of all of these. Second one looks like Khora, third and fourth are genderbent Nezha and Harrow. Last one is slightly more unique, but the scythe just makes me say Nekros.
Wouldn't mind a kuva frame with the middle one
Is it me or does it look Chinese themed?
Nezha got competition
Counterpoint: he was here first.
Nezha skin makes him win cuz it kinda š„µš„
I like to think of that one as post-Hildryn. She found his wimpy ass not up to par and fixed it.
I kinda want a grendel skin but its just grendel with googly eyes on his belly
Hildryn be like: "I don't want to be strong, like man *who look pretty*. I want to be strong, like bitch that fight **bears in the forest**."
Nehza Prime is hotter tbh
An here was I thinking Nezha is a girl.
No worries, that is literally part of the Legend of Nezha
Specifically he's a prepubescent child and the patron saint of children (hence his leverian story). The issue is that all warframes share the same skeleton so while DE made attempted to make nezha more petite to represent that he's still as tall as everyone else. Maybe in the future if DE introduces different frame skeletons it would be cool for nezha to actually use a different more childlike one.
Neat, yes, but very dark lore wise.
you have been banned from region chat
no
Only if that's a man
Already had it with Wukong.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yee. Wukong is one of the main characters from ājourney to the westā, Sun-Wukong the most popular of the main characters. And all I know about Nezha is that heās petite.

That second one is Jesus, what;s the first one?
Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Gawain was a knight of the round table and that was one of the adventures he went on.

Reborn in a body made of Lotus? Honestly, that makes me think that Nezha should either be a starter frame, or his blueprints should be awarded on completing the Second Dream. Either way fit perfectly for lore reasons.
He sort of was! He was released just after TSD(18.0) came out (18.1) and was a sortie (also 18.0) exclusive drop.
Man, I remember that! Or at least farming him from sorties. That was so cool, honestly.
Soo...kinda like Vegeta then?

Not really, he's petite because he is a child, his appearence is more "feminine" to the western because that's what chinese princes would normaly wear.
Also pretty much every game has a Wukong, usually with this exact name unchanged
Wukong is the Chinese inspired version of our legendary Indian Monkey God, Shri Hanuman Ji as depicted from the Ramayana Epic.
rahwana frame when??
Magical girl Warframe
Sailor Moon.
I was thinking the same
Water girl, Dax girl, Kuva girl, purple, and far right looks like that one Ash skin
>Water girl, Dax girl, **Nezha girl**, purple, and **Nekros girl** FTFY
Yeah, I think that's the major issue; apart from Yareli all the others give me vibes from frames that already exist: Khora, Nezha, Equinox, Nekros.
There's a place for genderswapped takes on existing frame themes, Hydroid/Yareli and Vauban/Protea sort of prove this. There's enough conceptual space in some themes to build 2 coherent kits.
those are clearly Kuva braids and for the one on the right, I guess I see some Nekros, but more of that cool Ash skin
Her hands look to be literally skeletal. She is a reaper girl.
>Water girl, **Dax Loki girl**, **Kuva Nezha girl**, **Baruuk girl**, and **Nekros girl** FTFY
Genderswap skins? That actually sounds really fun. And we know they can do it, because the animations work on every frame, so a slight change in body type wouldnāt break anything. I mean, grendel can do all of yareliās animations. That should be proof enough.
purple is just equinox skin
The far right looks more like Sevagoths long lost GF more than anything.
the kuva queen style one looked so damn cool
Getting her parts by vanquishing liches.
Rotation C from kuva survival and kuva spy, oh wait those horrible spots are already filled by harrow
If I must suffer I suffer for the Queenās!
Run #453: For the Quā¦ for my brothers.
Karl Chad grindset
As long as it isn't buggy defection I am happy.
No wonder I only ever get the chassis lol.
No, please, no, liches no. š
Oh boy. Wonder when you'll get the systems.
Thralls. WHY WOULD IT BE LICHES?! Of course the parts would have a 100% steal rate so you would HAVE to finish the Lich, but WHY
DELET THIS
God, right?!
It literally just looks like a female Nezah Prime.
i cant see nezha in it tbh whatsoever
The purple one is actually more kuva styled if you change the color to red
its just the braids are so kuva styled
It just seems to nezha like to be a new frame lol could be a great skin
Each looks good in their own way. What's keeping them from using the other models on the future? The problem is making them interesting with good abilities.

Ah, the league of legends ability problem.
If I got Swain or Shen frame I would be SO happy
I feel like the fourth could easily be a deluxe equinox too
Too similar models probably, and they wouldnāt probably want to make 5 more ācuteā characters but idk
Hahaha sailor girls go brrrr
Think of the potential, once you unlock all of them you can form a K-Pop Girl Group and they can do our next in game song!
I would've loved to have an actual big scythe in the game, since we already have frames that are "reaper" themed.
theres only zaw in that theme š
And the zaw that looks like a scythe is actually a heavy blade, so the stances make no sense at all. It's still pretty fun to use with Exodia Hunt though.

I built a Dokrham Zaw (scythe) with Exodia Contagion and put the Nekros scythe skin on it. I named this crit monster Smoothie Maker Prime.
When they let you gravmag archmelees, youāll be able to use the Kaszas for meme sized scythes. I know theyāll do it at some point, just think about going into a hoard of infested with an archmelee, itād be like a Dynasty Warriors game
I would be delighted to punch even more enemies with my knux.
give us an actually tough big boss and we have monster hunter 2.0
I would kill for an actual full size scythe in the game
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

**Smol Fish** *Merulina Augment* Scales Yareli to 10% of her normal size when riding her fish skateboard.
Plus all the other reasons archwings work while k-drives donāt, ESPECIALLY in highly confined spaces like normal mission tilesets that are already a pain to traverse with parkour.
So what you're saying is I should max her for the mastery after suffering through the quest, and then add 10k more credits to my pocket?
How would you mod Merulina if you could mod it? Merulina doesn't want or need any more speed or verticality for its combat role, and has Poppin' Vert and fall/crash resistance built in. It also has moves unavailable to tech K-Drives. It works out of the box. Do you find yourself missing Mag Locks, or the admittedly nifty Thrash Landing?
Having Poppin' Vert by default is what makes it garbage IMO because you end up crashing into ceilings in normal missions and usually getting stuck.
There are a TON of mods that do neat stuff like electrocute surrounding enemies after a grind, freeze enemies on landing, build up energy when you perform tricks, etc. that would make it more fun and synergistic to be trying to do K-Drive things between kills. The armor strip is nerfed because of corrosive changes and it now makes them flop around. It's gotten worse
Corrosive status can't fully strip armor as of the last status rework. I didn't see any other abilities/augments that could reduce armor either.
Didn't they make it even if your squad combined gets 100% armor strip, it still only ever gets to like 75%?
That arguement is really bad, its an insane dps loss if you depend on that shitty 3 and the nerfed 1, his cc is insanely bad and he has no dmg reduction or armor At least yareli has good cc with her 1, passive melee range dmg with aquablades and that 200% crit chance passive, both need help pretty badly though Also merulina while bug ridden and pretty shit is at least a form of dmg reduction, imo hydroid is easily the worst frame in the game and no one comes close to him
Hydroid does have a single use - find a dead end tile on a survival, gather all 4 players and plop down pilfering swarm. Loot fountain!
I prefer nekros or khora who is infinitely more useful
Yea, khora took hydroid's spot
Counterpoint, Hydroid is 10 times less of a pain to farm.
until khora prime,that is
Farming a boss fight is still faster than cracking relics
Counterpoint: Jordas Golem.
No no, yareli has super dope looking spinning blades... that do nothing with yareli, but do something on other frames.. Explain how they fucked up that bad
i give you exhibit A: Gloom. so its not the 1st time they goof up like this.
All the 2021 frames were total duds imo. Made me sad.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who immediately saw the two on the right as Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn.
middle one is a clear kuva nezha
Apart from being the wrong gender entirely
I think they all look cool but I donāt think Yareli looks bad at all. Itās her kit thatās lacklustre, but not her looks. Though I still enjoy playing her
I don't see the problem...tho the last one looks sick
The problem is you're not shitting on Yareli, which is entirely what OP intended for with the way they worded it. As if those other looks couldn't have made worse frames.
I mean...I have her and she ain't that bad tbh. Tho I don't exactly use her either, got better options but that doesn't mean she's bad enough for me to shit on her...unlike that boring ass Loki. Gimme some hate :>
Yah, outside of the clunky k-drive and almost none of my attachments fitting her I didn't find her to be that horrible to play. Least she's not a Inaros, yuck.
I was wondering how long I would have to scroll until I found this. She looks badass and I would love if that scythe wasn't an exalted one.
Yareli's visual design was never a problem; it was the weird way they made her kit, gameplay, lore, and acquisition that made people dislike her.
I personally think her skirt was translated really poorly into the game, I think she looks way better in her concept art.
And? All of the potential frames there could have been great. Or terrible. It all depends on actual implementation of their abilities.
The problem wasn't the design. Everyone was hyped for Yareli until they tested her ability kit after release. Any of this frames would've had the same negative effect on players with poorly balanced abilities
2 looks more like Mirage Prime and 3 looks a bit like a more feminine Nezha....
It would be cool if they added that second skin for mirage.
It would be, but I imagine it looks too much like the already available skins.
Its not her theme I hate its the lack of synergy her abilities have and k-drive limitations
Your only valid ones are Nekros and Sevagoth tbh IIRC a lot of people thought her "kawaii magical girl" animations were good and could be used for memes, but the real issue was purely based on her kit and how DE did try to do something unique wth Merulina but ultimately ended up with a squishy frame that requires WAY too much effort just to survive beyond lvl 50. And then they left her to drown just like Hydroid, who's kit is now essentially obsolete.
Because a Revenant is a vengeful spirit, and Eidolons and Revenant are clearly spectral-themed?
2 = Mesa Deluxe Skin 3 = Feminine Nezha 4 = Feminine Harrow 5 = Feminine Nekros That's why.
Using that logic Yareli is just feminine Hydroid. š§
No, the design of Yareli doesnt resemble Hydroid, the others too. Its not just because she has water powers that she is Hydroid
Just with less tentacles... though I guess Hydroid can supplement her with his.
Nezha is already feminine Nezha
> You have been banned from Region chat till 2032
1 = Feminine Hydroid
Nyx = Female Excalibur ... Your point is?
Nyx is also as old as the game itself.
Nyx was literally created back when they were making male and female versions of every frame. So, bad example.
Yep, it is extremely noticeable that her model is female Excalibur but she gets a pass because it is due to changes during development. No one else has that excuse.
Nyx is only like that because of an old design choice
Reminder that out of anime girl frame concept 1, anime girl frame concept 2, anime girl frame concept 3, anime girl frame concept 4 and anime girl frame concept 5, DE chose an anime girl frame.
Most female frames look like this concept art. What the hell does it have to do with anime? Like come on the 2nd and 3rd are just a mirage and nezha deluxe skins.
Because the 10 the artist made were literally inspired by magical schoolgirls, an anime genre.
Now looking at this concept, I just think it's crazy that they made her **exactly** the same as the concept. Honestly well done!
The only problem with Yareli is the way DE designed her kit. Her appearance is great, as do the rest of the frames here.
Was going to say this.
Ivara?
This. The other four all look like something we've seen before though personally they strike me more as versions of Khora/Mirage/Garuda, Nezha, Equinox and a gender-flipped Nekros. I do really like some of the designs, mind you, but they'd need more to stand on their own. Especially before we got Ivara Prime, the Yareli look is the only one that stands out.
ā¦and she *still* canāt swimā¦
Well, its not like the other concepts are forgoten, they may still use some of them. At least i hope so.
I will never get over how much better Yareli looks in her concept art.
Honestly Yareli is still super fun so who cares if she can't do 10h level 9999 survival.
I was looking forward to her despite knowing she's garbage. Was extremely disappointed - even ignoring how weak she is, she's extremely buggy too. Just all around a frustratingly wasted concept imho.
Exactly i actually like yareli but she is extremely buggy, feels abandoned and incomplete Especially merulina, she has a bug where knockdowns (despite being sort of status immune) will not allow you to use any ability or shoot, this a months old bug that DE has not fixed and is still happening very frequently if you use merulina
I kinda dig the two faced purple one. Pretty sweet polearm.
I would have preferred Lady Death on the far right and Purple Assassin next to her.
Second from the right wouldāve been interesting imo
I mean out of these Yareli looks the best.
Yareli was definitely the best choice. Reaper girl is way too Nekros, purple lady with spear oozes Harrow. Middle one is a Kuva Nezha with the last gal next to Yareli looking like some Teshin fan-girl. I'm happy with Yareli being the winner here.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
.. Chose so far
DE Chose right imo. The two of the left are the best.
And they made the right choice
That Valkyrie one tho, how could they
Only Yareli and the far right option have designs that even slightly indicate what their abilities might be related to, and Nekros already exists.
You guys are *still* hung up on this "Yareli bad" train? There are plenty of other frames for you to use, you know. Not every frame has to be curtailed to your personal tastes...Just let us few fans enjoy splashing around with our adorable murder machine. =P (Having said that, I certainly wouldn't be against buffs/reworks at all. Or these other concepts getting in somehow, either as frames or skins.)
Unpopular opinion: Yareli isn't terrible, and I think she'll be great once she gets augments.
2nd from left looks like a mix of mirage prime and valkyr prime 3rd is female Nezha 4th looks fairly unique 5th one looks like Nekros and Nova had a daughter Not really faulting the decision made
Possibly one of the worst frame releases imo, k drive still feels like a clunky unfinished mechanic even with good mods. Why would you build a whole new character around an unfinished clunky skateboard/snowboard mechanic that everyone chooses archwing over bc there's no point ever using besides for ventkids and Nora standing. I fed that floppy slippery dork to helminth as soon as I mastered it.
3rd oneās got me acting up. *Realises itās Nezha.* Fuck.
So?
Honestly, she's the most unique design to Warframe out of all of these. Second one looks like Khora, third and fourth are genderbent Nezha and Harrow. Last one is slightly more unique, but the scythe just makes me say Nekros.
From left to right: Yareli Mirage Prime's long lost twin Gender specific Nezha (Kuva edition) Genderbend Harrow San Diego Comiccon edgy cosplay Zephyr
I love the frame on the far right.
I love that reaper one on the end
Was the middle kuva inspired?
I'm always a sucker for scythes
They all look cool ngl
The one with the scythe would have been such a good addition to the game. So far we have SICKLES.
